Property Ratings at Bridgepoint
I have lived here for 3 years and will be leaving in October. Let me start by stating the units are in complete disrepair. Just walking around the complex it is evident that up keep is no longer a priority. I have turned in work orders and they go completely unanswered. Amenities they list are a joke. I had a fireplace in my unit for which I paid a “premium.” They sent out a notice telling us that they were doing maintenance to fix the fireplaces. I came home from work to find the fireplace had been covered over with sheet rock. Removing is not fixing! And the alteration was not reflected in the price of the unit. The pool has been closed more time than it has been open for the time I have lived here. That seriously is not an exaggeration. They don’t use a pool service they just have their maintenance staff attempt to care for the pool and they obviously are swimming in the deep end and way over their heads because it isn’t working. Let’s talk about landscaping and yard maintenance. We went 6 weeks last summer without the lawn being mowed! The big freeze killed a lot of stuff and that isn’t managements fault but not removing the dead or replacing is their fault. There are several beautiful large trees but occasionally really big limbs have fallen and it took management over two weeks to have them cleared. There was a brick privacy fence/wall that fell into the parking lot and it was there for 3 weeks! Maintenance didn’t even clear the bricks out of the way for cars to drive out. I’m a big guy and I was a Marine so I really don’t worry about my safety but I definitely wouldn’t want my daughter to live here. The lighting at night is nonexistent. Honestly there is just so much wrong here. I don’t know what they are doing with the maintenance budget but it isn’t being utilized as it should be. Which leads me to my largest complaint. The office management. First thing is you never see them out of their offices. Other complexes you see the management touring the complex to see the condition and just checking to see if things are being taken care of - not here! The only time you see them is if they are showing the “model” unit (which by the way, looks NOTHING like the unit they will put you in) or you can make it to the office during their office hours. When you do venture to the office to speak with them they are rude and condescending. They do not listen to understand, they are automatically forming their rebuttal to your concern.

When we first moved in, the carpet was damp as if it had just been cleaned. We assumed "great, shampooed floors", but after they had dried, there was such an icky and oily substance they remained on our feet/socks, so we always had to wear shoes in our home. Fast forward to the revelation of the RATS AND ROACHES infestation. We can literally hear the rats squealing and running in the walls, and the downstairs neighbors showed us where they killed one that was running rampant in their home. No matter how clean you are, there are always roaches. Dog poop always smeared everywhere. THE LAUNDRY FACILITIES ARE BEYOND DISGUSTING AND POORLY FUNCTIONING! Earned 2 stars because of the setup, good parking, and the location; Otherwise, horrible.

Thanks for the 5-Star Rating- it makes us feel great about all that we are doing here at Sandstone!
Pictures are misleading, nothing looked that way in my unit. Bed bug and cockroach infestation! Major mold issue!!!!
I have lived here for a little over a month and wanted to wait to write a review until I actually felt like it was my home. I absolutely love it here. My kids also love it here. There are a lot of other kids that they can run around and play with. We feel safe letting them play because the neighborhood is nice and quiet. My neighbors are all so friendly and we have actually made new friends in the time that we have been here. The office staff and maintenance are always so nice and quick to address anything that we ask of them. Although the apartment complex is a little older, they are well maintained and kept up.
been here just a few days , but already i can say i love it here ! office people are so kind ! apartments are nicely cleaned for when you move in! office answers questions to best of there ability !
Wanted to wait a month to make a review this is what i could say so far. I'm coming from another apartment that had more amenities unfortunately for the cost for more was over bearing. Still wanted the home feel after searching several apartments the price was right, location, friendly staff, and caring about my pet. Couldn't be more happy the staff will go above and beyond.thank you so much.
I moved in about a month ago and I like it here. It seems very quiet and the office staff is so nice. I haven't gotten to enjoy the pool yet, but by the looks of it, I can't wait to get it in. The grounds are nicely kept and there is still green grass in the winter. I live in a fully upgraded apartment and I feel like it's a luxury apartment with the stuff that is upgraded. It was worth the money for the upgraded apartment. They are pet friendly and when I go into the office they are always giving my dogs treats. I haven't had any real maintenance issues to speak of. The only thing is that my oven wasn't working when I moved in and they forgot to plug it in when they installed the new one. So far so good and I would recommend it to anybody that is looking.
i moved in about a month ago and so far So good. I am in an upgraded apartment and it is worth the extra money for what they upgraded. The office staff is nice, they even give my dogs treats when we come in. I can't wait to use the pool! It always looks so inviting. The grounds are kept up and there is still green grass in the winter. I had to call for maintenance and. I first moved in because my stove wasn't working. They came right over and realized that they hadn't plugged in the new stove when they installed it. Now everything is working good. I love my little place.
What isn't there to like about this apartment?! The location is great, there's a pool, tennis court, beautiful landscaping, helpful staff, cozy lobby area (with free wifi), and dog park! We like that we are close to everything we need inluding H-E-B, Walmart, Target, and plenty of restaurants. The pool is well-maintained and spacious. The tennis court is really nice! The apartment does a spectacular job at maintaining the landscaping. However, they mow very often during the week. Every time I go into the lobby, I am welcomed and assisted. The lounge area is very nice. They have free coffee and water bottles. Our dog loves the dog park! They have exercise equipment for the dogs and plenty of waste stations around the complex to pick up after you dog. Overall, we really like it here!
Management here has always been nice and helpful with anything my husband and I need. My dogs love to play in the dog park area. The pool, although a bit small for a decent sized complex, is well-maintained and clean.
