Located along the Kansas River and known for its cheerful tulips, Topeka is a Midwestern gem that combines a busy, bustling downtown -- this is the capital city of Kansas and the seat of Shawnee County, after all -- with the natural beauty of the prairie. Topeka is also a college town, home to Washburn University -- a public university established in 1865.
Founded in 1854, Topeka has long played an important role in US history. It was an important part of the Oregon Trail, with a ferry located in Topeka that helped the travelers cross the river. The Brown v. Board of Education, a court ruling that ended public school segregation in 1954, involved a school in Topeka, and today the Brown v. Board of Education Historic Site features galleries, special exhibits, and tours.

Property Ratings at Bristol Ridge
I think her name was Taylor, she was the nicest most helpful person though this experience! She went above and beyond to answer my questions and help me in any way she could! Bristol Ridge is in an excellent location, in a quiet friendly neighborhood! I can’t wait to live here!
I have lived at Bristol Ridge for about a year and a half. I can't say enough good things about the maintenance , the residents, and the Manager Michelle. I feel really safe and cozy and at home there. I have decided to buy a house and that's the only reason I am moving. I have never had one concern there, the bills are reasonable, and the cable is paid for and that is lovely! If you can get in over there, do! Its a small community with a big heart.
What an awesome place! Clean, well maintained, pleasing to the eye and most of all - "user friendly". Have lived here several months and this place feels very comfortable. As a retiree, I tend to be a bit "picky", moving from my long-time house into a one-bedroom - but wow! The closet space is tremendous - downsizing is a challenge; yet everything has a niche here. The washer/dryer is so handy - no hauling laundry up and down stairs or to the car. If anything needs attention, a quick call brings our wonderful maintenance man. The manager is helpful and makes sure things are running smoothly. For students, this place is close to the university. It is also centrally located near grocery stores and restaurants. The pool and workout equipment is great - no gym membership needed! Residents are friendly with smiles offered daily. The location is tucked away beside a row of trees which blocks traffic noise. As a bird enthusiast I love watching the barn swallows swoop across the soccer field right outside my window. Have been in several area apartments that my son lived in over the years and they pale compared to this place. After apartment researching for a couple years, this is the one that popped - highly recommended!
In addition to starting my post-graduate work at a nearby university, I was having to move two hours away from where I was previously. The folks at Bristol Ridge made the moving process very, very easy. They were quick to respond to my questions and concerns via email or phone, and they were willing to work with me on some of the stickier details of move-in dates and such. Any maintenance issue I have had with my unit has been fixed extremely quickly and the maintenance staff is courteous and friendly. I have no worries about them fixing things in my apartment when I am not around. Overall, Bristol Ridge is a fabulous place to live and I would absolutely recommend it to everyone, especially students or people moving in from out of town.
I have lived at Bristol Ridge for almost 3 years and they are amazing. My landlord and maintenance staff are helpful, efficient, and caring. They take great care of the apartments and the exterior. A month or so ago I had a few spiders make an appearance in my apartment with the warmer weather and they quickly addressed the problem that day. Michelle, my landlord, is always thinking of fun things to do at the complex and I feel right at home. I have felt welcomed and safe since I moved in a few years ago! I would recommend this apartment complex to any friends or family!
Great amenities good neighborhood. This complex is centrally located to all businesses and schools. Neighbors are friendly and close to public transportation.
