Located 15 miles south of Downtown Denver, the West Hampden area sits partly in Denver, but its proximity to and overlap with suburbs such as Englewood, Aurora, and Lakewood give it a suburban feel with an urban address. Predominantly new construction fills the area, ensuring that renters and buyers have access to beautiful homes and apartments with modern amenities. Parks and walkways to the south along the Cherry Creek Reservoir keeps residents entertained and active all year round, while Interstate 275 and 25 will put you in Downtown Denver in no time.

Property Ratings at Bridges at 9 Mile Station
The pictures are extremely deceiving and look nothing like these pictures. The neighbors are horrible and loud and the people in the office don’t live here so they don’t care about absolutely nothing. If I could give zero stars I would.

Ignoring the shootings that happen nearly monthly in this neighborhood, the worst part is actually the management and maintenance. They'll either wait months to fix things, or just not fixing them at all. When they do show up to fix something, they won't be there the day or time they said they would and have on multiple occasions just let themselves in to the apartment. Don't waste your time or money.

During all the tough times and stuff they have been awesome with us! I have no complaints! Anita has been very helpful with anything we need! The manager has been awesome also! Thank you
0 stars. Just because these apartments changed their name does not change the fact that these are some of the worst apartments in Denver to live in. Please search "The Artisan Apartments" in Denver. It's these apartments. Everything is sub-par from the management, to maintenance, to your neighbors, to the apartment and the pool. Management has 0 customer service skills and will actually yell at you. The apartments are old, dingy, full of bugs. The water is turned off for hours a couple of times a week, every week. So good luck if you're in the middle of a shower. People will reuse the buckets and dip them in the pool to refill them. At move out, they will charge you for carpet cleaning even though they reuse the same carpets. The maintenance people look like felons and will keep "losing" your keys. You will hear gun shots and people break in your car. You will see your neighbors grabbing old couches and mattresses from the dumpster and bring them back in their apartments. Your neighbors love to play mariachi music all night until 2 or 3 in the morning. It was a very horrible experience to live here.
The office is sold every year because they can't seem to find competent staff. I have never been able to reach anyone at the office via phone. Every time I try to call, I get transferred over to their headquarters or something, then they promise me that they will call back, and never do. I have been trying to discontinue my lease since may, and have called several times to no avail. I am at the point of pursuing a lawsuit.
Please don't move here I've been here going on 2 years and this is my opinion but the customer service here is terrible you get a smile up on moving in once your here that disappears if my finances we're better I would have moved long time ago. There's no happy ness here please don't do it....
Staff was incredibly hard to get a hold of and was incompetent in relating information. I called 12 over three days and only got one email. Don’t rent from here. Positive reviews probably paid for.
I have lived here for 2 years. Do not move here! For one there is nothing but problems - New paint means nothing. They have to shut off your water atleast 1 or 2 times every week for maintenance that never seems to be fixed. My AC hasn't worked since last year, the apartment is 90 degrees, this is a health problem and they take their time for months to do anything about it. The only working pool or laundry is on the other side of the complex. The laundry and pool for this side is trashed and has never worked, I have to drive to a laundry mat. Soliciting, even by residents happens daily. The people have always been nice, but nothing gets done. Its affordable I.e. Cheap but I can see why. If I didn't run into financial hardship I would have left long ago.

As a Resident This place did start out kind of ok. but as the time went by the place started to go down from there, beware if you send you rent in early they will not process the payment when they receive it, I have sent in 3 payments early and 2 of them they can not tell me where the payments went, so i got charged a late fee, so i had to call the bank and cancel those two payments, the other payment the received early they tried to tell me they processed the payment an after calling the bank, they told me the payment was not processed, so had to stop payment on that, and the apartment charged me $50 for their mistake again, so please don't deal with this place, the staff if rude, i was in the offices and a lady walked in telling them that her water was coming out brown, and one of the girl laughed about it, which was not funny and the resident was not happy about that, the parking really suck, the sidewalk on the east and west side was re-done but all the dirt and old cement that was pulled up it still in the parking lot, and this has been here for like 3 or 4 months now, the place has bugs they say they have pest control but don't tell you it out of your pocket, it get charged to you account, and its only upon request, the pictures for this place are not the real pictures, please take a tour of this place before you sign any papers, and the kids here they destroy everything and it seems to be OK with the staff, the laundry rooms are always messed up or closed, the laundry on the west side had been shut down, it has been messed up so bad, that it became a health issue, the two pools that are here are never open and the place is trashed, for the quality of this place it is not worth the amount of rent these people put on this place, SO please really check this place out before to sign a lease, but my advice is please stay away

