I am so happy you left such a positive review. we appreciate the great words towards our maintainance crew. They work hard and in terrible weather. Again... Thank you
Great place to live. Nice affordable rent. Quiet. The apartment manager Pam and assistant manager Tracy is great and awesome! Very concerning people about what’s going on and what they can do better. Maintience is very responsive and has quick response time. Never had a problem. They make sure your needs are taken care of in a timely matter. The office manager even goes around and picks up trash in the morning don’t see that to often. Great place to live!
We lived at Brickstone for 6 years, Pam and Tracy and the maintenance team are great! They are always helpful and friendly and the maintenance guys do a great job. Yes, these are older apartments but Perry Reid Properties has poured a LOT of money into updating and keeping the apartments in good shape. They also have great amenities. -MH
You can hear what the neighbors are doing because the walls are thin. The people who live here are nasty. The complex I live in has mice and the mice come into my apartment even though it's cleaned daily. Management does nothing about the rodent problem.
We have rented our apartment for 46 years. Yes that's right, since built around 1972.lived in 300 building than moved when rest was built up front than moved there. Older English Manor. This place has been professional ran the total time we have been here.I have seen everything here and will argue the professional management with anyone. Maintenance is fantastic but of course with 9 buildings and 3 maintenance people there will be some problems. First moved in children where not allowed, but thankfully that has been changed.professional security at all times. Perfect family venue. Our Manager Pam is perfect for this complex. 5 star. Just come ask me.
I have lived at Brickstone for 3 years and not planning to move any time soon. I was not happy when I came here, however, after the first year they put lights in the parking lot which made me feel safer; after the change of management things got 80% better than I expected. Whenever I have a problem in my apartment, maintenance is always prompt and my problems are handled in a timely manner. New manager Ms. Pam and her assistant Ms. Tracy is Awesome and the best this place will ever see. It is not one morning that I pull into the lot, which I don’t see Pam; she is out smiling, walking the property, or watering flowers. Kudos to the property owner for such awesome management
Staff is rude and unprofessional. Carpet was already torn when we moved in and they charged us. Balcony door was rusty and kept squealing. The screen door wasn't attached and my son fell through. Told them about it and nothing was done the whole year I lived there. The cabinets and closets are falling apart. The top part of the closet door came down. The place is infested with BUGS. Every insect you can think of. Told them and still nothing was done. My son and I were pretty being eaten alive. Disgusting and filthy!!!!! When we were moving out our furniture we threw out our mattress and laid it against the dumpster (where 2 more mattresses from other owners were) and Pam came out and told us she would charge us $100 if we didn't put it in the dumpster. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Pam and Vicky are very rude, lazy and unprofessional.
They not only wanted entry almost on a weekly basis, but intruded my home without a prior notice & was almost attacked by my dog. Luckily for them, I was home. Next issue was how their lawn care service destroyed my AC & they took 5 days to fix it during the hottest weekend of the summer leaving the apartment uninhabitable & did not want to compensate. Also, I watched their carpeting people (while renovating another apartment) backed into my car causing a broken tail light, a beat bumper & damages to the paint. I only asked for a replacement light & id do the replacement myself... Instead, i was ignored for 13 DAYS until threatening to hold the entire company liable to get my car in its former condition, plus labor. If I had not been out there watching, this Brickstone employee was going to make an attempt to drive off until I yelled at him, he readjusted the wheel & parked back into a parking space. This is the absolute worst place I've ever lived, staff sucks, service sucks. If you don't want to take an apartment complex to small claims court, do not even consider moving here. It is not worth half what it costs.
Maintenance is slow, and does not do a great job when they do get around to fixing things. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, but people do it anyways which makes the hallways smell like cigarette smoke and weed. There is a little dog park, and the new laundry room is nice. The location is nice since it is close to many restaurants and WSU. Finally, there has never been a time where I have not felt save living here. However, after a one year lease, I am going to look elsewhere for a place to live.
I had a 12 month lease here for a two bedroom apartment. The apartment we moved into had stains already on the carpet, and a big hole on one of the doors. When we asked for the door to be fixed, it was simply painted over. The walls are fairly thin, you will hear most of what your upstairs or downstairs neighbor does with their time, and the apartments reek. While I was staying there, office staff replaced the carpet in the hallway and painted the walls an off-white color to replace the primer that was there before. Although it was a huge improvement, it did not get rid of the stench. Your apartment will smell like your neighbors apartment, which in my building meant urine, weed, burnt food and wet dog. What the apartment units themselves have is charm, and a unique and relatively large layout. Unfortunately, their charm is well overshadowed by the primer on the walls that stains easily and cannot be painted over, the filthy carpeting, the lingering stench and the leaking windows. These are old apartments. They have a nice layout, but they are falling apart. Now my 12 month lease is over, they offered us to stay for another year with a 50 dollar increase to our rent. If we didn't want to do that, we could do a 6 month lease for a 90 dollar increase. After a year here, the original 540 was already feeling like too much for the quality of the apartments. When you move out, they will charge you for anything and everything they possibly can. Overall, these apartments weren't the worst, but I would far from recommend them. They ask far too much in rent and offer too little. You will be paying for the location of the apartments, and not the quality of them.
love love love! I have lived here for two years and don't see myself leaving any time soon! The location is great right next to Bradley fair and WSU, with tons of food options all around! If your looking for a nice quiet safe place to stay definitely check them out!
I love that this apartment is so close to everything, including Wichita State University. The management has made some great changes including a dog park! It is a gated community and has 2 pools with tables and lounge chairs. The staff is very friendly, and they will do everything they can to meet your requests. Overall, I think this is a great place to live!
Recently bought and under new management they offer 2 pools, 2 tennis courts and state of the art 24 hour fitness center and even a dog park. The newly renovated apartments are nice and there's even a state of the art entry gate with pin code access. However, maintenance is extremely slow and often don't fix the problem. It took me 5 times to get the down stairs laundry fixed and that was only because it nearly electrocuted me. But it's in a decent area of the city and quiet.
For the price it is good , they have added gates which is a big plus for security, but actually only one pool is open at a time. They need to improve on making sure facilities are available as advertised. Otherwise maintainence is excellent. Very fast response. The staff is friendly. I think the laundry rooms in the buildings leave a lot to be desired. If you get q recently renovated apt your in luck we did not get one.
