Property Ratings at Brier Creek Apartments
Every single floorboard squeaks or makes some kind of noise. I have to triple the tv volume if I don’t want to hear the person walking around above me and it’s pointless going to bed before them because I’ll just get woken up. Windows and sliding glass door are the thinnest single pane pos; chunks of ice builds up on the inside.
Correction: just another case of misrepresentation. The unit I was shown resembled the ones shown in pics on the website. New appliances, countertops, cabinets, and updated bathroom. The unit I moved into is probably the most outdated in this entire building. Nothing new aside from possibly the paint. The stove is prehistoric and the oven doesn't even have a window. So 3 weeks in and still not one response from management. I was told the unit I was moving into would include all the updates advertised. All lies. Big friggin surprise... Do yourself a favor and TRUST NO ONE. Especially when it comes to leasing agents. Super nice when attempting to get your app and deposit. Soon as that lease is signed you can kiss the rest of it buh'bye. I'll be posting negative reviews across the board and maybe then someone from this dump will respond. BBB will also be in touch. Thanks again!
I have being living here for almost two years. Just like anywhere, there are pros and cons of living here: Pros: 1. Quiet neighborhood. No crazy drivers playing music obnoxiously 2. Plenty of on site parking 3. Washer/dryer in unit 4. Rates are fair for the area 5. Neighbors are usually respectful, considerate, quiet, working age, or elderly 6. Office staff are friendly and helpful 7. Little to low crime. No break-ins, vandalisms 8. Car wash comes in handy in the summer 9. Underground parking is really nice during Minnesotan winters 10. Maintenance dita a good job of interior upkeep and responding to work order requests Cons a. The walls are thin so you can hear most of your neighbor's activities b. Maintenance can do a better job of grounds keep all season c. They don't plow during winter, which is a very frustrating.

We love living here but with the birth of our son we want to upgrade to a two bedroom unit. We hope to be able to stay at Brier Creek. It's affordable, quiet and close to the cities and everything else.
I am a new resident and I found the staff to be extremely helpful and accommodating. I called with several questions about my lease and they responded that day and were willing to work with me to find the right unit for my budget. They were responsive and extremely nice about it. I highly recommend working with them and am very excited to move into my new place!
The aparrnents are affordable, in a great location, quiet, nice porch to sit on during nice days
I moved into brier creek apartments with my cat on June 26, 2015 after paying pet deposit along with 5 days rent and damage deposit. I was told I couldn't pay July rent at the office on site and had a 5 day grace period before late fees would apply. I recieved my paycheck on Friday, July 3, 2015 and worked until 8:30 PM that evening. I drove to the realty office to drop off my payment but there was nobody there and no drop box. They were closed Saturday July 4, 2015. I went back on Monday July 6, 2015 and explained what happened and gave them my cashiers check dated July 3, 2015. On July 21, 2015 I received notice of late payment with additional charges added. They don't care what circumstances are when you're late you're late.
I love this place, and I have lived here since 2004. I highly recommend this complex.
