Property Manager at Brighton Ridge, Responded To This Review
Hello, thank you for your review! We appreciate your kind words about our maintenance and office staff, and we're delighted to hear that you find Brighton Ridge to be a beautiful place to live. - Your team at Brighton Ridge
If you're looking at apartment reviews, that must mean you kind of care where you're going to live. 1) Car has been broken into twice this past year. Stolen the first time, they tried stealing it again just recently. 2) It's basically a transit park and ride, people always parking in your spot or along the parking lot blocking the pass through 3) Noise and minimal supervision. Look elsewhere.
I have lived here two and a half years, and this was my first apartment. Management has been nothing less than excellent, extremely responsive and attentive to questions and concerns. Maintenance addresses issues quickly, and the units are in great condition. The price of rent is high everywhere, but this complex is much easier on a budget. I appreciate assigned parking, and the in unit washer and dryer (my non negotiable in my apartment search). I am sad to leave, this has been a wonderful place to live.
The place might look nice from outside but it is an old building with virtually no isolation. I could hear my neighbor breathing, it was freezing cold in the winter and unbearable in the summer. my electric bill was about 60$ monthly for just one person. water sewage and garbage was arbitrary charged to about 60-80$ per month. once you sign the lease, you will start dealing with rude management that don't care about a thing.
It takes forever till maintenance is done. They try to save money wherever they can. There apartments are old, wood counters which start to peal of. They don't fix it just say: " We know we are old". The police is here every week and this week a woman was shot and killed in the apartment. Trash is always full of rats and stinks. They increase the prize every year more than 5%. The club house with fitness center and pool is closed since more than 6 month. Not a good place.
If you're a parent, dog lover or motivated single, Brighton Ridge Apartments is an excellent choice. This property is a five minute drive away from a daycare and middle school. The refurbished basketball court serves double duty for youth who enjoy b-ball or toddlers peddling a bike. It also has open areas great for walking a dog. Motivated singles looking to commute have easy access to I-405 (north and south). In addition, Renton Technical College is only two blocks away. Residents tend to be friendly and maintenance keeps the award-winning grounds clean. So, in conclusion, Brighton Ridge Apartments is the closest you'll get to owning a home without actually buying one. ~ Stephanie M, Renton WA
