Omaha locals have long associated the names Aksarben and Elmwood Park with city institutions. Maybe this is because Elmwood Park is one of the oldest parks in the region, or perhaps because Aksarben — Nebraska spelled backward — is a title created by a group of founding businessmen bestowed on some of the city’s most prominent organizations and buildings.
This neighborhood is a part of such prominence — an area of South Central Omaha enshrined in history and endowed with a strong sense of identity. Charming residences house families that have lived here for several generations, just as long as the locally owned cafes and corner shops. Yet modern embellishments such as Aksarben Village add a new shine to the Aksarben-Elmwood Park community.
With a proactive neighborhood association dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of local buildings, values, and natural spaces, Aksarben-Elmwood Park offers a stable, timeless environment for all of its residents.

Property Ratings at Broadmoor63
I have lived in 4 states and rented 10+ places already at the age of 32. In all of my experience, I have never felt so welcomed by the staff and also that the staff is there to serve you as their resident. I would have stayed much longer if I did not move back to Chicago for work. My favorite things: 1- The Friendly and “Servant” Staff, always going out of their way when they don’t have to and always greeting you with a smile. This comes from the Broadmoor company. It’s a great place to work and this trickles down to the employees’ treatment of tentants. 2-Amenities - work from home options, you can always find space to work if you need to change your environment. 3-Hot Tub /Pool Area - great way to recover from a workout or just destress at the end of a day.. or just meet new people and chill. 4- Location - 10 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes from everything. TONS to do in Aksarben Village (INNER RAIL, Volleyball, Sonny’s, Music in Stinson Park… ) 5- DOG PARK / Dog Friendly - so many friendly people and honestly, I can say most of the time people have the dog park to themselves with 1 dog, or maybe just2 dogs but it is never crowded. 6- Garage parking - super convenient, very clean, easy and efficient access, then you drive out and you are on main roads to get anywhere in Omaha Moving In/Out: -the maintenance staff went out of their way to ask what else I needed assistance with. -they voluntarily mounted my TV and my guitar for me -the staff allowed me to use their key until I could get my own (moved in 1 day early) and also were flexible giving me early access Day-to-day life: -Monthly social gatherings in the summer -a great pool area with a hot tub for socializing -board room and “The Cove” for those that need to switch up where they work. These areas are EXTREMELY nice. I pretty much had an office outside of my room every day in the board room, as college students are either in class or doing other things in the summer. -for breaks I would use the pool table to hit some balls -A short walk to Askarben Village area with tons of live music on in the summer - a farmer’s market, festivals,. PRICING: -I know this is a luxury place and rental prices are going up in literally every city… but from my experience.. my philosophy is this…. I will be the best and most productive version of myself if I am in a positive space that I love to come home to. I have never regretted having a quality place.
Since moving into Broadmoor63 this April, we have had a wonderful experience. The apartments are newly finished and beautifully designed. Within Broadmoor63, there are many excellent community perks including the fitness center, clubhouse, pavilion, and pool. The location -- a few blocks away from all the Aksarben restaurants, parks, shopping, and farmer's market -- is ideal. We've been most impressed by the entire staff, especially the assistant manager, Andy, whose friendliness and professionalism helped to make our move-in seamless. Overall, we give our highest review and recommendation to Broadmoor63, and we're so excited to live here.
