Property Ratings at Bridgeview
I didn’t see any recent reviews so I thought I would chime in. I was extremely hesitant renting here based off of some of the reviews I’d have read on various sites. Ultimately, I decided to take a chance and very glad I did. In my little over two years I cannot think of any major problems. Maintenance was top notch. My dishwasher stopped working and was replaced within a business day. The washing machine agitator wasn’t working and I received a new machine the following day. Asked the maintenance manager for some paint that wasn’t flat for the wall across from the kitchen, he dropped off a gallon. Needed to borrow a ladder to hang curtains - it was dropped off same day. Friendly, professional, schedule accommodating.. The common areas and pool (no additional cost to use) were always clean. The refuse room was looked after daily. No bugs or rodents, ever. No problems with neighbours. The neighbourhood was fine. I worked an awkward night shift schedule for a while and never was worried about safety. I believe there was a catalytic converter theft once in the parking lot one night. The management team provided tickets to baseball and hockey games at no additional cost. They would also have donuts and coffee from time to time. There’s an annual Christmas party with lots of food, drinks and door prizes. It was always a welcome and friendly environment. Communication was clear, concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The only negatives I can think of- I could hear my shared wall neighbour’s TV, along with people talking as they passed by in the hallway. The traffic on the bridge can be loud, be it emergency vehicles or modified exhausts. The one elevator was out of commission for over a month while a part was on order but after being fixed, I don’t recall it being down. With a wall full of windows I highly recommend installing insulated curtains. The parking lot - unfortunately other residents are not always careful. My brand new car was scratched and dinged up. Water is billed monthly - it isn’t billed on actual usage but estimated based on the apartment size and number of occupants. Wasn’t a fan. There’s also a $5 fee from the company they use for this. No way to avoid it. They pass their liability insurance expense onto the tenants by charging an additional $10 a month. The biggest downside is the 10% rent increase written into the first year lease. That was a hard pill to swallow and ultimately why I made the decision to leave.

We're thrilled that you're enjoying the open floor plan layouts that Bridgeview offers! Stay warm and have a fantastic weekend!
I will begin with the reason why I decided to write a review, as this is not generally something that I do. I was relocated due to a promotion via my company, and that process was horrendous. My company attempted several times to contact Tracey who responded initially but then stopped. It was at the point where my company was attempting to resolve the lease break payment where she stopped responding. My company again attempted to get a response several times with no avail. I stopped getting emails from my company attempting to resolve this and had received no calls or emails from Bridgeview apartments regarding this as well, so I assumed this was completed. However, in November I received a call from a debt collector that I was turned over to by Bridgeview apartments, for this outstanding debt. I contacted my company to figure out what happened here, and they said that they could not get a response from Tracey despite trying their best efforts. So, I had to pay out of pocket, and my credit score is potentially affected due to the lack of response from them. I even attempted to get in contact with Tracey myself to attempt to pay the debt without the collector being involved, and of course, I had not received a response. Needless to say, I would have never rented here if I knew it would turn out this way. In terms of my issues with the actual rental it is not in a good area at all. My car was broken into, and by front bumper was stolen. I had also seen broken window glass on the ground on several occasions, implying that I am not the only one. Also saw a Honda Accord on bricks with all the rims taken off. After my event, I looked to get the garage parking, I was initially told that I would be eligible after a couple of months, which I was okay with, however I never heard back my last 6 months there, which left a bad taste in my mouth. Also, it is loud. The cars passing over the bridge adjacent to permeate very loudly, and you can hear people yelling and playing music outside at all hours of the night. I have had many sleepless nights there. Also, the elevator was not working pretty much every other day. In fact, my move out day, it was broken, and I had to move everything down the stairs from the third floor. king to move into the area is to avoid this place and look elsewhere to avoid the issues that I have experienced.
I recently moved in to Bridgeview Apartments and I am amazed. I have a beautiful upgraded one-bedroom apartment with an awesome view and a perfect balcony (can't wait till Spring and Summer!). The resident lounge and gymnasium are just perfect. There is also a swimming pool and a tennis court, indoor parking space wow. The community is great, staff and maintenance are very very friendly and helpful. It feels lile living un a hotel with many free amenities.

