Property Ratings at Bridges Apartment Homes
homeless people everywhere in the complex and management won't do anything about it. security doesn't answer phone, cars always being broken into, maintenance won't come for months, office never answers the phone, gym is gross and barely cleaned, pool and hot tub rarely get maintenance. complete waste of money renting here.... too much stress for my safety definitely wouldn't recommend.

Somebody stole my car from the parking garage overnight earlier this week. Cars get stolen; that can happen in any community. However, I will note that the security gate on the garage has been wide open for months. At one point, I think somebody told me they were waiting for parts. Bad reviews can be skewed by a person's emotions at the moment, so I will avoid going on a rant. Here is one thing you can do to make a decision for yourself, though. If you tour this place, ask the management to demonstrate that the gate is operable and is being used. Then decide for yourself what that tells you. On other things, I would say Bridges is about average compared to the other corporate-owned apartments I have experienced.

Thank you for your positive feedback! We appreciate it!
Geographically, it is very convenient and close to downtown/LDSBS/Citicreek. If location is your most concern, then there are other ones closer to downtown but a few hundreds more a month so this is probably the cheapest within this area without breaking your bank. For what's worth, they have very nice floor plans and interiors are well maintained as well as exteriors. Nice staff and they are willing to help you and the best way would be talking to them face to face. The appliances may be old, some could be a few years old and the management just don't want to replace them yet to save money even there are small but annoyed problems with them. Many students live here and they are the ones having problems with parking because there could be 2 to 5 persons sharing a two bed rooms thus finding parking spaces for those extra roommates will be a problem here but street parking are available nearby, just see how lucky you are. A pro tip for future resident, don't choose those apartments close to the train tracks(south side), they are not quiet enough sometimes and the vibration coming from it could make you feel dizzy sometimes and it will make the building shaking a bit. And also pick higher floors so your parking space will be upstairs protected by the gate. So picking the apartment farer to the tracks, such as x07 to x12 would be the best and also they are closer to parking garage and elevator. About rent payment, at this moment, they only accept online payment and there is no fees using checking account and small fees with credit/debit cards but you only have one day, the first day of the month, to make your payment or otherwise they will send you eviction notice, that's right, even you are just a few days late. But that's mostly how they scare the crap out of you so you don't miss a payment again. As far as maintenance, they are very promptly fixing stuff and try to avoid to replace anything you ask even they look terribly broken(save money, right :)).
Example of horrible management (referencing Tyler, the Bridges Director): My boyfriend submitted a management request about a bug infestation in his apartment. Heard nothing back. Suddenly, 10 days later, he gets an email saying that they need to prepare the apartment immediately for a 7:00am extermination visit the very next day and they would need to pay the $1000 cost for it. They asked questions to gain more understanding and then Tyler put an eviction notice on their door if they didn’t comply. The treatment is done. 3 days later, Tyler emails again saying that they haven’t reached out to arrange payment plans for the $1200 treatment and would be required to pay in 5 days (this is 5 days after paying rent- so basically an unexpected double rent payment). Note that Tyler didn’t provide a timeframe of when they needed to reach out to coordinate how and when to pay, AND he never said the full amount of the payment until he gave a 5 day pay or vacate demand. On top of that, the treatment didn’t work and the BUGS CAME BACK. Tyler clearly has no direction. He is a loose cannon usurping his authority over a livestock of cows. No regard for humans. I’m sorry my boyfriend went through this. Just stay away. Please!
The bedbug infestation spreads throughout each unit- through walls, ceilings, and cracks. If your neighbor has it, you most likely have bed bugs too. Yet, the apartment is going to put the blame on you if you report it and charge you $1200 for the treatments. Best to just stay away. Or if you are having similar problems, report it to the Utah Department of Health! We need all the help we can get!
My neighbor was evicted while on vacation, they had the funds, no email/call, came home to an empty house - according to my understanding. We had a mix up ourselves and believed we had already paid this month, we get back after a weekend vacation to see that we had 1 day to pay rent or we would be evicted (meaning you still owe your ENTIRE year contract rent, you're just kicked out and they move someone else in) this also being 3 days after rent was due... No call/email/contact. We've paid (and set up autopay thank goodness) so we're not at risk of eviction or further trouble, but if we stayed 1 more day on vacation we would have owed around $15,000 and would have been kicked out to the curb. It's a nice place at a decent price but we're leaving as soon as we can as this policy is simply unacceptable. I feel sorry for everyone who wasn't so lucky, as I understand it this is a very common thing that happens at Bridges At Citifront , we've personally seen several groups bringing exactly the same complaints to management we just ignored it in the past and thought it was exaggerated, never again, be careful
It is a very nice apartment complex, however for the price they are very lacking in amanities the gym is way below standards for a luxury apartment and the pool should be cleaner with these prices, parking sucks and the neighborhood is not children friendly if you're looking for that
The apartment we live in is great. It is a beautiful 1 bed, 1 bath with concrete floors and granite counter tops. But we are going to have a baby in a few months and would love to move into a 2 bedroom but we are not sure we can afford it yet because I will have to work significantly less hours. Hopefully I can be a stay at home mom but we will see. The staff at our complex are very nice and quick to get things changed when you need them also. Over all a pretty great place to live.
