Worst place to live no security and 0 maintenance
If I had 0 star option, I would have picked it. After living for a year, I am writing my honest review. This is not at all a safe place to live. All the car tyres are being stolen, clothes are being stolen from Washers and dryers in daylight, found 3 BULLETS in children’s playing area, drugs and what not? Too much of rent with 0 maintenance. No one will bother to listen to yo ur concerns. 0 maintenance, worst place to live.

I am quite disappointed with the maintenance service at this apartment complex. I raised a problem request over 15 days ago, and it has yet to be attended to. Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no response from the management team. This lack of promptness and attention to tenants' concerns is extremely frustrating and needs to be addressed urgently. The delayed service is causing significant inconvenience, and it reflects poorly on the overall management of the property. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve their responsiveness and provide better service to their residents.

Just Good schools don't make an Apartment Community liviable
2 Star is only given for the Home schools which are associated with this apartment. The local schools are good. The community is close to essential stores such as Costco and Aldi, making grocery shopping convenient and accessible. Unfortunately there are so many factors where this apartment community falls short like management and staff. The management team has consistently failed to address resident concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner. Very Unfriendly and unhelpful leasing office. The high rent prices are not justified by the amenities provided. The leasing policies specially sub-leasing policies are strict and unfair, leaving residents feeling trapped and frustrated. Security is a significant concern. There have been several reports of break-ins and thefts, and despite repeated complaints management has not taken adequate measures to improve safety. The cost of using laundry machines has steadily increased, adding to the frustration. The machines are poorly maintained. Potential residents should consider all these factors carefully before making a decision

Price isn’t bad and area isn’t bad, but management feels incompetent. Often sends out emails with an image but the image is just a block of code. Twice I got locked out, and twice they did not have the right back up key for me. Someone keeps propping our building door open and management is unable to prevent this. One of our communal washers is broken (we have to pay for laundry) and it’s been more than two months, still not replaced.

Continually pleased by the amenities of my garden-style apartment. The building holds 12 units on 3 floors, the open garden entrance is enclosed with a secure key-entry system. The kitchen has ample storage space, a gas stove, well-sized refrigerator/freezer, and bright sun. Large closets throughout, and each apartment has a big individual storage bin in our stairwell. The balcony is spacious and covered, with a lovely view. Bedrooms and bathroom are accessible through a long pleasant hall. The windows have been replaced, and the new panes are energy conserving, keeping heating and cooling costs low. Plus the lovely cross ventilation the floor plan affords. A laundry room with pay-per-use washers / dryers is also located in our stairwell. The complex staff are skilled and attentive, and maintenance is done quickly and well. Plenty of parking, with nice grounds next to a small park. Easy access to shopping, recreation, schools, libraries, roads, and mass transit.

Apartments are good and maintained well... Had to visit the office multiple times to get the lease done.. Sometimes disconnect between what is shown on the website vs what you get. Even the leasing coordinator has no idea :), so always check in person before joining the apartment.. The storage is not allocated per apartment... and not marked.. no way to know who is using the storage... Some residents may use additional storage. Just because its not tagged with an apartment number. This should be on their checklist to make sure every new apartment gets the storage too..

Not worth for paying rent. Mice problem here. They are not taking any action. They are always concentrate charging more rent every year. Last year they increase 18% rent.

Everyone seems friendly. The area is really nice! Tons of shopping nearby and quick access to 370, 270, and 200. Bug problem we can't seem to get rid of, but love the space otherwise!

The big plus with Brighton Village is the community. The complex layout is very pleasant, and the area is comfortable and well maintained. There is a sense of safety. Maintenance in units is swift and well done. The crew is very friendly, as are the Office management and administration. The buildings themselves are well insulated and so utility costs are average to low depending upon use. I am a grateful resident.

Best community to live. Very friendly neighborhood. You got so many options to spend a good weekend with friends and family in the neighborhood. Rio, Kentlands are some best places for a good evening walk which are close to this community. Supermarkets, Malls, Movies etc are close by too.

I feel the laundry charges are more in this apartment. They should provide free laundry or reduce the price. No security camera in the apartment, recently many robbery activities were reported. Maintenance were excellent, really appreciate their work

Overall everything is great but the leasing agent to initially helped us with our lease told us multiple things that were factually wrong. He misled us about which utilities were included, and about the benefits for NIH employees which ended up costing us. Everything else has been wonderful except those instances of misinformation.
