When the Woodlands was created as a master-planned community, the developers wanted to retain as much of the natural, wooded landscape as possible. As a result, this aptly-named community features 135 parks, 210 miles of hiking and bicycling trails, more than 1,800 acres of open green space, and 14 swimming pools. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion provides an open-air concert site, and several lakes and canals -- including the vast Lake Woodlands -- add even more beauty to the community. The Woodlands is home to several golf courses, including the Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, the Tournament Course at the Woodlands Country Club, and the Club at Carlton Woods: Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
While apartments in the Woodlands are terrific for commuters -- just 28 miles north of Downtown Houston and directly off I-45 -- the Woodlands is no longer considered the bedroom community it was designed to be.

5 years and still love it here. It’s generally a quiet neighborhood and you don’t see a lot of your neighbors. The only thing I would like to see improved are all the security doors and points as well a better lighting in the garage at night.

So far the only defect I have seen is the garbage accumulated at the entrance of the parking lot. The maintenance issue is extremely slow, they take too long to respond to any ticket. The machines in the gym are a bit neglected. There are many doors that are always open so there is not as much security as one would like. Very little pest fumigation in external areas of the apartments.

Nice location. I love that there is a lot of places to go on a walk. Even a trail. The Main Street is super busy even in the middle of the night so it can be loud. Ant and bugs is a constant issue. But overall it’s ok

I have lived here for five years and I feel at home. The staff and maintenance crew at this community are incredibly attentive, friendly, and always go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful living experience. If there are ever any maintenance issues they are usually resolved pretty quickly unless it’s something major such as replacing the AC unit, in that case, it may take a few days. All in all, this is one of the nicest apartment communities in the area.

Overall living in the complex is nice, no disturbances within neighbors & friendly environment. Amenities are great. I don’t particularly like how the fetch services & the Amazon lockers run in the facility & how residents don’t have much care for the trash room that causes bugs in the halls.

Living here for two years has been an amazing experience. The front office and maintenance staff are approachable and very eager to help when issues arise. Moving is never easy but Robert made my leasing experience manageable and ultimately why I chose to live here. Christen goes above and beyond to assist me and my family, she is very prompt and will find alternatives to ensure matters are handled timely. It’s a beautiful property nonetheless, however, the safety and welcoming feeling the staff had exude from the very beginning is vital in making this my home. I recommend this apartment especially for those with kids.

We love it here. We had a very stressful move due to the hurricane. The previous apartments were not available due to the power outage forcing us to find an apartment in one day. My boyfriend leased here prior, so we decided to see if anything was available The staff was so helpful. They rushed all the maintenance requests and had us moved in within 24 hours of canceling our other lease!

The neighborhood is great and peaceful. The amenities are great. 24 hr gym perfect for getting in those workouts. Rooms are spacious even the smaller ones. Well taken care of. Parking garage for your vehicle is such a plus. The staff is friendly. Stores are nearby for all your needs.

Beautiful apartment and well kept community. Very pet friendly with a big fenced grass area and multiple pet stations. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The apartments are nice but I feel like the staff can take a long time respond. When the parking garage sticker stopped working for some crazy reason i called the office and the stopped by the office and left a message about my issue and it took a third time to stop by the office to get the issue resolved.

Very decent place to call home. Leasing office staff is very friendly and professional, maintenance is quick to respond with an appreciate level of professionalism and courteousness, and the community is attractive and generally clean.

Well it’s been 4 months since my apartment was flood by the sprinkler breaking on the 4th floor and the water leaked to the 3rd, 2nd and 1st floor apartments. I am yet to get an appropriate update from the leasing manager as to when the repairs will be made. All I get is we tried to reach the insurance company. That’s it!!! They have not done a thing to make it right as of now. I’m still paying full rent. I think that this is some kind of breach in contract with them leasing the apartment to me. My next move now is to contact my attorney and the local news. I have been more than patient with Broadstone. One very unhappy tent.

Front office only lets you know things when it benefits them. First month into staying here my boyfriend and I found out that the real grass was being replaced with fake grass by the men in the back yard ripping up to ground. I called multiple times and sent emails and no one came back to me but they made sure to send me an email about my dogs being unsupervised in the backyard a couple of days later. I was continually harasses about my dogs being in the backyard until one day they let themselves into my apartment without notice to show me the lease I signed underlining where in the lease it says I can’t have my animals unsupervised in the backyard. (Piece of information on lease is very vague so they can interpret it how ever will fit the offices agenda) Other than the front office, the people who live here complain about anything and everything. Dogs bark because someone’s walking their dog by my backyard… COMPLAINT! Someone smoking…. Assumes it’s coming from you…. COMPLAINT! Flies take over backyards and pool during the summer time, I wouldn’t be surprised if you have maggots in your apartment at least once during the summer from them coming in your apartment and making it their breeding ground. Roaches not only show up sometimes because of the cheap work they did on the apartments but they actually roam the streets outside of the apartments. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone.

Hi Anonymous - we appreciate your feedback. The property sent out several notifications to all residents with yards before the AstroTurf project started and delivered notices to the doors. Our lease states that dog are not allowed to unsupervised or left out unattended. Our property is a smoke free community and all smoking needs to be 50 ft. from the building.
