Property Ratings at Brickhaven
Poor management, awful living conditions. I don’t know how this place gets away with the things they do, would not recommend this place to anyone.
I want to move out already , cheap apt but never want to go back again . easy to get hear the sound from outside and every month they cuting the tree at 7:30 am with machine until the whole day , I couldn’t sleep with the sound
I have lived in this apartment complex for the last 15 years. Like every other complex there have been issues that may surface. I've never had a problem in resolving ANY issues. They're very caring AND concerned about their residence. From the office to the grounds they strive to keep things decent and in order. I have never in 15 years waited over two days for maintenance to complete ANY repairs. On the norm they're there the same day. The property is very clean and we are like one big family looking out for one another. I could not recommend in a better place to call HOME and that is why I've been there 15 years and plan to be there 100 more. It's a very diverse complex with a lot of unity.
I lived a long time there and they are really the best apartments in south Houston good maintenance and they are cheap really good place to live greetings brick haven.
I would not recommend this complex. Parking is a big issue here, I have a son with special needs that needs therapy everyday for 45 minutes and there are never visitor spots available for the therapist or any family and friends that come to visit to park. You get one parking permit for a 1/bed and 2 permits for 2/bed. The issue is tenants that have "extra" cars in the household are parking in the visitor spots ALL DAY. I noticed cars not moving from the visitors spots for 5 days!!! I wish that they would limit the time someone is allowed to park there for 2 or 3 hours it would solve these issues and give everyone a chance to receive visitors. Limit the time and town away people breaking the rules.
My husband and I have lived at brickhaven for more than four years we live in a one bed room apartment and when we first got here everything was good it was a quiet location and the personal from the office was nice and friendly they would help you out as much as possible and the manager was wonderful but since the new manager came in somethings changed for good but the good things that were there are nit existent the staff is horrible they don't care about the residents the manager same thing we go to her for some consents or questions and resolving the issue is never a priority for her. PARKING IS A HUGE ISSUE like I said earlier my husband and I live in a one bedroom app. We both work and we each have one vehicle like most couples now a days so the issue comes when we can't get two parking permits because we live in a one bedroom apartment and there is not enough parking spots for all the residents we are always worried of our other vehicle being towed it's a hassle we have to live and deal with every single day! I mean where else are we suppose to park our other vehicle when we are living here??? It's ridiculous when you go to the manager and see if she could give us an extra parking sticker she says that that is not her issue and there is no type of consideration what so ever because we have live here for a years that if we want to we can just leave!!!!!!!
I had no family here in Houston and I really needed help getting into an apartment, because I was offered a job and had nowhere to stay.I literally prayed that God send me to the right place so I came down from dallas walking out on faith and I called Brick Haven Apartments back.I spoke with Abby and she did everything, I mean everything to get me into a plcae. I had notified her that I had broke a lease before but it was because of unfair circumstances. Moreover, after explaining the situation she worked with me and I paid an additional deposit and was leased a place. I thank God for them
Horrible office staff. Complex is infested with roaches no matter how many times they exterminate. Parking is a joke. They have too many residence and no where near enough parking.
I have lived here for very many years and parking is an issue in this place there are not enough parking lots! but besides management very good and helpful
I do like the brick apartments because it limits the amount of noise that i can hear from outside. I like because they are spacious. what i do not like is that there is never parking space available and quite often there is trash left around the property. I do not like that their service is not consistent ( i ask for work order and sometimes they get to it right away and sometime i have to call them a second or third time)
The apartment complex is pretty quiet for the neighborhood. Maintenance is pretty quick about fixing anything that needs repairs within 24 hours. The security gates never work but there is security patrolling the complex. Rent is reasonable. Amenities are nonexistent. So if you're working to pay the bills this is the perfect location.
I really like the atmosphere and its very quiet at this location. The apartments are very nice and lovely.
