Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward district is a fascinating and architecturally impressive commercial, arts, and residential area with a wealth of creative businesses and artists. Located at the mouth of the Milwaukee river, this former warehouse district has become a booming mixed-use area with a lot of charm.
Located just south of downtown, the Historic Third Ward is on a short peninsula wedged between the convergence of the Milwaukee and Kinnickinnick rivers into Lake Michigan and is adjacent to Milwaukee's famous Summerfest grounds.
The neighborhood is home to award-winning restaurants, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, dozens of galleries, and unique specialty stores. In 2005, the Milwaukee Public Market opened its doors, showcasing dozens of vendors and artisan culinary specialists.

Property Ratings at Bridgeview at South Water Works
Absolutely spectacular place to live in the Third Ward. Beautiful property with many amenities and fantastic management company that is quick to respond to any questions or concerns! Highly recommend for anyone looking to live in the Third Ward without paying an absurd amount in rent.
Super helpful and prompt maintenance. Clean and well kept building. I feel really safe too!
Great place to live! Quiet units (could never hear people above or next to me), clean, lots of amenities (large gym, amazing roof top, large event space available), clean!, and friendly management that is super responsive and helpful. I’ve actually lived here 2 time, first was for 2 years, then when I moved back to MKE was luck they had a unit available and spend another 3 years here. They also take safety and security serious, gates parking lot and key fob package room. If you’re looking for a place downtown in the Walker Point/ 3rd Ward area, you will not be able to find a place as great as Bridgeview
I lived at Bridgeview for a little over 2 years, and highly recommend it! The location is fantastic, near many good restaurants/bars in Third Ward and Walker's Point. It's also a 5 minute walk to Summerfest and Lakeshore State Park. The apartments are very nice, good size, with high ceilings and updated appliances. The property manager, Jori, is extremely friendly and responsive to tenant requests. The fitness center was really nice to have, they recently added a Peloton bike! If you have a dog, it's also great place to live as there are many other dogs in the neighborhood and there's a large area to take the dogs outside. While it is in an exciting area of Milwaukee, I never had issues with noise. I really don't have enough good things to say about Bridgeview!
My girlfriend and I lived here for about 15 months, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Extremely close to the 3rd ward with many nearby restaurants and bars to explore. The amenities (community room, gym, work center) are all great additions and we used all of them. We hosted a Christmas party in the community room for 30+ people and it was a huge hit. Management and maintenance were very helpful and were very prompt in all responses. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!
Place is great. 2 bed 2 bath. 1300 sq ft. bedrooms on opposite sides of apartment. balcony. rooftop access. (small) workout room. only negative is the construction which can be heard all morning and thorughout day, but that is not the apartments fault.
