Don’t waste your time. I put in an application in the beginning of the week and received an email to complete the next steps. I did so right away and didn’t hear anything back after a couple days. I called and no matter how many times you try they never answer their lines. I sent an email and was told it’s very busy so it’s difficult to reply but I should get an answer back by end of week Friday of the status. Friday came and went and I got nothing. I called the next week, nothing, emailed again, nothing. Couple more days pass and finally I get a reply with the same answer that they’re so busy but needed more info. I provided it right away and got nothing again for another couple more days. Finally I was fed up and explained that due to the lack of communication I wanted to cancel my application but would reconsider if I finally get an answer of the status of my application. They finally say it’s approved and needed to specify a date. I gave the info right away and again, no reply. I called end of that day and was told Monday I would get my lease agreement. Monday came, nothing. I called and emailed again and as usual NOTHING! It’s now Wednesday and I didn’t even bother trying anymore and sent an email to cancel my application. If they’re too busy to just complete a lease agreement then imagine how busy they’ll be if something actually does happen when I move in and have any problems I need fixed in the apartment. I’m upset that I wasted money on an application that I won’t get back all because no one in the office can communicate or help. Hopefully this helps anyone else considering to apply. Don’t lose your money like I did.

Trash in parking lots and around buildings, gates always stop working leaving you locked out of the entire complex, rent payments get messed up, extra fees charged that never get repaid, maintenance requests get marked completed but never fixed and you get ignored, office staff are easily agitated, rude and will ignore you. Cheap place to live, but you pay in other ways.

I moved out 3 months ago and they still haven't returned my security deposit. I called and emailed multiple times with no answer. I even sent a certified letter. Nothing!! Throughout the 3 years that I lived there, the office hardly answered the phone, wildlife swam in the pools, the gate broke often, and multiple follow-ups were required for getting a response from maintenance (they didn't even answer the emergency line April 15-16, 2023). Richard, the head of maintenance, is a delightful human but Bridgewater needs to hire several more people to help him. I would not recommend Bridgewater to anyone.

I've been without AC for almost two weeks. You have to hunt maintenance down for them to answer request. My sink in the kitchen has been leaking since Oct. I called emergency maintenance and the VM was full. I have to wait an additional day for someone to snake my toilet because it is not flushing completely. There is no organization, no clear communication and clearly not enough equipment if maintenance has to wait for a plumber for a simple toilet augar snake.

Maintenance requests are completely ignored yet marked as completed on their website. While the apartments may look nice from the outside, be aware if anything goes wrong, you are on your own.

Beautiful place to live! We have lived here since November & love it! The maintenance people are quick to respond & Bradley has always been helpful! Grounds are well kept.
If you have any excitement about viewing this property, save the excitement. This property was my first choice I was ready to move forward with the process, however the leasing manager Brian acted as If I was inconveniencing him about viewing the property, he didn't really speak, he stood like a statue and stared off like please dont ask me anything. I was told by someone else who also had the same experience. He definitely showed me how issues would be resolved if I lived there.
Bat and trash problems are severe. There is a crime epidemic with car break-ins so severe that the posted a warning on all residents doors. You are not allowed to do laundry until 9am daily, so if you’re a hard working individual who works 9-5 getting that laundry done before work is a no go. Residents are so micromanaged and if you have a noise complaint for said laundry it is a $100.00 fine each time. I once thought this complex was affordable for Saint Petersburg, however the fines can add up due to poorly built and ran structures.
I moved in here recently and have worked a lot with Brian since the beginning. He's always been on top of things and helpful whenever I need anything. I looked at several different apartment complexes and his great customer service was honestly part of the reason I ended up deciding to sign a lease here. Brian should definitely be property manager at Bridgewater!

On the surface these apartments look great but they have one maintenance guy working for two apartment complexes. They can't seem to get anyone else to stay or to accept a position which says they are not willing to pay more or give added perks to their staff here. They really need to do better with managing the property and hiring enough workers to care for the property. It took two weeks for maintenance to come and treat a significant mold problem in my apartment.
It is amazing here! The people are friendly, you can have up to two pets, you have access to a pool, and a hot tub.
This is the second apartment that my fiancé and I have rented and I don't think I ever want to leave. Their leasing staff were extremely helpful and not at all pushy. She told us everything we needed to sign the lease upfront with detail and helped get things we were not sure about together. Their apartments are very spacious and reasonably priced. We have the freedom to remodel if we wish, nothing too drastic though, and not have to worry about changing it back. This means if we wanted to paint every room a different color we could. Their maintenance staff is efficient and accurate. They've taken care of any problem we've had within 24 hours even when our air conditioning went out. The amazing staff keeps the grounds looking wonderful,always perfectly tended,that we are proud to show family and friends our neighborhood. They have gated access and nightly security which always made us feel safer. Our neighbors are friendly and welcoming, a comfort I am happy about growing up in a place where everyone said hi even if you were strangers. The amenities are great, washer and dryer hookups. They have a workout room, 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis and tennis courts. This is a place were we plan on staying until we decide on our first house.
If you love the downtown area, but are not into living exactly in the city, then this is perfect. You are close to the interstate to head towards downtown. Drive time is about 10-15 mins. You are also right before the bridge heading towards Tampa, which gives you easy access to Tampa International Airport. The grounds are very well maintained, lawn care is done daily. There is access to two beautiful pools/patio areas, a fitness room, and outdoor barbecue stations. You get the quiet family community with a mix of St. Petersburg culture.
