Property Ratings at Briq on 4th Street
4 bikes were stolen just in one weekend. Several Amazon packages have also been stolen throughout the year. Don't move here! Management is lazy and will not do anything about it, no security guards or cameras. They don't care about you, they just want your money.
Do you love zero amenities and terrible management? If so, The briq on 4th st may be the right apartment for you! First off this apartment is way too expensive for what you get and they charge you for a ton of extra fees that make no since. There is also zero parking so you are constantly having to park very far away from the apartment. If it’s busy downtown sometimes you will drive around for an hour just to find street parking. If you choose one of their 2 “first come first serve parking” and you work from home and don’t move your car very often you will get yelled at by management to move your car. The only amenity is that you are close to downtown which is cool at times but at other times annoying. You are surrounded by 4 bars and you will be constantly approached by drunk people when taking your dogs to the very few dog potty areas. The apartment themselves offer no amenities. If you get packages in the mail because there is no elevator the UPS people will sometimes leave your packages on the side of the road and out in the open. My experience with management is not the best. If you call them and leave them a voicemail with questions they will get back to you a week later and are very rude.
The rental units are clean, well planned and fairly modern. You are downtown so you can walk everywhere. Beware for those looking to move into the Briq on 4th in 2022 and beyond. Management has changed, and they've told lies, increased rates, and cancelled the only amenity. 1. Management officially changed in August 2021, and we received a portal message that nothing would change on our end as tenants. 2. The new leasing office manager reduced her hours to 12:00-3:00 and is available only on Monday,Wednesday, and Friday. I'm not sure who this helps. 3. In August 2021 we received a portal message that parking garages would now cost $100 per month instead of the old rate of $50 per month. This is a problem since the garages are not private. There are no walls to separate your garage from the neighboring garage. 4. We received a portal message in January 2022 that valet trash service is cancelled effective February 1, 2022. There are literally no other amenities at this apartment complex.
This is a great place to live. You can't beat the location and the units are clean, well laid out, and well-maintained. There are some great amenities, like a valet trash service that picks your trash up outside your door every night. Even more importantly, the property manager is great. She knows and cares for all the residents. She handles issues promptly and meticulously. She'll go above and beyond to make living here a positive experience. I definitely recommend this property!
I love the location! Great place to live and quiet.
