When I first came to look at this apartment (back in January)the leasing consultants who worked there at the time were too smiley and friendly. They told me all the great reasons why this Apt should be my choice BUT they failed to leave out all the bad stuff. You don't get to choose your own Wifi company, they have their own that you DO PAY FOR and it DOESN'T WORK most of the time. There's always something not working right in the Apt whether it's the toilet, ants, Neighbors with LOUD pets, electric outages, dirty/stinky hallway carpets, etc. I've called multiple times for the carpet in the hallway and they don't do nothing but spray something that doesn't last. Thieves come here whenever they want, my Purse and car charger got stolen from my car and when I spoke with Jaimee the Regional Manager she said "she don't wanna cause any worry" when I said to send out emails so residents were made aware to be careful with their belongings. The Pool wasn't open when it was supposed to be since Memorial Day (it opened mid July only to shut down again with issues..They charge way too much money to be having this many issues..The Maintenance guys do a good job and the office ladies Kanessa and Shay are terrific and super nice! I leave this review so everyone can see what they're up against if they choose to live here. I'm not renewing. Look elsewhere this place isn't worth it.

When I moved here in 2019 this property was great. But during the last 3 years the staff turnover has been very high. Recently a new manager has been named but she is completely understaffed. For the money, the quality of services is terrible. Communication from the office to residents is nonexistent. It feels like they take the money and run. Not sure if Edward Rose cares about their residents good marketing but does not reflect reality.

Living here is nothing like apartment living. Our family loves the pool and seeing all the dogs play in the dog park. My favorite amenity is having a laundry room and garbage pick up right outside our door nightly. I don’t have to worry about hauling laundry or garbage around. I also enjoy the beautiful grounds. The maintenance staff is always around ensuring everything from garbage, to flowers, to the poolroom whatever else is needed. - Ashley C

Brickshire Apartments is a very beautiful property. My favorite amenity is having the convenience of a built-in washer and dryer. The pool is nice during the summer and there is a gym if you’re looking to get in a quick workout. The office staff is friendly and the maintenance team is reliable. Quiet neighborhood just minutes away from US 30 and the highway. - Josh K.
Living here was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The first day I moved in my washer flooded the apartment because the washer was not installed properly. The hallways were always dirty and smelly. I literally saw somebody throw their trash bag down the stairs leaving trash everywhere which wasnt cleaned up for days. The trash compactor was alway full or out of order with piles and piles of garbage sitting outside. Which is something that has been unaddressed for YEARS. Somebody tried breaking in and busted the door frame. We contacted the office and instead of fixing the door frame, they changed the lock and put the keys in the office which closes at 5pm. I dont get out of work until 8 so I was locked out of my apartment in the middle of winter and I was never even notified. We complained and were promised a credit of $25 which we never got. Our neighbors were constantly screaming at eachother and pounding on the floor. We complained several times and the office told us we have to call the police if it happens again. We called the police and were told they cant do anything and we have to notify the office. A few days later we get a noise complaint from the people we've been complaining about for months. After giving my notice and paying all remaining rent, i called the office SEVERAL times making sure that everything was squared away and that I didn't owe anything else. Shelly and Alaina BOTH informed me that I didnt have anything left to pay because i paid my final rent and nothing was left. I asked about my security deposit and was told i would receive it in full. I called several times about this as well and when i got my refund back it was less than half of what i was suppose to be refunded. DO NOT get an apartment here. Try your luck down the street there are much better options
Can't wait for my lease to be up these bugs are terrible they fly out of the drains they fly out of the toilet they never fixed nothing there internet is very sucky they Te'o we're sorry that's all you ever hear is we're sorry we're sorry but they love accepting your rent though not a recommended place

There are just to many issues to list. From garbage internet service, Mickey Mouse of repairs, garbage every where because compactor doesn't work, shoveling in winter is none existent climbing over snow banks to get to car, management is pleasant but completely useless never get anything done. These are just a few quick issues there are many more! Will make you feel welcome but will never follow through or rectify any issue. I would suggest AVOIDING ANY EDWARD ROSE PROPERTY AT ALL COST!! This company has no concern for tenants only making sure their check is there on the 1st of month!! Look else where!
I have lived here for about a year now. Dishwasher has been broken for six months. Internet is trash, always going out and I can't get my own service provider. They only have ONE dumpster for the whole complex, and its always full. Compacter is always broken. Staff is nice, but unhelpful. Hot water is kinda lukewarm, at best. Shower pressure isn't very good, either. My neighbors above me have lots of children who stomp everywhere at all hours. Complained about it, with no results. Can't wait to move out. Do not come here until they, at the very least, fix their serious trash issues. It is a shame, because my apartment does look nice.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Brickshire staff last week. They were very helpful and patient with me. They went over and beyond to satisfy my needs. There floor plans are beautiful! Im looking forward to being a Brickshire resident.

At first I was hesitant from some of the reviews on line. I encourage anyone who is concerned to please look for themselves. I have to say I was very impressed with the look of the apartments & the professionalism of the staff. I've been helping my sister to relocate & have been scouting out different locations. Without her with me to complete an application most staffs won't give me much of their time, however the management here was extremely curtious & professional. She seemed more concerned with answering my questions & helping me find the right fit rather than pushing me into an apartment or just out the door for that matter. Please look for yourselves. I am so glad that I decided to go and see for myself instead of relying on the reviews. You will not be disappointed! Extremely satisfied and I know if my sister decides on Brickshire will be too!
The frustration I have with this company is unbearable. I moved my father in this apartment for peace of mind. But all I have received is grief and heartache. My father passed away a month after moving into this apartment. Due to his passing I have handled the move out at this complex. Starting with the notice to vacant. I was told it was ok to move out at the end of the month. No one didn't speak of charges of the 12 days of April until I got the amount of his deposit in the amount of $461 out of $1354. It saddens me that this company would rob a deceased man. The staff in the office won't bend a finger to make sure everything is in order. They lose payments and hard to speak to the property manager. Our only voice is though reviews. I have to bash you to get a response and get this situationed. And it's funny how the company see the reviews that everyone is posting and still nothing has changed. Everyone is saying the same thing and still no resolution. It's not us it's you. We pay a redecorating fee of $175 and they still charge for "cleaning". I hope this shine some insite to the corporate office and to the viewers.

Moved in October 2015 we have not had any TV SERVICE at all,the box in living room doesn't work never had since we moved in our 2 bedroom TV hasn't worked since moving in but we are still paying every month for TV SERVICE we have called and still getting the same old answer which is nothing

Not a place to rent from! Locked into buying there Dish TV plan which is constantly going out but you have no choice its paid with your rent and they don't allow anyone else on the property. Management is ABSOLUTELY horrible most times they don't answer the phone, usually won't answer emails and if you do go to the office they yes you to death and nothing is done. Always get the excuse we have to get approval from corporate! Ask to speak to corporate and you can't! When I had a serious security issue I did get the district managers phone number. Made several phone calls leaving voicemails not a single response! Landscaping, snow removal, trash, general cleanliness and maintenance of the property has a lot to be desired. I don't know if all Edward Rose Properties are run like this, but as for Brickshire I will never rent from them again and would advise anyone thinking of renting to avoid Edward Rose at all costs!
