We have lived here since 2020 and it has been nothing but trouble. The gate hasn’t been fixed, trash piles up every weekend, rarely does anyone pick up the phone in the front office. It seems like there is a new manager every few weeks. I have been dealing with a mold problem for a few months now and I have told the front office about it and requested help through the website. Maintenance came today and said this is the first time they are hearing about it. They were rude and condescending and talked to us like we are stupid.. They basically blamed my husband and I for the problem. They said someone from the front office would contact us about the mold before they left. I have bad allergies and the mold is making it 10x worse and it is now in the vents and I have no idea when it will be fixed. I can not wait until our lease is up. Also dogs are off leash and kids running in the street. Recommend not to move here.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!!!! I have been a resident for close to 2 years and the management and staff have changed at least 4 or 5 times in that time frame. From inconsiderate neighbors to trash being left behind all over the grounds this place is a nightmare to come home to. This will turn into section 8 housing before you know it. If you move to the swampy marshy area in building 185 you will be kept up by the frogs and all the bugs that attract the swamp. Notto mention you will be living next to a drug dealer. AVOID THIS COMPLEX IF YOU CAN!!!!!!

I've lived here for over a year now, and I must say that I love it here! It's convenient to be close to the highway, the school district is amazing, and the community is quiet. The new office staff is very helpful, and they seem to be fixing a lot of the issues that the previous staff left behind. I highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your complimentary review and recommendation. We're thrilled you love your home with us and value the efforts of our staff!
Bromley village is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived! Maintenance issues are never completed in a timely manner. Be advised it may be weeks before your issue is resolved. If that weren’t enough they all are pretty nonchalant about answering the phone. Don’t move here!

So many reasons so here are just a few: Gated community that’s a joke. Gates never work properly and when they do, then you have to worry about your car getting damaged because they are not liable. Trash is always over flowing. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything outside in the breezeways. Office people and maintenance crew are so rude. Pool is never cleaned and last year closed half the time. There is a few and so many more. Fair warning, don’t live here!

Our new team members are ready to listen, so please stop by the office or contact us at info@recarrollmanagement.com.
Bromley management shows a complete disregard for the welfare of their tenants. I expect more from an R.E. Carroll property than the incompetence and apathetic approach toward tenant satisfaction than what we've experienced over the last five months plus. We're moving out on the 19th, yet our rent is not pro-rated. I've personally gone to the office twice this past week and no call, email, or contact of any kind. I even attempted to contact Roy E. Carroll II, who owns R.E. Carroll, to privately inform him of the failures of one of his properties without publicly shaming him/his company/its subsidiaries. He did not respond. The gym equipment is often unusable, as it is not kept in working condition.* The front gate has been broken for the majority of the time we've lived here.* The pool is frequently closed.* In other words, the "amenities" provided don't actually exist as described. *Interestingly enough, the lease explicitly says that none of the amenities are guaranteed, but they don't point that out when you're signing, and of course, most people don't read the ten plus page legalese, so it goes unnoticed. However, I actually did read it and attempted to change it, but the management would not allow me to alter the lease. The trash compactor is often overflowing. During "office hours," if you will, there tends to not be anyone in the office. There is no current system to alert tenants that there is a package for them at the office. I've lived in several apartment complexes in my adult life, and this is by far the absolute worst. If you've read my entire review, you will have noticed that I did not use any absolutes (always/never; "worst" is relative to the other 4 apartment complexes in which I have dwelled). I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bromley, but I am also an intelligent, level headed person. Please take this into consideration when you are deciding whether to move here. Do not live here.
Property Manager at Bromley Village, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your duplicate response and thorough review which helps alerts us to concerns in our community that need improvement. We regret that you're disappointed, especially regarding our leasing policy and the responsiveness of our team. However, our fitness center as well as the trash compactor are completely functional. We have sent reoccurring e-blast emails to residents how to properly use the compactor. The office is open everyday and the Bromley team is in the office unless touring. and Your words aren't lost on us and we plan to address these concerns as soon as possible. Please contact us at info@recarrollmanagement.com at your earliest convenience.
Bromley Village is a terrible place to live. The staff is forever changing, management has changed twice in the last year. The office staff is very rude and condescending. Maintenance requests takes forever if they ever get done. They claim this is a gated community, but the gate has been open since I've moved in. Anyone can drive through our "gated community". The gym sucks. All the machines are outdated and on its last legs. Machines barely work, and it's only about 3 machines. The pool took forever to open this year. It was opened May 26th. Autumn (a newly hired office worker) told everyone they had to get out the pool because children were jumping in the pool. The were a few kids were jumping, not diving, in the 5 feet section of the pool, which is normal for any pool, and it wasn't every child. I have a 7 and 12 year old that stay in the 2 ft section, that never jumped once, even though there are no rules stating children cannot jump in the pool. Their are pool rules posted poolside, and it doesnt say anything about "no jumping". Autumn did not speak to any of the adults that were poolside with their children. Then Autumn calls the police on the residence for enjoying the pool that we pay for. When the cops arrives, she tells them the kids are jumping the water. The cops tell her she can't do anything about that, then her story switched. She then tells the cops, it was because the adults had beers by the pool. Everyone exited the pool, but let her be aware of our frustrations about being booted from a pool that we pay for. Autumn tells the police to remove everyone from the pool area. I was literally having a BBQ with my family poolside. I was forced to take my raw food off the grill and to exit the pool area. Autumn Then tells my wife, the pool was never supposed to open in the first place. Management has been telling the residents since April the pool would be open Memorial Day Weekend, so now the pool wasn't supposed to be open? Autumn then comes out the office with 2 hand-written signs with magic marker stating "the pool is closed, per management". I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT! I CURRENTLY RESIDE HERE, AND IF I COULD BREAK MY LEASE WITHOUT PENALTY I WOULD. DO NOT MOVE HERE! IF I COULD 0 STARS I WOULD. Ezra is the only bright spot.

