Indianapolis is the thriving capital city of the state of Indiana — as well as the most populated. Nicknamed the Crossroads of America, Indianapolis is the well-known center for several major interstates that connect locals to the rest of the country. This commuter-friendly city is also home to the Indianapolis International Airport, a modern hub for national and international travelers. With an abundance of affordable apartments for rent, the city of Indianapolis has more than enough to offer both its residents and visitors alike.
Residents can enjoy a performance from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Hilbert Circle Theatre, cheer on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, and peruse the stores in Circle Centre Mall. Locals enjoy admiring the wildlife at the Indianapolis Zoo, exploring the exhibitions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and hiking the trails at Eagle Creek Park.

Property Ratings at Brockton Apartments & Townhomes
I was supposed to get a tour of their apartments this past weekend and I scheduled the tour nearly a week in advance, but I kept getting mixed info sent to me regarding my scheduled tour. One day they tell me I’m scheduled for Friday, the next day they tell me the following Monday. I clarified multiple times and they told me I was set for Saturday, but I show up on time and nobody was at the office. I called and emailed but nobody answered, so I waited and nobody showed up. I finally get an email response today and they tell me that I was supposed to be informed of them having to reschedule, but I never received that communication. This office is so unorganized and I would not want to get an apartment at a place that can’t even handle properly scheduling an appointment.

Hello Frederick, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry that we have not met your expectations. We fell short of our usual service standards, and we apologize. In the future, we'll take steps to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Please feel free to reach out to our leasing office at any time to discuss this matter. The landscaping is excellent and make the overall complex look very nice. The inside areas could use some work such as cleaning the elevators and vacuuming hallways. They must have let the cleaning company go. Seems like a sign that the property may be going downhill. Close to many stores and not far from other neighborhoods. Pretty quiet community, no drama.

Thank you for your feedback. If there are specific concerns that you have, I would love to discuss them with you. Please reach out to our leasing office at your earliest convenience.
My husband and I lived here for 1 year; we moved out solely because we bought a home outside of Indy. We were in a time crunch when moving in, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Brockton is nestled into a neighborhood rather than having the typical compact layout, so it felt much more like home. This community is not brand new, but the apartments, community and amenity areas are very well maintained. The rates and square footage are great, especially for the Broad Ripple area. If you think the rates are too high, then you should not be looking in this area or for a community this nice. Also keep in mind that at any apartment community you will always see an annual rent increase; thankfully renewal rates are very reasonable at Brockton. The office and maintenance staff were always great to work with and did very well communicating with residents. Crime has no boundaries, but I always felt safe, even at night (always be vigilant). The apartment buildings are well built, so we never had issues with hearing neighbors. We absolutely loved living here and wouldn't hesitate living here again!
Lived there for a few years and every year the rent keeps going up. The place was built in 1964 and I found it hard to justify paying that kind of money for a 53 year old place with things falling apart and creaking with every footstep. The maintenance crew was always very friendly and would respond to any issues with a couple days. All in all, I recommend it as a place to live for a couple of years.
I highly recommend you choose to live in Brockton Apartments, you won't regret it. My grandmother has lived here since 2000. She (we) love it!!
Very decent place to live, Nice people, Nice environment! If you're looking for a place that's affordable, Whether it's your first apartment or not, Brockton apartments are accommodatable in every way!
I really have enjoyed living in Brockton for the almost year we've been here. Our apartment is a bit old, but it's well maintained and was clean when we moved in. Plumbing issues have raised numerous times, and while the maintenance is extremely fast and helpful, the overall quality of the plumbing needs a revamping--which I feel like, for the price we pay for rent, should not be an issue. There have been other maintenance issues like broken doors and rain pipe things but the staff is always really quick to fix them. We always appreciate has nice and fast they are, and they are always very sweet to my dog (who loves them!) when they enter the house. The area is relatively safe. It's nestled in a very residential area off Kessler so our apartment faced a row of houses, it felt like less of a complex and more like a neighborhood. Never any issues with noise at night or people loitering or whatnot which I've experienced other places. But it does border on Broad Ripple and there are a lot of drunk drivers that come out of the bars at 2 am and find their way home through your neighborhood. It's to be expected in the area though. Our neighbors on both sides didn't keep their patios up at all. They'd consistently let the weeds grow to giant bushes over the seasons and eventually it got so tall it peeked over our fence. I wish the complex would maintain or at least encourage the residents to maintain their patio space. It is noting when you're trying to spend time outside and there's tons of bugs crawling out of your neighbors jungle. The pool area and gym were both dry well maintained and clean. The gym area was small but I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for any machine. The pool is always very clean and usually not very busy. There is no lifeguard so if you have kids you'd have to be very mindful. The reason I rate it three stars is because for the price, I think the apartment could have been a little nicer. For what we pay here we could get something larger and more renovated, but when we moved from out of state we were in a crunch for time and this place was open quickly. I wish we could afford to stay here when our lease is up, but we will have to move due to price. If you can afford it, Brockton is a nice place to live. I would continue living here if the rent prices would go down, and while I wouldn't discourage people from moving here, I would say to check around if you are on a budget.
