Property Ratings at Brighton Place Apartments
If you like to listen to your neighbors blasting rap music all day and leaky drains and toilets that don't flush properly. Or if you like the smell of animals dog hair. Then this place might be just for you. The staff doesn't care about anything except getting your money once they have you in don't expect them to do their job. If you get suck in this dump you will regret it the rest of your life.
If there was an option for no stars I would rate this place with that. These apartments are trash. Everything breaks and then they proceed to charge you for it upon moving out. God awful communication, there is no leasing office on site. The office never answers their phone. After moved out I received a bill for a rent that I already paid, but since the shady office staff logged me out of my online account portal I could never log in to verify this. The safety of this property is debatable. You can hear all the arguing/loud noises of your neighbor at all hours of the night. The pool was closed for half of my time living in this apartment. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Do not trust this staff or waste your money that you are not going to end up getting more than half back anyway. The blinds break whenever you use them once, the patio screen doors fall off every time you open them. The closet doors come off the track whenever you use them as well. All utilities are expensive.
The apartments are very poor. The paint used is of poor quality. Cannot keep clean. The kitchen is sagging by the stove. The steps is separating from riser leading to basement. And rent is over a grand? Not allowed to use sidewalk chalk in front of our apartment? Kids can't play in the sand box that is meant for volleyball that nobody wants. Convert to a basketball court. Would be better. This place is horrible. Really is only as good as a last resort can't find anywhere else to live kind of place. Oh btw the playground is nasty. Maintenance is not cleaning the grounds
Been here for about 7 months.first off linden lane owns these town homes now so since there’s no leasing office on site that’s where you go. when I moved in there was a few problems but all I had to do was submit a maintanance request order online and it was taken care of the same day or next day. they plow the parking lot and salt your walkway when it snows which is nice. One thing I read in a lot of reviews was the basements flood which is true. When I moved in they were in the process of water proofing a few vacant town houses. Of course they didn’t water proof mine before I moved in so when it first rained my basement flooded. I put in a request order and they water proofed my basement that weekend(about 4 hours). Other then the few work orders that should have been done before I moved in I love it here. It’s cheap and quiet.
Submitted application online, paid application fee and deposit. Was relocating from out of state and depended on securing a place beforehand. The rental office didn't return my phone calls, not did I receive any feedback about the approval of my application. Either they're grossly mismanaged or severely understaffed. The online application has stated 'Submitted' for two weeks. No feedback from their website either. Horrible service! I became nervous about arriving to Ohio and not having a place t move to, so I went ahead and applied for an apartment at another location in Stow, Ohio. Not only did I receive an email from the apartment community, I also received a telephone call from the property manager about my application. I received an approval the very next day. I don't know what's going on at Brighton Place Apartments, but they need to get their act together. I'm sure the current residents has got to be complaining about lack of follow-up with maintenance, etc. Lord knows if i'll ever get my $100 deposit back.
Im sorry but there are NO vicious breeds, there are vicious owners. I live with Pit bulls and Rottweilers and these are the most kind, loving dogs Ive ever had. If you are restricting me from letting my family member live with me (aka. Rottweiler, Pit bull) then you can forget having me as a customer.
If you're looking for a spacious home at a great price this is it! The property is being renovated as units become vacant so they're beautiful. We love the updated counters and stainless steel appliances. Maintenance requests take a bit to be resolved, but keep on the office and they take care of it. The location is great and shopping, parks and restaurants are all close by. All in all a great place to live.
I moved in July 2014 and the office staff and maintenance have been very nice and prompt. I called for something to be looked at and they came that day. The newly renovated town homes are nice. My only complaint is that it is cheap paint on the walls that comes off when I try to clean my child's dirty fingerprints off the walls. Oh, and the pool is not heated. Otherwise a great place, lovely neighbors, not a lot of noise. The parking lot and grounds by my unit are clean, salted, plowed, etc.
I have lived here for three years, the first two years with the old management was ok, even though the apartments are falling apart. But when the new management company took over they jacked up the rent. The apartments are still terrible and i regret spending the last three years of my life at this place.
This new management is the worst! They are trying to squeeze money from everywhere. The maintenance never shows up when they say they will. There is always trash in the parking lot because they cut back on how many times the garbage gets picked up and it overflows. You have to harass the office people just to get a phone call back. This is the worst managed apartments I've ever lived in and I will not be renewing my lease.
