Property Ratings at Bridge 17 Apartment Homes
I am a single father and this is a great place to live, close to everything. The amenities are perfect, from the swimming pool to the gym. Maintenance is top notch, and the staff is friendly and professional. Security here patrols at night and we feel safe. Whether you live alone or with a family, this is where you want to be.

I am so sorry I am only now responding to this review. Thank You for the great review and we are so happy you love living with us. We do our best to provide a great home for our residents. Team Bridge 17
Property manager is unprofessional at times. We call for certain requests and most of the time ive been ignored. Wouldnt stay here ever again the way ive been treated is horrible. Also your car will get broken into alot even though they say security is going around but i never see them.
I have not lived in apartments for decades so when I ran across Bridge 17, I was very pleased. Very roomy, love the high tech appliances, the pool is beautiful and serene, exercise room is awesome (I'm a gym rat), love my balcony (view of sunset every evening), and I do not hear my neighbors except going up/down the stairs in the breezeway. The dog park is nice to have also (better if people picked up behind their pets and not leave for others to pick up or the maintenance guys). I have a small dog so I can walk him easily around the grounds but people with bigger dogs may want more room to walk dogs. I love my apartment though! The ladies in the front office have their work cut out for them - meaning some of the residents. We are all adults here, so you can't please EVERYONE. Being considerate seems to have gone out the window with some: throwing trash from car on ground; not picking up behind their pets; dogs barking on balcony at early hours; parking where you are not suppose to; visitors not complying with noise/parking rules; unattended children/pets. The maintenance guys do pick up the trash AND dog poo on the grounds, which I think they should not have to do. Pick up behind yourselves! The maintenance guys also keep the grounds very appealing. My biggest issues (why I did not give 5 stars) is the parking/towing. Right now (started May 2021), the towing company, Don's Towing, is not reliable at all. I have called them personally and they seem to have an attitude when you call them and have yet to see them tow ANYONE. To the people that know the tow truck will not show, please park where you are suppose to. You never know anyone's situation and they may truly need that spot closer to their home or may need the handicap parking spot. And to the ladies in the front office, bless you and you are appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are considering changing tow companies but have not received any recent complaints. I think people are doing better with the parking issue but I will not tell a lie, it is tight out here. You are correct, not everyone likes to follow rules but when we find out we ensure they do or find a new home. We just want everyone to follow the rules and enjoy living here and, in my opinion, is a very simple thing to do. We will continue to work hard to provide our residents with the best service and nicest looking community so you can be proud to say you live at Bridge 17. Team Bridge 17
I have been here at bridge 17 since September 2020. These apartments are great all around. Very safe and excellent management that are highly motivated. I would say parking is the only downside, however I would highly recommend bridge 17!!

We are so happy you are happy. Glad we are fixing the parking issue this month. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. We are always here to help and want you to be proud of where you live. Team Bridge 17
Renting at Bridge 17. Paper-thin walls. I can hear everything my neighbors do. Every conversation, every step they take, every tv show they watch. Feels like we are living together, which we are not. A parking nightmare. Dog poo all over the place. I don’t even own a dog and I have stepped in it, and it smells bad around here. Trash. Overflowing trash areas and trash all over the parking lot. If you like to be babysat, the property manager loves to send a barrage of emails out. Mainly telling us how to park, about the dog poo issue (which she stated wasn’t her issue), and trash problems. YET she does absolutely nothing to fix said issues, just more emails with threats and no solutions. Property manager. In all of my years of apartment living and transferring around the states, this is the RUDEST apartment manager I have ever encountered. I can’t wait to get out of here. I like clean grounds, a place that doesn’t smell like a poo pit, thicker walls, ample parking, a NICE and FRIENDLY property manager who doesn’t just sit behind a keyboard sending out email after email, rather a property manager who listens to complaints and concerns and actually does something about them! If you like all these things, then this is the place for you!

I am so sorry to hear you are unhappy at Bridge 17. Our goal at Bridge 17 is to always have a clean and welcoming environment and a place you are happy to call home. For this reason our team does property pick up daily. We remove any trash, feces or anything that does not belong on the grounds. It is very rare that we see feces outside of the dog park and we have been approved to do Pet DNA testing. As for the trash containers, there are 2 however it seems that many residents use the same one causing it to overflow. I am unaware of there being trash in the parking lot as I was never notified about it nor did anyone on our team see this. We recently increased the dumpsters to be dumped 6 days per week. Every morning we place any trash left beside the dumpster inside of it so that your home always has a nice appearance. We are even considering Valet Trash but that would increase your rent so we have not yet made a decision. I am sorry you feel that I am rude and send out too many emails. Emails are sent out to provide the residents with property information. In many cases a resident will call us and ask us to email all residents about an issues they notice and we always comply. If you would like to call me to discuss your concerns I am sure there is something we can work out for you that will make you happy. Please call me at 757-967-0762. Vicki Bridge 17
I took a gamble renting here since there were no reviews yet, it’s been a little while now so I’m writing a review to help someone else. Brand new beautiful apartments, however walls are thin so it sounds like your next door neighbor is in the same room when they talk or even play music. If you have someone living above you, it sounds like a dinosaur is walking and when doors are closed it shakes your apartment as well. It started off quiet at first which I loved, but then more people started to move in as more apartments were leased. During the day I get it, but not at 10, 11, or 12 at night when you have to work the next day. Trash cans are small and fill up quickly. Pet friendly, but not really many places for your dog to go to the bathroom except the dog park which is muddy because they are still trying to grow grass and some other grass back over there which is a mix of grass and mud. No place to really walk your pets since there isn’t a neighborhood that you could walk to. You’ll have to drive to a park to give them any exercise. Internet/Cable is good. Balcony is a good size. Shower is kind of small compared to other places I’ve seen but has good water pressure. All appliances are nice. Right next to the highway so you hear cars passing all day and night. Good location to be near things. Ladies in the office are super nice and willing to help with anything, but you have to go to the office if you need anything because they are always busy so they don’t really have time to answer the phone.

Thanks so much for your review. Thankfully the dog park is no longer muddy as we fixed the drainage issue. Hopefully your pup can now run and play in there. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Team Bridge 17
The women in the office were very friendly! the apartment looks great, I've had zero issues. I moved in around a month ago and I have absolutely no complaints!
