The town has experienced massive growth since the 1980s, meaning many of the apartments and homes are fairly new, and the cost of living is very affordable compared to many places closer to the city. Only about 30 minutes to downtown Charleston via I-26, it’s a great place for commuters to call home. Parents will appreciate the terrific local schools and family-friendly events like the annual Flowertown Festival.

Property Ratings at Bridge Pointe Apartments and Townhomes
worst place ever. we've had water marks as mold on our ceiling since we have moved in almost 3 years ago. first off, office manager , Beverly, is a real piece of work. we stayed there for 2 years and decided to move, but they don't want you to leave. so, if asked about your possible next residence they will smear your name through the mud and say whatever to make you not leave. My neighbor decided it was time for them to move after months of mistreatment and neglect by the managers and maintenance staff both. but, when the manager heard she quickly went through all steps to evict them and complain and slander their names, all in effort to try to get them to stay but not being able to go anywhere else. On the website they say 3-15 month leases but once you sign once you better be prepared because when your lease runs out they will not let you sign for anything less than 1 year or you will be penalized. They will never replace appliances, they are so old and outdated it isn't funny. the freezers don't even have a shelf. we have had to call maintenance multiple times because the A.C. stopped working and froze over, but all they do is come and refill it with Freon. The living rooms dont even have a light. come on. also, the "pool" is only open for a few hours and there has to be someone on duty and the people they hire will close the pool and just leave randomly whenever they want with no repercussions so, if the pool interests you you might as well count that out. If you want to have a nice place and you want your family to be happy don't come here.
Worst place ever!!! The floor plans are noted incorrectly and the rooms and garage are smaller than noted. You can hear everything through these paper walls including your neighbors sneezing, snoring, dog barking and baby crying. The property sits next to a creek so you WILL find snakes and lizards on your patios and at your front door. Recently a snake stayed dead on the ground for days just in front of the ONLY dumpster you will be dragging your trash to. If you are used to or looking for curb appeal... you will find nothing but pine straw here! And with all the recent rain and pine straw going down the drains, the streets and 10 apts were flooded out. This was the dirtiest place I've ever moved into with mold aggravating my allergies as soon as I walked into the bathroom. There is paint sprayed all over with mirrors and when they replaced the lighting, they never painted touch up so you can see where the old lighting was. Don't expect modern appliances, this is the cheapest place I've lived in. Not even a light in the kitchen oven. They will replace parts but not appliances. Very disappointed I ever came here. I hope this helps you make a wiser decision.
bridge point apartments are by far the best apartment I have ever stayed at. the neighbors are nice. the neighborhood is in a great place with every thing around you. the rooms and bathrooms have perfect size. I think I will be at bridge point for a while