Everything is awesome from the staff to the apartments and maintenance is always responsive. There's a community center with a pool table and 2 flatscreen TVs which is also rentable for parties. There's a pool and nicely landscaped facility. Bedrooms are large only drawback is kitchen is small and apartments are drafty. The community of people are friendly and helpful. And we always feel safe and secure.

I'm so very happy my boyfriend an I choose Bridgeview apartments. It's like being on vacation and never having to go home. The view is is mouth watering. Living at Bridgeview is like being in Paradise, it's very quiet, very spacious, everyone is very friendly. Maintenance is a plus. Tracey and Dennis are just awesome!!! We have only lived at Bridgeview for a week,an I have lived in Allentown since June of 1994 and living here has made me really appreciate Allentown and that is because of the marlovous view an oversized windows. I have everything I need in my apartment meaning a dishwasher, garbage disposal, washer and dryer, nice large size bedroom, dining room, loving large living room, and to top it off a beautiful size bacony. So come on to Bridgeview Apartments and make them your home home today, I promise you, you won't regret choosing Bridgeview apartments, my boyfriend an I didn't. We plan on staying here for some years. Thank you to the staff of Bridgeview we love our new home!!!
I've been looking for apartment online as I just recently moved from Europe. It was a huge problem to get accepted at any place. Tracy was very helpful and did huge volume of work for me: she tool pictures of my future apartment and sent them to me, I signed lease contract online and the same day I came from Europe my apartment was ready to move in. Very nice complex, a lot of benefits: gym, pool, huge parking lot, security system, excellent renovated apartments and great prices! I strongly recommend this complex.

Thank you for the recommendation! We're so happy Tracy was able to help you find your new home in our community. We hope you'll be happy at Bridgeview for many years to come.
Dennis and Tracy are the easiest of people to work with and made my experience as a first-time renter extremely easy. I visited my apartment on a Thursday, after discovering it on this website and moved in on Saturday after working diligently with Dennis and Tracy to get all of the paperwork done before starting a new job in the area. In my time on the premise, I can say that it is thoroughly well kept by management and grounds crew. I love my apartment, it is beyond spacious and really enjoyable. The natural lighting from the sun adds a unique beauty to the apartment that I didn't find in any other places that I looked prior to finding Bridgeview. I really love the high ceilings and the balcony. I got everything I could have asked for and more in my apartment at Bridgeview. I would defineitely recommend anyone looking to move to the area to take a look at this property, you will not be disappionted!!!

I've been living at Bridgeview for just over a month and I love it. The complex is always very clean. I was skeptical at first about the part of the neighborhood it was in, but I haven't had any problems. I feel safe leaving my car in the lot every night. I would recommend Bridgeview Apartments to anyone.

