Property Ratings at Bridlewood Apartments
I moved into Bridlewood about a year ago, the leasing staff in the office is super nice and the maintenance guys are awesome. I had a tub drain issue and one of the men came out immediately and fixed it. It is a little pricey to live here, but everywhere is expensive these days. The pool is absolutely stunning and is a reason to move in here alone. I do not plan on leaving Bridlewood anytime soon.
A new group now runs Bridlewood. So sad when Susan and team left! She was amazing. Some of the maintenance guys stayed but not all. It took the new group a while to do ANYtHiNG. Went the entire summer with no online options for maintenance or paying rent. They claimed July and it ended up being September till something was set up. The pool turned green and didn’t open till halfway through the summer. It wasn’t until the end of the summer did the new management group running it bothered to do a meet and greet. I still don’t know a name for anyone at the front office. All the communication just signs off with the company’s name. No new leases distributed just that it carried over from the previous owners is what we were told which seems a bit odd. They finally got someone in cleaning the main entry way but I have not seen anyone clean the hallways. Bridlewood normally has a homey-vibe people are very nice. I think everyone is just frustrated with the lack of communication and/or how long it takes them to handle something. It’s starting to get better but some of the new people that moved in are noisy. I’ve noticed lots moving out this fall. Very loud over the summer on balconies until 1am. I’ve lived here for three years and never had noise problems until this year. Still washers and dryers sometimes on fritz. After three of issues years here, maybe get new ones? Or something else is clearly wrong if it’s not the machines. Rent does always go up every year with no additional perks or upgrades. Debating on moving once my lease is up. I hate to go because I love the location but I want to explore other options. I really wish Bridlewood would allow dogs That would help my decision to stay. The townhomes that the old company used to manage behind us allows dogs and they have no access to any of our amenities. Bridlewood allow so many cats. I cannot go through another pandemic without a pet and I’m allergic to cats. Sad to leave but seriously considering it
This place and its management will completely disregard any concern you have about the building. It is dirty and dysfunctional. The whole building is shaking when people run on the treadmills. I.e. avoid the gym area. The laundry machines are often broken, or they will use up your money and won't work. The management will accuse you of harassing them if you go to their office to report anything. If you try to call the office, it will go to a voicemail and you will never hear back. Utter disaster. This is not a home; it is a zoo. I am into my 7th month here and I am looking into breaking my lease.
Increases rent every renew of lease, upkeep is decent, hallways are maintained in a minimal fashion. Water is off almost every other week. Located right next to a street that is often loud during the summer as bikers pass through here. Strict rules in the pool with only being able to bring ONE GUEST. Only reason this is getting 1 Star is because Susan in management is great, aside from that, this place charges you for the title of “luxury apartments” but doesn’t live up to the promise IN THE SLIGHTEST.

Have a great day! - Your Bridlewood Team
My wife and I have been living at Bridlewood for the past 4 years, and now we are raising our daughter here, as well. The management is readily available if we have any issues, and the staff are not only professional but also personable. We love the regular gatherings and freebies they offer to appreciate the residents! It is close to many major establishments (restaurants, retail, grocery) and also right on the bike route to the Cleveland Metro Parks. It is a fairly quiet community, so we haven't had any major issues with loud noise or other disturbances. The appliances are sufficient and work well. The amenities are super and up-to-date, especially the laundry and fitness rooms. I only wish they were 24/7 rooms! We are not looking forward to moving when we expand our family, as they only have a maximum of 2 bedrooms.
The listing will tell you everything about the property, location and amenities but these are some of the things that make it the best place to live: Unbelievably quiet apartments Immaculate building and grounds Laundry room with washers/dryers that use a preloaded card instead of cash. The room is air conditioned and has a utility sink, large folding table and has a pop machine and chairs Security system that qualifies Bridlewood as a "secure building" which qualifies for a rate reduction on renter's insurance Heat is provided which makes the monthly utility bills extremely low Trash compactor on every floor Two-level parking garage that is climate controlled and has a car- washing station on the lower level All incoming packages are received at the office so nothing gets lost and no delivery people wander the building An activities coordinator and free parties for the tenants several times a year The building is filled with friendly neighbors of all ages and backgrounds It's what the listing doesn't tell you that separates it from other places to live.
NASA Glenn has hired many professors and students to come for 10 weeks summer projects, and housing for us in Fairview Park, North Olmsted, etc has been IMPOSSIBLE! Every place like this only allows 12 month leases, no short term 3-month or month-to-month, and the few Corporate or furnished place are all gone. We like others have made 100's of phone calls to be turned away, or only finding expensive extended stay motels in this area. So much for services!
