Property Ratings at Broadstone Village
To start out, when it came to actually signing up for this place, it was a pure nightmare. I understand that apartment complexes have paperwork but there was such a hassle. The fees also didn't help. We thought we were getting such a wonderful deal with this place, being that the first month rent was free, but it didn't even matter because all that money we would have saved just went into the fees before moving in. Most apartments of course have a one-time pet fee, but this place required that fee for BOTH pets, so it wasn't just $300 but $600 because we had two pets. Then, the supposed $25 pet fee that they advertise, isn't correct. Apparently, they handle your pet fee based on how heavy your pets are and how many you have. Our two pets make our fee $35. Then, they require you to fill out pet documentation that you have to pay for, per pet. I believe that documentation fee was ~$20 per pet. The next issue, the buildings are old. There needs to be some serious renovations on the buildings. Although, the rent here maybe great compared to other places, you make up that difference in cost in the power bill. We live on the second floor and during the summer, you basically have to keep the A/C going and you will probably still see the temperature rise. The power bill has been insane and neither the power company, nor the complex wants to help. Even when talking to management, I was told they were going to send someone out to check everything, it's been a week with nothing happening until yesterday when we received a response to our email, regardless, no one has been sent out yet. The next issue is the response of management. We unfortunately have very "Frustrating" neighbors above us. I've talked to the neighbors directly at first to be friendly and make sure not to cause any bad blood. After the third time of the neighbors not truly stopping the noise, I decided to talk to the front office. After my last complaint, I was asked had I called the police about it. My final section I'll talk about miscellaneous stuff. One, since we have moved in, the gates have not worked. Second, it seems like faces in the office change a bit. We have been here approximately 4 months, and the front office manager has changed 2 or 3 times and even the Leasing person we worked with is gone. Third, the pool was closed until August. One positive thing I can say is I LOVE the Amazon Lockers that they have. but that one thing isn't enough to change my rating. Maintenance is average.

I have only lived here for a bit over 6 months and so far way too many problems. First, half my apartment was out of light for a month. Regardless of telling management they still took a full month to get someone to finally fix it. Affecting my regular lifestyle, couldn’t cook at nights, my kids were online schooling and also were affected by it. Regardless management did nothing to give back for that problem. Now the pool has been getting remodeled and we were told it would take a month. Then two more weeks. Now they are adding another 2 week causing it to push the project for 2 months. Paying an apartment here and not even getting the pool amenities is not worth it. Management only say they will get back to you but only to say they are working on it. Show progress instead !!

They remember the little things here. My birthday was last month and I received a hand written birthday card at my door. I live alone and it made my day! Every time I go into the office they know me by name and there are a lot of people who live here. If I need help with rent the leasing agent (not sure of her name, she just had a baby)always makes the process easy to understand. I haven’t had many maintence issues to speak of but I always see the men around the property picking up trash which is appreciated. Only downside is the gate NEVER works.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We always try to remember everyone's "SPECIAL" day so it makes OUR day knowing you enjoyed receiving the Birthday card. Please let us know if you ever have any issues that need our attention!
We came and toured a couple weeks ago with Jane. We wanted to look everywhere before we made a decision where to go. Out of all the places we looked in the area, Broadstone shined through. We were followed up on within 24 hours and we got another call a week later to make sure we didn't have any other questions about the apartment. It kept this apartment on the forefront of our minds and we truly appreciated our questions being welcomed. We have decided to lease with Broadstone and we are excited for our move in!
I recently moved here from Atlanta and from the very start of my apartment search Broadstone stood out amongst the competitors due to the way the staffs' way of making you feel welcome and not an inconvenience. Misty always has time to take a moment of her time to say helllo and everyone knows you by name. It's a great place.

