Property Ratings at Bridges of Cypress Creek Apartment Homes
First I just wanted to say that they don’t clean the apartment or care to check it for the next tenant when moving in! there was pee on the toilet, Gnats in my refrigerator and it smelled so badly even after I cleaned it, then there was damage done to room door, the patio blinds were broken & they gave me stove trays that don’t actually fit the stove which is hard to cook with. I’ve reached out twice and they said they would send someone to come look, no one has came and it’s been almost a month. After going through all this they take the special away from me because rent is late, but no one reached out to me to make sure i got those things fixed in my apartment. The walls are super thin and you can literally hear right through them I suggest not moving here & to always look at your apartment before signing the lease!
Do not! I repeat do not move to these trust me you can do better! Me and my girlfriend regret moving here, since the day we moved here. They are not organized in the office, and it seemed like it's always something that they're trying to charge extra for, it's a bunch of riddle me this and riddle me that, while at the same time we having problems in our apartment. Toilets don't work right, there's been problems with our sink faucet, just anything you can think about and recently we had to go the day before Christmas Eve all the way up into New Year's day without water, and right now as we speak our hot water is literally off at this very moment, while they just check our rent up again, and I'm sitting here right now have to work today and can't even take a shower, it's always something wrong here, and if possible I will be trying my best to get up out of here soon as I can!!!! I don't recommend anyone to move over here if you can help it, there are much better complexes.
During my time here I have noticed a few things! The staff at bridges of cypress creek do care about the residents. I have witness the property manager taking off running to an apt after a resident called about smoke. Vicky first response was the safety of the residents. It was only a heater being turned on and burning off the dust. I have seen and witness what this team does. Even though we ending things off in a not so good way, Vicky has taken the time to help me even when she is not even obligated to. So everyone should take the time to stop by and Thank them for everything they do. Also thank the Juan and the Maint team. They work hard everyday keeping the grounds clean and getting the apts turned. So before anyone gives a bad review please take a look at the people who work there. They do care and will help you if you ask for it.

This apartments are horrible!! They Take weeks to fix the things in your home! I got pest control to come once a week and still had bugs! The floor is uneven, the paint is coming up from the tub and sink. The people who work there are very rude

Everytime me or a guest parks in the apartments the car gets filled with ants and it could be no food, then the apartment has had a rat infestation and also the same with roaches!i had to pay 325$ for a exterminator and he caught one and left traps and I heard two die and still saw one after he left, right now I’m not sure if their still here or not but I do know I have a baby and this has not been the best experience.

Me & my roommate have been here for almost a year; there are quite a few problems we cant overlook. We arent continuing our lease again this following year & finding some place else to live if we dont see any improvements in the next 4 months. -Dumpsters- other residents arent putting their trash inside the dumpster but leaving beside them even when its not full. They dont have anyone picking up trash in the parking lot. I find used diapers, pregnancy tests, kid's homework & kitchen trash just laying on the middle of the driveways & in parking spots. Some neighbors have no decency to maintain peace & honk their horns maliciously. My neighbors scream at each other daily & can be heard through the walls & even sometimes they yell at each other outside. -They dont seem to maintain ANYTHING! The dog park gate doesnt latch, wired/wood fences are beaten up & worn, there's not much grass anywhere just weeds & dirt. They blow the leaves after they trim the bushes back into people's porches. The gates always sticking because they are OLD & just painted black but super rusted. If you like night strolls, this is not the place to feel comfortable doing so. A few nights we were chased by loose dogs & never the same ones. My guests are afraid to come back because at some point they've been chased into their car & its never the same dog. No peace of mind/safety. There are a few that are but not everyone is a dog person but the office & management have done nothing to ensure dogs stay on leashes here. The pavement & sidewalks are all uneven & water pools everywhere- hard to avoid or even walk around the puddles. If you have stairs there is no railing to protect a child or even an adult from falling sideways & that's a safety issue. Most of the power outlets are very loose & whatever I plug in there just falls out with any movement. -There are rodents in the kitchen cabinets because I keep finding droppings & marks they've been chewing inside the cabinets & drawers. This was discovered the 2nd week we've been living here. Brought it up to the office & nothing was done about it. I find these droppings & insects everywhere outside areas: spiders, roaches & ants. Inside we dont see insects much-around the property we do. No assigned parking. No signs where guests need to park & our neighbors have people come over & park very close to our apartment.... which most places Ive visited have guest parking marked in the outer perimeter.
Ive been with this complex for less than a year and my wife and I both want to move. Not because the property is bad or management is faulty. But this is literally the definition of "you get what you pay for" when it comes to the area. At the time of this post (2/7/19 at 530pm) there has been 1 murder, several reported car break ins and just today on 1960@ella a gentleman was shot in the head. Granted, none of this has anything to do with the property( as far as I know) and I'm not trash talking the property. If youre looking for a cheap and (mostly) quiet place then this place is a good fit. But do consider the area itself as it continues to go down hill. I do give credit to the team they have here, including security as they are quick to fix issues you may be having at the complex but that is not enough for me to stay if I dont have to.