Great place to live, I have been a resident for 6 months and I really enjoy living here, Erica made my move in transition very easy, great amenities and I love the view from my apartment.
Not at all happy with my experience so far . One of the things I noriced about bromley from online was the gym & it saying accessible 24/7 :D yay right ?? Umm nope ! Just called to see how I access it and the lady tells me oh u didn't get a key fab for it I reply no she then says ok well I can TRY to find u one that works .. ??? Really ok hmm.. Then I say well how can I use the gym then ? She says , we can open it for u , I said I guys leave @ 5 so if I can't get up there before 5 I can't use it ? She says again yes but I will try to find a fab that works but idk if we have any ?? I said umm wow ok ? She never asks me which apartment I'm in ( just in case she "finds" one either ) ! Soooo basically I get off the phone with someone who obviously didnt care who I was or for my need to access the gym after 5pm! 24/7 gym access ?? Lol don't move here if u think your getting that .. So she MAY find a key for me or may not .. She didn't even ask my name in case she did so that would leave me to assume it's not likely . Also she didn't say stop buy this afternoon and I'll see what I can do ... Nothing but an , ok & bye ! Furthermore when I moved the tile floor in the apartment was filthy .. Cleaning crew obviously didn't make it to the master bathroom :( not a happy camper so far & this is my first week here.. Also I ran into another tenant as I was leaving the "closed " pool here today and he told me basically most Monday's the pool is closed all day Bc they have to clean it from the weekend mess left ?? Idk what could possibly take all day but sounded like to me no pool access on Mondays usually ! ... Just one more negative thing to add to the list :/
Horrible place. Have had our air / heat go out eight separate occasions during our lease and the year isn't up yet. They refuse to replace the bad unit. The apartments are cheaply made, walls and ceiling are uneven and peel. Carpets are disgusting as they refuse to replace them, they just shampoo and shampoo after every resident moves out. Office staff is unprofessional , rude and completely incompetent. Property Manager is this stuck up woman who needs a reality check. The ONLY reason these apartments rent out is due to the location, that's the only reason. They charge you a $15 maintenance fee that's on top of your rent, which is a joke. Also your water is sub metered, so if your building is full of families and you are a single person, you are paying for a lot of water consumption that you are not coming close to using. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I moved in march 2015 . all in all its been ok .. the amenities are weak ..ex.. garbage removal.. weight room no gas grills allowed or on premises to cook out.. also the rates just increased significantly to renew my lease .. not happy about that
I enjoy living here . The grounds are well maintained and the apartment itself is nice . Nice sized rooms, nice floors and countertops . The maintenance staff is always super friendly . My only complaint is the office staff is hard to get ahold of and not usually that friendly
