Established in the early 1900s, the Highland Park neighborhood features a mix of craftsman, Spanish revival, minimalist traditional, and English Tudor revival architectural styles among its apartments for rent. This revitalized San Antonio suburb gives residents easy access to the city's downtown area and famed Riverwalk four miles northwest via public transportation and Interstates 10 and 37.
Highland Park residents frequent the multiplex cinema and retail stores at the McCreless Corner Shopping Center nearby. Neighbors get together at Bode Community Center in the park that gives the community its name, Highland Park, which includes basketball and tennis courts, a walking trail, and a playground. When stomachs growl, locals go to Little Red Barn Steakhouse, a Western-style restaurant serving up in-house fresh cut steaks since 1963. Altogether, Highland Hills is a great place for your new home.

Property Ratings at Brigadoon Apartments
The management and living conditions here are the worst in the city. Don’t move here if you respect yourself because you’ll get nothing but disrespect here.
No bugs, clean, quiet and overall great! I have a studio and the prices are good for what you get maintenance takes like a week to get to you about work orders (so very fast and knowledgeable) appliances are a bit outdated but I make it work. Small details that could have been addressed before moving but overall great environment & management is great as well. Management always answers questions on the phone and in person. They are quite organized. I did not rate it 5 stars just cause of the surrounding area that is not in a good location & the “gated community” is not really true when the gate has not been closed since u moves in and it’s been more than half a year.
I love living at Brigadoon Apartment , its quite and clean property. Maintenance and leasing staff are very helpful , services are great. I would recommend frends and family to Brigadoon.
I've been living here for 4 years now, I have not had an issue with anything, the office staff is nice, the maintenance crew are nice , so far all my neighbors have been great there all friendly nice its quite. when ever i have an issue with something like the air unit its fixed the same day.
I did tons of research and visited multiple apartment complexes in the area. I was looking for something that I could call “home”. Well I came across The Brigadoon Apartments, and I instantly fell in love. The outside appearance is beautiful and very well kept. The pool is clean, the grass Is green and cut nicely; the paint on the buildings is not chipped and looks pleasant. When entering the leasing office, I was greeted by Mrs. Diana the leasing agent. She was extremely welcoming, and kind. I explained my needs, and price point. She then offered me a studio apartment, with no pressure to sign that day. But I was so in love; I signed my lease the same day; my original move in date was 6 weeks from that day. I expressed I needed something sooner if possible, and Diana kept me in mind and I moved in 4 weeks earlier than expected. I was very appreciative that she could do this for me. When I first walked into my studio apartment to move in, I was amazed. I had new carpet, a balcony, and beautiful cabinets. I love the open concept of the studio apartment, the best part for me is, I have a large kitchen area, and a large bathroom, which is rare for studio apartments. There's also tons lots of natural lighting, and NO ROACHES! I haven’t seen one roach in my apartment or wandering around outside. I am terrified of those water bugs! The pest control is definitely on point. Another plus is the parking. The way the parking works is, if you don’t live here, you must park on the fence line, which is awesome, because, I don’t have to fight for parking, or park far away from my apartment. I have the same parking spot every day and I can see my car from my balcony. Also, I`m a private person when it comes to neighbors, I stay casual and polite, and say hi and bye! My neighbors around me are the same way, which is perfect. It’s very quiet and there little to no nightlife here. I always feel safe, and I know there is a courtesy officer who lives in the complex if I ever needed the assistance. As far as maintenance goes, I put in one request but not because something was broken. I needed my light fixture to be brought up higher to the ceiling, because It was hanging too low, for my own personal liking. And maintenance completed my request in a timely manner and they left a work order on my counter, so I knew my request was completed and what time they entered my apartment. Sincerely, a leaseholder at The Brigadoon.
I just want to say that Andrew the maintenance man fixed everything in my apartment very quickly and sufficiently everything is working in my apartment now I really appreciate your kindness and your knowledge of repairing my balcony screen. Thank you Andrew keep up the good work !!!!!
The manger is no good they should give her some class"s how to talk to people, she think she is the owner.no class what so ever on being the manger.Where did they find this women.Brigadoom Apartment, it"s time to replace this women, before what ever good people you all have, move out. Don"t let this women tell u all that it"s the people acting bad with her.Look at all the ledy"s that work for her, or no longer working there. The Brigadoon Apartment"s or not a bad places to live, it"s the manger.
The people in the office (Cindy&Victoria) are always ready to help you on any problem you might have. The location can not be beat everything you could want is within walking distance. The clubhouse is unbelievable. The rental prices are very affordable.Great place to live.
This is a great property! The office staff is amazing and is there whenever you need them. The manager and staff treat their residents like family. I am a first time renter and they made it so easy for me. The staff walked me through the entire process and got me in my apartment with ease! The property is beautiful and the maintenance team is quick and effective! A very great place to call home!
I have lived in brigadoon apartments for bout 3 months now. Me experience was nothing short of great. I drove around the property to get a general overview of the property and cleanliness and i was happy to see no trash laying around. When i walked in the leasing office the ladies were very respectful and showed me a 1br apt. they are so friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing, clean and nice place to relax. I had needed a couple things fixed in my apt, and they were fixed fast. My neighbors are quiet, and i have no problems. I recommend this apartment complex to live in. I've lived in many complexes and I've had the best experience here.