I lived there in 2007 and those apartments are cursed bad vibes. At night see through writtings in my bedroom looked like diabolic writing. Plus a girl got murdered and bbq by her boy friend in that area. Bad experience
I moved into The Bridges of Cypress Creek on February 1, 2016, and moved out February 1, 2017, as a result of a job loss and changes in my financial situation. I discovered this complex a year before I moved in. I got to meet Ms. Claudia and Sergio in 2015, during my tour and they were such great people from the moment I met them until the moment I moved out. The bridges of Cypress Creek was my first apartment after graduating college and I would've loved to stay there for much longer. It was truly difficult moving out after just a year because this complex truly felt like home. The staff was consistent during my entire stay. Anything that I ever needed during my stay they would go above and beyond to accommodate me. Management staff, maintenance team, postal service man, everyone that stepped on the property were great. I lived on the first floor and never had any problems with roaches or insects, and pest control was always available just in case I did. Open parking for residence and guest so I never had an issue with parking. The complex was pretty quiet all day and I know this because I worked from home. The pool was clean during the summer time and hours were open for use. There is really nothing that I can think of that makes this complex a bad choice... Nothing! Great Staff, Caring Staff, Consistent Staff, Clean appearance, Clean units, Address Concerns... Everything! Even after moving out MS. Claudia still responds to my emails with great urgency and attentiveness and you can't pay for this type of service even if you wanted to at some places. In My opinion there's really no need to compare the Bridges of Cypress Creek to any other complex because they're great! No comparison needed! Thank you to everyone at the Bridges of CYpress Creek for being apart of my amazing experience and year there!
Formerly The Villages of Red Oak, the best thing here is price. The place is old and it shows despite a new paint job. There are roaches, the pavement is a disaster, and three buildings have burned down over the past few years (one was arson, but regardless of cause newer apartments are likely more fire safe). The group that took over and changed the name of the place about 3 years ago promptly renovated the main office and empty units, but made none for current residents outside of exterior paint and adding Xfinity hook ups. Despite "substantial renovations" being advertised, the unit you end up getting may not be the freshest. Staff is so-so. You have to stay on top of them. They have a professional and polite demeanor, but are too often slack in doing the actual work. Service requests will sometimes be marked complete despite not being resolved. They withhold repairs of certain issues (carpet and tub repair chiefly) for lease renewal. They charge a monthly pest control fee for contracted exterminators, but can and do use their own staff to perform pest control. They can be slow in calculating the final bill for your rent so be careful paying early, even early in the day on the first of the month. There are $40-50 of extra fees each month so add that to the cost of the unit you're interested in. Amenities are run-of-the-mill. There are tennis courts but if you or your kids are more interested in playing other sports then you/they won't be able to do so here. The laundry facilities are cramped and have coin-op machines that sometimes don't dry thoroughly. The gates and doors in the fence surrounding the property are beat up and slow, but they work. Newer additions like grills and a fitness center are nice, but if you're working and this is your price range, you may not have the time and/or energy to make use of them and might prefer decent pavement or other basics instead. The Bridges is okay at best. The location and prices are fine, but if you can afford something newer, do so as no renovation short of gutting the buildings will bring this place up to the modernity found elsewhere. If you're just getting by you should look around, as there are cheaper places of similar age and amenities where you won't have upwards of $40 in fees and where the pavement won't add wear on your car. No matter what you can afford you should comparison shop before settling on this place. The rates will continue to climb and the buildings will continue to age.
I've been living hear for 3 years. I love the new management and the upgrades of the apartment.
I would like to say that even though my apartment complex was built in the 60's It doesn't look like it. The upkeep on these building have been amazing compared to some I have seen in the past. Our staff are full of wonderful and friendly people who try their best to stick by there word. Our maintenance people are quick to respond with pleasant disposition, They do more than what's expected of them and i'm grateful for that. we've switched management within the time I've been here and the new crew are very informative, They stay on top of business whether big or small. You don't get that everywhere you go. They understand the loyalty and the importance of building a good and trustworthy relationship with their residences. Even when mishaps occur as any apartment does, they make sure they compensate fairly. In my book Their alright with me!!!
I have lived her for a year now. I renewed back in April. I am so impressed with the care the leasing staff and owner of the property has for these apartments. I witnessed both buildings burning down. They were caused by resident error. How cool that the owner is taking the insurance money and actually rebuilding instead of taking the money and run. I have read the other reviews, and honestly I have never had an issue with maintenance. When my AC started blowing hot air this summer, I submitted my ticket and maintenance was out the very next day. I have not had an issue since. I have seen a roach here and there. I have lived in Houston for 7 yrs. They are all over. All I know is from personal experience that staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. I guess you just cannot please everyone all of the time. I would recommend this place.
I have been living here for 8 months, I have not had any issues. Any maintenance work is always done in a timely manner. I love that I can pay my rent online and it doesn't charge me any extra fees. It seems pretty quiet especially at night, there are not people hanging around outside the apartment. I don't have any complaints in regards to these apartments.
Worse location to be stuck in a lease. Other than the fact that this is a high crime area, Two fires here in less than a year. Roach infested, and the maintenance staff acts as if they don't want to be there when they do show up. It took 4days to get my a/c fixed and it still doesn't work properly. I was not planning on renewing my lease, but due to financial issues at the time had no choice, and I was refused a 6 month, they only had a year available.
The apartment complex is wonderful- run by friendly helpful great people willing to help you whenever you need help. The apartment is lovely and has many amenities and lovely location and surroundings.