Thank you for the review! We are so happy you enjoy living at Bridgeview. We hope you will be happy in your apartment for years to come.
I've only been living here at Bridgeview since 10/01/15 but so far it's been an amazing experience. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable; nice and quiet on the 4th floor. I have an amazing view of South Mountain from my balcony. The building staff here is awesome as well Tracy and Dennis in the leasing/property office are super friendly and helpful. And this is the only apartment I've lived in that has a cleaning service maintaining the public areas. The amenities here are plentiful and are included in the rent as are really helpful and spacious storage lockers. I even scored an indoor garage parking spot on my first day here! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable and hip apartment in the Lehigh Valley
So far I am very happy with the bridgeview apartment. I just moved in 2 weeks ago. it's very spacious. all new appliances, quiet on the 4th floor. nice balcony for some fresh air, nice amenities including a small gym, community room, tennis and basketball courts. just outside of downtown Allentown. just a walk across the 8th street bridge.
Bridgeview offers excellent amenities, quality staff interaction, and amazing pricing for (in my opinion) the best spot in Allentown. Garage parking is available, large balconies on most units, relatively new washers and driers... Maintenance is responsive and friendly as is the management staff. Overall, I have no complaints about this building / unit and don't see moving until the purchase of my next home... Some aspects of the unit are a bit outdated and in need of an update but the flexibility of the property team and all the other pros offset this for me.
I've lived here for over 8 years and am very happy. The other reviews and pictures accurately depict the apartments. What I always want to know from these reviews are the quirks. Every place has quirks. So, good and bad, here goes: In all the places I've rented, the most important thing has been the landlord. Scully Company owns Bridgeview and seems consistently committed to making residents happy (but they are also a business interested in controlling costs). The current management and maintenance staff (they've all been here for years) are spectacular. There are few problems, but when something goes wrong Ron, Bob, Tracy, and Dennis go out of their way to help. Kind and professional. Everything is well maintained, clean. It's always been a quiet building in my experience. I guess the walls are thick enough (I'm never entirely sure if anyone lives in the unit next door; people come and go). Large rooms, floor to ceiling windows in the living rooms of most units. The rent (even with cat fees) is reasonable, highly competitive for the area. I live in a 2 bedroom top floor corner apartment (bad choice insulation-wise; there's pros and cons to the windows). I chose a more expensive electricity supplier (for wind power). My year round fixed electricity cost each month is $100. With plenty of advance notice, they come in and do smoke alarm inspections and replace air filters once per year. Scully requires you to have renter's insurance and they have to be listed on your policy. These aren't "luxury apartment homes" - e.g., the appliances are up-to-date but basic models, the carpet is standard issue apartment rental beige, etc. The immediate neighborhood is businesses (warehouses) on one side and residential on the other. If you want leafy tree lined streets to take walks on in the evenings, you are out of luck here. That being said, there are trees lining the parking lots and they plant flowers. The city is slow on snow removal on Harrison St in the winter (but Bridgeview is great in the parking lots). Allentown water is hard water and I wouldn't mind a smidge more water pressure in the shower, but it's okay. That's the scoop!
LOVE LOVE LOVE , my apartment , it is very spacious and quiet especically fot being in the city. the company is alway remodling to keep up with the current trends. Great gym that has 24 hr access. tennis court, basketball court and a pool. You cant go wrong living here. So close to everything.
Bridgeview is a very nice complex to live in. The appliances are up to date. The property is always very clean. All of the staff are very helpful and kind. Any issues you may have are immediately taken care of. I really like that security patrols the property in the evening. It is a wonderful place to call home
This is my second time back at Bridgeview and only returned due to how we are treated. They are very prompt at getting things done along with a follow up call about the service. They treat the community great. I walk out to work a few months ago and staff has a bagged healthy breakfast waiting at the door. Just a wonderful place a safe place to live. I'd recommend it to anyone. Family oriented.
I have been living at this place for the last 4 months. It is an excellent place, good community and very close to Lehigh valley mall.
I recently went through a breakup that required me to find a new place to live on short notice. I had a list of requirements as I searched, but with time being a factor, I was willing to adjust my needs. Well, Bridgeview checked every box on the list. Reasonable rent, washer/dryer in unit, central air, garage, pool, fitness center, and a patio. The complex is located less than a mile from the PPL Center, an up-and-coming area of Allentown, with many restaurants and attractions. But Allentown, like many cities, has some unsavory areas, Bridgeview is situated well away from those areas. The building itself is well made. Concrete between the floors means that I never hear my upstairs neighbors, but somewhat thin walls means that I can occasionally hear shouting from nearby. But it's still significantly quieter than other places I've lived. They are also in the process of renovating, putting down new carpets and wood floors, finishing up a beautiful community room, and upgrading the fitness center. There isn't any noise from the work, but it really helps to make you feel like you're in a building that cares. Everything is replaced before it even has a chance to look run down. The Community Manager, Dennis, and Leasing Manager, Tracy are wonderful, friendly people who want to make you feel welcome. I had a problem with my air conditioning, and with this summer being so hot, it was a major concern. The on-site head of maintenance, Ron, tried several methods to fix the system, ultimately calling in an HVAC expert to look everything over. In all, it took a little while to resolve, but not for lack of trying. Every time the system went down, Ron was there first thing to try to fix it. My apartment specifically is in excellent shape, considering the age of the building. I moved in with new carpeting, flooring, a new stove, and ceiling fan. The move-in inspection was thorough, with Tracy even pointing out and listing some very minor things that I missed, such as a small chip in the porcelain of the sink. Overall, I feel very safe and at home here. The rent is more than reasonable, the staff is the height of professional, and the amenities are many. This is a good place to be.
