Bridgewater, also known as Bridgewater Township, is the ideal suburb for families or New York City commuters. Located about 45 miles west of the Big Apple, residents can either take Interstate 78 into the city or make use of public transportation. Bridgewater is split between a convenient commercial area and sprawling residential neighborhoods featuring wooded streets and a blend of cozy and upscale apartments, houses, condos, and townhomes.
Bridgewater’s commercial center features the popular Bridgewater Commons that’s home to an array of theaters, retailers, services, and eateries. North Brand Park, Washington Valley Park, and Green Knoll Golf Course are just a few of the spots for outdoor recreation, and kids love the Kidstreet Playground and Children’s Museum. For more dining, shopping, and entertainment options, residents of Bridgewater can easily visit the city of Somerville, located directly south of Bridgewater Commons.

Property Ratings at Bridgewater Square, One Month Free
I have been living here in Bridgewater Square for two years. Excellent community, great apartments, very close to business, shopping and dining, ample parking, well equipped fitness center, play area for the kids. Thank you Management Team for making me feel great about my decision to be here in Bridgewater Square.
Loveee to walk around and go on jogs in the nice scenery, and I feel very safe in this area. Management deals with any issues and keeps up maintenance. Overall pretty satisfied
I have been a resident here for over a year now, and it has been a pleasant stay so far. Anyone looking to rent here, please think about these pros and cons: Pros: 1. Wonderful and professional office staff (Mike, the manager and Kathy, assistant manager) and very good maintenance staff (Carlos and Carlos). Mike takes good care of the residents and Kathy is very friendly, especially with kids. 2. This location has easy access to 78,22 and 287 and is right on 202/206. 3. Apartments are almost brand new, built last year. We lived here during Sandy and it was cozy inside although without power for 6 days. (Good insulation) 4. This community is kept clean and is well-maintained at all times. The gym is free right now and so is the use of club-house. 5. Secured buildings means no unwanted visitors/ solicitations. Cons: 1. Utilities are kind of high. 2. Storage/closet space is limited in some units, especially first floor units. 3. No garages. No reserved parking. (However, there is enough parking for everyone) This is a family friendly community with lots of kids. Residents are treated with respect. My family has enjoyed some really good times here.