The property manager and staff have poor communication skills . They do not stand for their tenants. If you decide to rent please be aware of your water bill. There was a leak in my apartment in which I was unaware of. The staff knew about it and did not contact me. When the leak was fixed, I was charge and whopping $300. The leak was not my fault. So please be aware. You get for what you pay.
It is a wonderful, lovely and quiet place to live in. We have been here my husband and I around 5 years now and we are quite pleased with it. The staff turnover is quite frequent but as long as they leave at least one person I know on staff I won't have a problem.
Very nice apt I have a handicap apt the bathroom has many bars around the toilet and in the bathtub has been used a lot by me also the staff has been very good to me I live by myself and when I was down with my knee and then having surgery they came and took my trash for me and put in a hand held shower for me at no cost I could not ask for a better place to live
Very quiet community. Nice roomie apartments that are pet friendly. Gated community with tennis courts and playground for the kids. Garage if you like pool laundry and weight room.
Very relaxing and quiet community. Tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Very new and roomie apartments. Pet friendly and gated community. Also have the option of a garage if you like.
At one point I thought I would DIE if I lost my house. That was during the real estate meltdown when I found myself trapped in a mortgage that had escalated beyond anything I would have voluntarily undertaken, with kids to raise all by myself. But now I find myself in just the right amount of space to live an organized, easily managed life. Somebody else is cutting the grass. Last month, when the air conditioner went out I had a new compressor AND a new garbage disposal the next day and it didn't cost me a dime. I look out my window at treetops and hear birds singing while 10 minutes from the center of town. I've had plenty of creative challenges making the space mine without all those expensive temptations (you know, all that granite and stainless steel nonsense) tempting me at Lowe's. I have time to do the things that really matter to me, without a host of worries that are in no way anything to die for.
This is my second time here. That should tell you how I feel!!!!! The office staff are great and the maintenance people are the greatest. I can't say enough about the value for your money. I suggest you come and see for yourself!!!!!!
I hate everything about this place. The pool is NEVER clean. Kids have puked in it and they never drained it. You will frequently find a band aid floating in the pool. The grills never get cleaned. If you have a maintenaince problem you going to be waiting weeks for them to fix it. The carpet is so cheap everything stains it. The cabinets are made really cheap. The trash is always so full I have to put my trash on the sidewalk. They area for dogs never has doggie bags. There is trash blowing around the complex. I highly recommend that NOOONE moves into this place! Don't even come look at it!
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Utilities are affordable and I love having a sunroom. However, I feel like the overall inside of the apartment could be in better condition.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like the affordable cost Broadstone Village offers to its residents. The staff is friendly and helpful, however I am not happy with the amenities. The pool has odd hours of operation and the gym doesn't have much equipment.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: quiet and peaceful
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like the open air social spaces. I dislike the malfunctioning gates that are left open for access by all.
We returned the keys and the gate openers, but they still charged for the items. They did not return the deposit even though the apartment was thoroughly cleaned. Likes and suggestions: The community is great for family living
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I do not care for the staff. They are rude. The pool is NEVER clean. If you have a maintenaince problem it usually takes them a while to fix it. The carpet is so cheap everything stains it. The cabinets are poorly made and put together. The trash is always so full I have to put my trash on the sidewalk. They area for dogs never has doggie bags.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: It was my first time living in an apartment, at first I was kinda scared, but very soon i WAS WELL ADJUSTED, IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPIRENCE, THE STAFF WAS GREAT, WELL MAINTAINED.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Loved the staff who were always warm and always helpful to me. I was not to happy with the repair men.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I have lived there for 4 years and it has really gone down hill. It is not worth the money we pay. The residents are loud and messy, the pool is not monitored and you get people that shouldn't be there. My son who is 14 went down to swim with his friend who is also 14 and was told he had to leave because he is not 18, but there were people there who are not residents and they were able to stay, I think this is unfair. The weight room often has broken machines and they are not repaired in a timely manner. My biggest complaint is the mold and the trash compactor. I find myself cleaning mold every couple weeks out of the bathrooms because there is an issue with moisture. The walls are very thin so you can hear people arguing, hear their tv's, music, hear them on the phone etc which is to be expected in an apartent environment.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: We love the pool and the security of the gate
My likes and dislikes about this community are: loved living there..biggest concern was people picking up after their pets..every apt building should consider the people living there whether single, ederly, married..should pair up tenants to the majority that is living there..example: children should not be in buildings where there is mostly single tenants or vice versus..
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I don't have any dislikes. I love it here.