We are disappointed to hear of your dissatisfaction on our parking program, I would like to remind you that this paid program is optional. We are not forcing any of our residents to pay for it, you have the option to pay to have a guaranteed parking spot or the option to park out in the street. We rolled out this program to be able to control the parking situation better, we have people parking more than the limit of vehicles they have causing other residents not to have anywhere to park. On the lease breaking penalties, we don't charge 4 months of rent plus 60 day notice, if you look on your lease it explains what the lease breaking fees are. 2 times the amount of the rent to break the lease and you are required to give a 60 day notice, this is something you agreed to when you signed your lease. Management will be reaching out to talk to you and go over all the issues you are having.
This is, in my opinion, a terrible place to live. Not worth anyone's time or money. The management company has now decided to charge a 8 dollar fee every month to park your vehicle. If you want to break the lease you have to give 4 months worth of rent plus a 60-day notice. Had so many issues with the new management. I urge anyone looking into The Artisan Apartments to look else where they have a better chance of finding a better price, location, and better staff. The laundry rooms are HORRIBLE they have never done anything to fix it. Have a lovely day.

We are sorry to hear of the inconvenience you have had so far. We would like to inform you that our parking program is optional. The purpose for the parking program is to control how many vehicles park in the property to limit the vehicles. The penalties of breaking your lease and the notice to vacate addendum are stated in your lease contract. If you would like to discuss any further issues you are welcome to stop by the office and speak to the Community Director Patty Gonzalez.
Am so happy with all the employees they are very helpful and answer every question. Really nice apartments and clean. Highly recommend these apartments.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are happy to hear that you have had a great experience with us so far. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
If I could give this place no stars, I would. I am going to give a review completely on my own problems and not what other problems other residents here have had. First, their pictures on their website are not at all like this place is. It only has four machines in the gym. Their pool has not been available to use the entire summer. I've seen papers taped to doors saying that they need to be out on X date because of bed bugs. Also, the worst part is they drive around in a little golf cart and will get a towing service to tow your car. I parked in an area where it simply said Private Parking Residents Only thinking that, hey I live here, I'm a resident. But no, they still towed it and had to pay over $300 to get my car back. The manager at this place said yes we have a towing service and you shouldn't have parked there. I explained to her that it didn't say No Parking. So before I could get the news station here she had someone paint the side red and put new signs up saying No Parking. Of course, after I had paid to get my car back and she sneered that they would not help me at all. The residents here go dumpster diving of thrown out couches and mattresses from residents that had bed bugs which is what is causing recurring infestations. If I get bed bugs in my place I will not stand for that. -Ann Mc Guire-
This place is awfuuuul. Just do not even bother moving here. I've had absolutely nothing except for problems here. My ceiling leaked for 3 months before the management thought it was worth fixing. We don't have any of the bug infestations that I have heard from other neighbors but our apartment had dirty carpets upon move in along with a million other problems. There's red stuff all over our tiles in the kitchen, which we don't know what it is but the staff refuses to replace. When we moved in, none of our doors could even open. The pictures are absolutely not what you'll get upon move in and the smiling faces in the front will no longer be there anymore. I've proudly sent away at least 3 people from this apartment complex. I read all of the reviews and didn't think it seemed that bad and gave it a shot. It was an awful idea. They've also up'ed the rent by over 200$ from when we originally looked at the complex. It is definitely not worth that extra money. I really mean it when I say this, this place is AWFUL. And I am not being bias based on what has happened to me, it is happening to every single neighbor I have talked to. You can find places with cheaper rent that's much better than here.
So both I and a coworker live in this apartment complex (we don't live together.) She has had several issues with getting things fixed and such. I have too, but I haven't had as much break down. She is moving out because of the issues. I had my toilet break twice. The first time, it took them a week and a half to get in and fix it. So that was fun... They don't leave any sort of notes after they enter the apartment, but they've left the lights running for who knows how long. One day, I was away from my house from five in the morning until about eleven at night and three lights were on. I had no idea when they had been in, or how long the lights were on. As of now, I have submitted three work requests to get my garbage disposal looked at. On the plus side, it's affordable for me (I live alone and Denver is expensive.) and it's close to my family, my work and friends. And I have lots of space now - the rooms are somewhat large. I'll probably stick it out another year as I'm trying to save up for a house, and don't see the point in the moving expenses. But yeah, had I known the issues I'd have here, I would have stayed in my tiny studio I had before. =/ Not worth the headaches, really.
