Property Ratings at Brighton Glens
Many other apartments in the area that are priced better, CLEAN, have an in unit washer and dryer, and more updated. Ended our lease early because it was so awful. Rats and cockroaches that management did not care about.
Property Manager at Brighton Glens, Responded To This Review
We’re sorry to hear that your experience has not been as positive as we would hope. We want to assure you that creating a clean and comfortable living environment for all our residents is a top priority. If you still have questions regarding your time here, please let us know and we'll be happy to address them.
Do not even bother with Brighton Glens or Brighton Cove (same management). All this place has to offer is dog poop covered grass and beyond poor management. The units are very bland and overpriced. Overall, a very uncomfortable and poor experience.
Brighton Glens is overall a decent place to live. I currently live here, and I have nice neighbors. It’s a peaceful place and I absolutely love my apartment. This apartment a safe community with a reasonable cost for living. It’s located in a nice area, very close to downtown, I-96 and highway 23. We had several minor maintenance issues and management was always quick to respond (almost always next-day). Staff is very friendly.
The walls are paper thin. The "updated" units have been done cheaply. Rude staff. Maintenance is quick. Great location close to downtown.
When you rent here and you get a ground floor apartment, you will have toilet issues, kitchen sink issues, and general drainage issues. If you have an old tub it will continue to peel it's coating off creating a tripping hazard. Refrigerator has only one adjustment so you will freeze things in refrigerator but you will not be able to completely freeze things in your freezer. You will not get any good help from the office as they can be rather rude. The single pane windows will give you heating bills, you will hear every conversation outside. When someone flushes the toilet upstairs you will have toilet water spewing out onto your floor. They will just tell you to deal with that because they do not want to fix it. Have a dog restriction list but yet every dog on that list lives in these apartments so don't let them bully you. Have a problem with noisy neighbors you have to call the police because management won't do anything about it unless you have a police report. If you live on the bottom floor you will have trash all over your patio from people throwing things off their balconies. The rent is outrageous for what you get inside.
The location couldn't be more perfect for being right in the middle of town at the apartment not so good. On the ground floor I have toilet issues, I have drainage issues, and constant issues with noise because the windows are single pane and you can hear conversations through them. They put a lot of money into the outside but there won't put a penny on the inside.
