Uptown Portland is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Portland. The lively community spirit serves as a consistent draw for the neighborhood in addition to its unique historic charm and central locale. A broad mix of eclectic local businesses provides residents with tasty eats and entertainment options while quiet residential streets create a pleasant, small-town vibe.
Located just northwest of Downtown Portland and the popular Pearl District, Uptown Portland is a top choice for those seeking a short commute. Most spots in the neighborhood's residential areas are less than three miles from downtown, making a quick trip by bike or public transportation feasible.
Along with being close to downtown, the neighborhood has plenty of its own charms. Uptown Portland is often nicknamed Nob Hill, a nod to the upscale neighborhood in San Francisco.

Property Ratings at Bridgetown Lofts
The elevators have been on the blink for several months and there is an intermittent alarm sounding that supposedly cannot be turned off. Even though it's not coming from the elevators, it's coming from the main lobby. The parking garage door was damaged and it took an entire month to get it fixed. Management flat out refused to reduce the fee for the month even though the parking was not secure and cars were vandalized. The outside lights are always missing bulbs. I haven't seen the fountain on since I've lived here. So many little things that are not good.
It’s really disheartening to have to write this review but I wish I had known prior to moving into this complex. We have lived here 2.5 years. Our storage unit got broken into 3 times and our vehicle has been broken into 2 times. Thousands of dollars later, the complex continues to refuse to do anything to protect its residents and at this point it is negligence. They told us they are not required to provide footage to the police and it was a courtesy they were doing so. If you are thinking about living here I would pursue other complexes that offer more security and are responsive to complaints by residents.
We had an amazing experience living at Bridgetown. Tiffany and Cristina in the office are very accessible and helpful with all inquiries. Super dog friendly, amazing location, great amenities.
I moved into Bridgetown Lofts in December of 2018. So far, I have nothing but total love for my new apartment. I have literally nothing to complain about; I haven't, so far, had to make any maintenance requests or experienced any hassle with the management. I actually rented the place sight unseen-- I was moving from far away and couldn't visit. Tiffany (in particular) made that process easy, she sent me so many helpful pictures and gave me confidence that I was making the right choice. I have never lived in a better place!!
My pup and I relocated from Michigan to Portland for work recently and I cannot be any happier with Bridgetown Lofts! I toured about 8 or 9 different apartment complexes on my initial visit to Portland and was blown away by the amazing customer service, competitive prices, and amenities Bridgetown offers. Daniel and Maureen are amazing to deal with. Both making my cross country move less stressful and reassuring that I chose the right place to live. This is a brand new building located less than a mile from the heart of the Pearl District. Beautiful apartments (some with awesome, polished concrete floors). Extremely pet friendly with a breath taking rooftop and view of the Fremont Bridge. Being so close to the bridge was a concern due to the noise but inside the building and my apartment, I don't even notice. I highly recommend Bridgetown Lofts and love coming home every day!
