Property Ratings at Brighton Chase
DO NOT MOVE HERE They do not abide to their lease, and force you to stick out your lease despite them breaking the agreement on their end. This is not a trustworthy management team. We had a water leak in April which resulted in mold growing throughout our laundry room which I personally am allergic too. My fiancee and I then had to pay for a mold inspector out of pocket which was confirmed as mold and that is growing within the walls. The maintenance team simply came and sprayed bleach on the surface of the wall. Less than a week later, the water broke again and the mold immediately returned to the surface, further showing their is more mold that they had yet to remove. We were then told that even though I am allergic and have been feeling symptoms for months, that they are not concerned about it. Apart from the water leak, the flooring is extremely penetrable with sound. We are kept up until midnight every night from the upstairs neighbor sounding as if he is pounding on the floor unless we turn a sound machine on to max volume. The same neighbor wakes up everyday at 640am making the same sounds. This includes weekends. The lease states there are quiet hours and you must respect your neighbors, yet they refuse to abide to their own lease when we shared this with them to allow us to move out. The wood flooring of the kitchen also was not fixated to the floor. As you walk it would stick to your feet. At one point causing my fiancee to fall into the laundry room door. The door has yet to be fixed when we notified the office. Look elsewhere if you wish to live comfortably with a respectable landlord/management team.
Found black mold in my unit, they did not care, this will make you very sick. All they care about is their money. Can hear every footstop above you and toilets flushing, do not rent here! Contacting health department and better business bureau. Awful awful experience.

Good Morning: Thank you for your review. We are aware of and have been in close contact with the Regional Manager & Property Manager regarding concerns raised on the condition of the presence of alleged mold in the apartment home in question. We had an independent test conducted by a licensed and certified mold remediator in which the test results came back negative, they could not duplicate the results that were provided to us by the resident who performed a self-test. We have offered additional testing and remediation to the Member but have only received push back or not been granted access to complete these measures. We welcome additional dialogue with the Member and the opportunity to work toward a mutually agreeable solution.
My wife and I are seniors who sold our home and downsized. We have found Brighton Chase to be well-built and quiet, with friendly and responsive office staff personnel and prompt maintenance service when needed. We hear the occasional barking dog and upstairs neighbor's vacuuming, but never "what the neighbors are talking about" as one reviewer said. Lower floor residents do hear water running in the walls when upstairs bathrooms are used, but it's not a bother. It's convenient to rent 9x7 storage rooms (with lights and a power outlet) on the same floor, so we can quickly access infrequently-used items. My wife uses one storage room to keep her art supplies organized, and has a work table there. I keep my bicycles in another room (and the Metropark all-purpose trail is a few minutes away) Before the pandemic, we enjoyed using the community room for family or church-group gatherings, and we would invite friends to join us in the the theater room for DVD viewing or to watch sports. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the business center has two computers and a free copier. Summer pool crowding has been eliminated by having a pool attendant to enforce the "two guests per unit" rule. Finally, while paying rent automatically from one's checking account is encouraged, we write a personal check every month with no problem (permitted so long as no bounced checks). The only drawback for some might be it's hard to meet people, but these are apartments not condos so maybe that's to be expected.

These apartments look really nice but are poorly built. Expect to hear everything your neighbors are talking about. If you have someone who lives above you, expect to hear their alarm going off in the morning, talking/yelling, and even going to the bathroom. The pool area is nice but gets crowded on the weekends. People invite excess amount of guests to he pool which makes it overcrowded, non-availability of chairs for residence. Management and maintenance are great but due to the poor construction of these apartments, I would not recommend living here.

great amenities but absolutely horrible staff. Constant issues with their corporate office and using checks. I feel like they try to get you to pay online and the $25 fee on top of that. Very rude office staff and not very helpful with package deliveries and maintenance issues. The pool area sounds like its a Vegas pool party so in the summer it is extremely loud and uncontrolled partying. Also, there has been more cops showing up to the building lately because of unknown issues with residences. Meaning numerous cars at once. The staff doesn't let the residences know what is going on so we feel more safe. To me it makes me uneasy not knowing who is living in the building and what is going on. Yes the rooms are nice but its brand new but after being here for over 2 years i would never recommend this strictly because of the lack of safety and the lack of professionalism with the staff.
Brighton Chase is the newest complex on the west side of Cleveland and they have really raised the bar on what renter wants and needs. All the apartments have high end finishes, a spacious gourmet kitchen, in suite washer and dryer, a beautiful pool, and state of the art fitness center. There is also a beautifully landscaped courtyard with BBQ grills available, and a business center with wifi and printers available for resident use. There are garages around the property as well as platform parking under the building (a must for our Cleveland winters). Every floor also has a lounge area. Rocky River is a suburb of Cleveland with many locally owned restaurants and businesses.It has that small town feel close to a big city. It is close to shopping and there is a bus stop right in front of the building that will get you to downtown Cleveland's theaters, restaurants, and professional sports venues in 20 minutes. Brighton Chase is also 5 minutes from the metro park system, 10 minutes from marinas and beaches, 10 minutes from highways and 15 minutes from the airport. The management and on site maintenance staff is very courteous and very quick to respond to any concern. I have lived in other apartments and this one far exceeded my expectations.
While this is a relatively new building, there are some issues that need to be ironed out. I can sit here and type out a paragraph, or simply mention things you've all heard before that comes with living around relatively young, spoiled kids. People don't pick up after themselves, clean up after their dogs, respect quiet hours in common areas, and basically abuse the freedoms given to them by the staff. On a good note the building is generally tidy, the staff is polite, the apartments are well appointed (fit and finish is sub-par) and there are plenty of near by attractions/shopping. In all, it has the feel of a larger hotel and not a home. Take it or leave it.
Very modern and high end apartments with great ammentities. Renters have access to outdoor swimming pool with cabana seating and grilling area. Movie theatre and common area (TV, seating, and pool table) also available for personal use and nice fitness facilities with ample equipment to get an all around workout.
I'm in love with my new apartment! It is so new and modern, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances with an open floor plan ! You truly feel like you are resort living with all the amenities there are at Brighton Chase apartments! I highly recommend to anyone wanting a great apartment in the center of Rocky River Ohio !
I have loved living in Brighton Chase. The staff is friendly, responsive, and caring, and the facilities are brand new and beautiful.
I love this apartment, beautiful kitchen bathrooms and balcony, I really do feel spoiled. The noise from the upstairs and downstairs apartments can get a bit ridiculous. I can hear walking, talking, bathroom fans and the water pipe which is in the bedroom wall. I am lucky to have a upstairs neighbor who is living alone and is not home often.
