Mold in my building, apartment upstairs would leak constantly causing it to rain in my kitchen, went many months without a working stove, fire department evacuated my building because the washers/dryers are maintained poorly and almost caught on fire, neighbors have aggressive dogs that bark constantly, air conditioner leaked in my closet causing damage to personal property, parking lot is stuffed with shipping containers causing a shortage of parking spaces, bookkeeping wants to charge me thousands of dollars to move out, and the rent goes up 60%-89% for the next tenant in my 600 square foot apartment. Best of luck if you choose to rent from Edward Rose & Sons, you are going to need it!

So after about 3 weeks of informing the office of a maintenance request for all the bugs, they finally stoped by to fix it… however they gladly opened the door unannounced then proceeded to walk in my bedroom… where I was sleeping… these people are so creepy… and not a single apology. Don’t live here especially if you have kids..

I would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone. My fiancé and I have been living here over 5 years and no updates have been made. The apartments are very small, the rent keeps increasing and let’s mention the elder bug issue during the winter months. The neighbors are nice but the walls are really thin. There’s only 3 washers and dryers that is shared amongst 36 units. After finding there will be no future updates for loyal residents, we’re deciding to move.

They billed me for ridiculous "damages" that I supposedly did to the apartment. They claimed they needed to replace the carpet and I have photos to prove otherwise. I didn't have a pet or anything that would have done damage to it either.

The management never did anything about the neighbors letting their dog poop everywhere. One neighbor had their dog poop on the balcony and never did anything about it. The walls are cheap and you hear everything.

Well here's an update. Loved summer but lets talk winter. 8" of snow...lots of notice. But no plow trucks. Call the office when I just drove over an hour to get home, they will let me borrow a shovel. I am 53 years old and i "get" to borrow a shovel? Must ridiculous thing i have ever heard. Wish I could post pictures. So when I miss work because i cant get out then what? Standing here watching the stuck cars being pushed by neighbors. Pathetic!

We're sorry that you feel this way about our community after the first snowfall of the season being over 8 inches. We needed more time than usual to remove the snow from the community despite any 'notice' that we had from the weather forecast.
I have lived here for 4 years and recently had some things go on that is unacceptable. They sent a letter to say that they are checking furnaces. This happened while I was at work. That day, i made it home at 8pm with my 3yr old son (im a single mom) to find my apartment door open, NOT JUST UNLOCKED BUT ACTUALLY OPEN. My neighbor said they came around 10am meaning my home was left open all day and night. I had to make a police report, i made a complaint with the office and corporate. I asked corporate to not let anyone in my apt without me there, i was told that they only come when they have to. I asked to be let out of my least without fees and was told "go ahead and move out then, but you will have to pay to break your lease". I told them, i value thr safety of my son and i and was told "it only happened once". I cant believe that my apartment was left open, i have not been reimbursed for my numerous missing items, and they denied my request to get out of my lease. I have numerous clothing items missing, my security was violated, and no one seems to care. I cant wait to leave here. In addition, paint chips were left all on my floor from them taking apart the fuse box, the corporate manager is extremely rude and all of my things were thrown all over my bed.

Couple years ago there was a horrible resident manager, and she was also a horrible person. It often took a number of calls, a number of arguments, a number of weeks, and sometimes a number of months to get something repaired. Now there is a new resident manager, maintenance staff said nice about her, and it looks to be so. Repairs are done just after one call within days. It looks much better here now.

I think of them as my family. I have been unhealthy since moving in, but never ceases to amaze me how on top of things they are when things can or if they go wrong. If you call the office, or just drop in always guaranteed a greeting smile, hello, couldn't ever ask for better service in a staff. As far as maintenance, the friendliest bunch of guys you could ask for. If problem in middle of night they get out of warm bed, jump too it. What people need to keep in mind is it's a big community, they have to things, rated highest in priority to the lowest, patience is a virtue. They will not forget, if it slips by a friendly reminder we are all just human. We all look out for each other, I couldn't ask for better home, or family because living here over the years, that's what this place is to me, my family.
I have lived at golden gate for over a year now, I am handicapped. I just love the office staff, and maintenance crew if they can't get to something right away please keep in mind, they are not only doing golden gate, but also Bristol square. They have helped me through some very bad times with my health. So easy to talk to, and do the best they can to accommodate your needs. Just remember they are real people, with real feeling too, kudo's too the office staff and maintenance crew keep up the good work. You definitely taught me patience is a virtue. I am a loyal tenant for 11 yrs at Bristol sq Apts. And the apt management has been loyal to me, reason why I lived here this long.If a problem ever exisys they promptly address and fix it. I never had a serios problem with any of my neighbors, a pretty quitevery clean place to live.
I have lived here at Bristol Square Apartments for 11 years because management here is very loyal. if a problem arises they address it and promptly fix it. A very quite and clean place to live.They really take care of their tenants.
Very comfortable and cozy, lots of sunlight, quiet neighbors, office staff is friendly and helpful. The structure of the apartment is good. Maintenance staff is helpful and efficient. I have a great view of the courtyard, which is always quiet and relaxing.

The maintenance crew was untrained, and the office manager was rude beyond all measure. To be completely honest, if she didn't like you, it took a lot longer for things to get fixed for you because she would "lose the work order." She had my car towed in the middle of winter because I didn't comply with that days snow removal regulations but I followed the lease agreement rules on parking for snow removal. When I asked her what I should've done she suggested parking in the Kroger parking lot and walking home. That in itself is heinous, I was a resident and had a right to parking on the premises. Also it's illegal for me to park my car in a stores lot if I'm not shopping there. And lastly it was zero degree weather in the middle of winter. Please spare yourself headaches and heartaches and stay away from Bristol square.

I have lived in Golden Gate for almost a year and am very happy with it! The floor plan is great! It is easy to move around in and I love how huge the pantry is! Also the tile they put in the kitchen and bathroom is very nice and I have received several compliments on it. For the cost of the rent you really can't beat it! Plus the pool and patio is gorgeous! They always have a nice display of flowers out there, and it the nice thing is the pool is never over crowed. This is my first place and I am very pleased with it!

The one bedrooms are a lot more spacious than I expected, and I really like the area. However the duildings are older, and a lot of things have needed to be fixed since I moved in. Make sure you talk to the leasing office ASAP if you have any problems, sometimes they'll mess with the water/heat/ac while fixing things and not give out any warnings.
