You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy renting in San Ramon. The volunteer-run Forest Home Farms Historic Park is an effort committed to preserving history. You can view a slice of life from late 19th and early 20th centuries when you tour the farm and the Glass House Museum on site.
With more than 50 parks in the San Ramon city limits, it’s easy to find a place to delight in nature and partake in outdoor activities. Nearby Las Trampas Regional Wilderness is a massive park with extensive trail systems for hikers and horseback riders as well as prime bird and wildlife views. Head over to the Golden Skate, an all-ages roller rink, if you prefer to be active indoors.

Property Ratings at Bridges at San Ramon
If you want no peace from the moment you sign you lease, move here and you will get: - Old appliances that break within a week of moving in - You need to constantly email about said appliances to be replaced - Wait 2 months to have your microwave and dishwasher replaced - Have the patio that took you weeks to decorate be taken apart because they need to do repairs - Have said beautiful patio put back with no care and your decorations get damaged - Have your peace taken away by repairs being completed all at the same time. Many apartment communities will plan their repairs/capital improvements over time, but not here. They schedule painting the entire complex (including balconies), resealing stair landings, and resurfacing all parking areas back to back. I appreciate improvements but not all back to back. It feels like we have been under repairs for months. So no peace. - Have your car towed. Pay $500 and lose half a day of work to get your car back. They have no regard for the fact that there isn’t any other parking available while they do their repairs and will tow your car. No call. Nothing. Yes, they give notice, but what are you supposed to do when there is nowhere to park? There is no grace or a courtesy call. - Upon moving in you are given keys to the main gate and common amenities, only to find yourself locked out when you try to get in and realize that there is no lockset. There is a keypad but they failed to give you the code. So you end up being locked out after trying to come back home when the gate is closed. - No care or empathy from management. All they want is their money on time and otherwise you don’t matter. If all of this sounds like a dream to you, please live here. I’m moving out as soon as I can.

I would say 2.5 stars. PROS: -maintenance is pretty responsive -feels safe -the community is quite, generally...BUT, HUGE CAVEAT IN CONS -largest sized unit also has decently sized closet in 2nd bedroom CONS: -NOISE...Experience within the unit is 50/50 in terms of noise and peace. When quite, it is great. When noisy, it is ridiculous. 1. heating/cooling system is one of those that blow air, thus makes all that noise when it is on. This is annoying(bc it’s so loud), but to add insult to injury, when the unit downstairs' system is on, there is this hum/buzz/whatever sound from that unit being on that comes through the floor (where unit is located beneath) and vent (in living room--adjacent to flr part) & it’s very irritating to the ears. 2. From a 2nd floor unit one can literally hear the words spoken by a person walking on the sidewalk below. If one lingers by your unit (even downstairs), or at times w/ neighbors talking on their balconies from adjacent buildings, you can literally hear the words they speak! Frequently disruptive to sleep in AM! 3. Same applies for unit downstairs...there are times when they’re not shouting, and I (upstairs) can hear the actual words they are saying. Music from downstairs is also incredibly annoying at times...just boom boom booming , and I can literally sing along to some songs that I know. 4. Ppl stomping on stairs (frequently occurs) causes resonating thuds to reverberate through the unit...worst for the bedroom adjacent to the stairs, but can be heard even from the bedroom 3 rooms away! Like, able to wake u from ur sleep thudding...! 5. Property allows pets/dogs, and I have the misfortune of living close to a few dogs. 1 in particular just yap yap yaps from its balcony sometimes. I personally am not a pet owner, but I completely empathize with the fact that dogs also need to express themselves through barking; HOWEVER, if the dog is just going on and on, thus disturbing the ability of others to enjoy their peace/sleep as needed (AM hours), I don't think that to be fair. -The windows are incredibly thin in bedrooms...when it’s very cold overnight (30s or so), I literally check if the window is open sometimes bc the cold air coming from that direction feels as though the window may not be shut. -generally ridiculously overpriced for tiny units -smoking policy not particularly enforced -water bill consistently rather high EVEN when usage fluctuates significantly (e.g when away for extended periods)

Thanks for sharing your concerns. We realize the nature of apartment living can lead to inconvenient ambient noise, but we are working to improve the overall experience of our residents by focusing on aspects more within our control such as providing attentive customer service. That being said, we do encourage you to contact our office if you believe your neighbors are violating our community policies. Furthermore, all potential fees and charges, along with how they are calculated, are clearly outlined within the lease agreement. If you have any questions about your current costs, please give the office a call for further clarification. We thank you for your feedback, and we look forward to improving your time here in our community.
Good location. But, they charge you for EVERYTHING> garbage, HOT water {that isn't even HOT when you are doing laundry , service fee for hot water, sewer. so, on a monthly basis expect to pay an extra $200 for all these utilities on top of rent. Kitchen appliances are updated but, the washer and dryer are mismatched and old. certain modern features like nest thermometer but, nothing exceptional. It is quiet. and again, location is good. But, there are other apartment complex in and around San Ramon that don't charge you for everything under the sun

Thank you so much for your feedback. We apologize that there is some confusion regarding your Utility Billing. Please contact us at the office, and we would be happy to review your charges, and give you a breakdown them. We hope to hear from you!
Very nice complex with large rooms and good closet space. Washer and dryer in units and a small storage on the balcony. The common areas are well maintained however, water fountains no longer work. Great location! Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, banks and Starbucks.
Our Apartment was updated last year with wood flooring, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with dark wood cabinets, nice matching fireplace and bathroom sink. The area is very nice and safe with conveinent shopping right across the street, close to freeway access overall awesome!
