Property Ratings at Bridge at Heritage Woods
Although the apartments and amenities are something we do cherish the gates not working for the past few weeks is something really concerning. Spoke to the regional manager and it won’t be fixed for another 3 weeks or more. In the past two weeks we have had our whole CAR stolen (which was taken by 4 boys) and then our ebike that was chained to the second floor was stolen as well. The security patrolling the front does nothing for the apartments in the back who are left unprotected. When my boyfriend signed his lease he felt assured in the fact that it was a gated community but the lack of gates/ cameras really does nothing to deter from burglaries in the neighborhood. If looking to lease here please make sure you are on guard at all times as people have been coming in the night and looking for things to take. Our biggest concern is they will start to break in to actual apartments next. This is also for our neighbors safety as well. Please stay safe.
Heritage Woods has been my home for a few months and I love it here. The location is convenient and I love the natural surroundings that embrace the community.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is a reason everyone is moving out and people aren't renewing their leases. Gates are constantly not working. Break-ins in the apartments - they sent out an email notifying residents to be on the look out. Shady business practices. They will make up charges to keep your money. Condition of apartments are poor because they were in a rush to complete. Management doesn't care, they just take your money at all costs.
I had to move back into an apartment after many years of living in a house, and I am so glad I picked this one. From day one the staff has been attentive, accommodating, and very friendly. They resolve all my services call within a day (sometimes even the same day). The apartment manager, Lee, is so professional whenever I bring up any issues and never dismisses any concerns I might have. They keep you informed constantly of what is going on in the complex and work hard to keep a safe and clean environment for all. I highly recommend Heritage Woods!
There is so much wrong here at hw. Staff will say Anything to sign a lease. Beware of what you sign. The prop manager will smile until you’ve signed, then she’ll make your life miserable. The front gates were left broken open for 4+ Months!! Cars got vandalized, and staff did nothing to assist. There is a tent city not far from the entrance and another in the rear. There’s a lot of daytime traffic, and at night, you would think you are at Nascar bc of the constant drag races. On a Good day, no less than half refuse to operate correctly. The staff will not lift a finger to assist you with coordinating installs nor attending to work orders. I never had any problems with where I lived until I moved here. The worst mistake, but I won’t make the same mistake again. Many folks are leaving. If the apartment you want is available, ask how long it’s been vacant; likely, it’s been on the market for months bc everyone knows how terrible hw is. There is frequent car vandalism, and there’s been a lot of breaking into apartments, but no way will the leasing office hire security or even install lights/cameras to help deter. The only thing the staff here care about is money and how to screw you over to make more money. Turnover here is very high, and if the unit is available, chances are they didn’t inspect/do repairs before you moved in. The unit a friend moved into was not in great shape before moving in, and staff swore that it’d be cleaned/fixed up before she moved in; 8 Months later, Nothing has been fixed. Avoid hw at all costs. It is a nightmare you will be glad you skipped. I hope you don’t make the mistake I made and run as far and fast away from hw as you can!
The staff at heritage woods do not deliver an outstanding living experience, ever. The building quality is very poor, doors are crooked, fixtures don’t work/don’t match, doors won’t fully close, the appliances half work, (my oven has been 1/2 broken the past year I’ve lived here), the parking situation is ridiculous (they towed my neighbor twice bc HW staff couldn’t add her info to the do not tow list, the AC at heritage woods is some econo cheapo AC system, doesn’t cool quickly so your electric bill is 100’s every month. The staff at hw will tell you anything to sign your name bc once you have they know they’ve got you and they will do absolutely everything to avoid helping you or making your experience anything but enjoyable. Don’t move here. Run away from heritage woods as fast as you read this. It is the worst property ever.
