Property Ratings at Brook Lane Apartments
I was able to get in contact with someone before I applied. After I applied and paid the $40 fee they acted as if I was bothering them when I wanted to get an update about my application. I would call and could hear them answer the phone and quickly hang up. And whenever I did get in contact with someone they had an attitude. Moral of the story, don’t waste your time or money.
Poor property mangers, they find ways to add additional unknown fees to your rent. To many mail and package thefts, unsecured doors and halls. High rate of car thefts and breakins. This not a wheel assessable building definitely not for handicap or elderly. No coin operated washer or dryers. False advertising at its best
I've lived here for 11 years. Management has switched at least four times and gotten worse with every change. Maintenance is nonexistent. I've had a work order in for a busted door for over two months. There's been no lock on my building's front door for over three months. At least a dozen mailboxes are broken and have been for over a year. There's one working lightbulb in the lobby. People are constantly leaving furniture, mattresses, and trash all over the complex, both outside and inside the buildings. The management office doesn't answer emails or calls and doesn't return any either. The pool and "fitness center" haven't been open for almost four years. Yes, the rent is cheap, but you're certainly getting what you pay for.
They never answer the answer or email you back they are always charging services fee for things they don't even come to fix. The office is always closed and the outside grounds is covered in glass, dog poop, or garage. The hallways are smelly with stains the doorbells never work and people steal your packages! They basement has had standing water and a fly infestation with mold growing and they still haven't done anything. They charge you for the two pools and so called fitness area that no one can use. Would not recommend these apts went down hill.
The headline is the one great thing about this joint. Unless you like broken entry doors that random people come through. Smelly carpets in the common area. Psycho neighbors who play loud music at 3 am. Pics on site are straight up false advertisement. pools? okay, if you say so.
I've been trying for 2 or 3 weeks now to even get more information about this apartment. I have emailed probably 5 or 6 times and called them probably at least a dozen times and no one ever answers me back it's almost like they don't want to rent to people!!!
I’ve been staying in brooklane since March and it’s been the best I love the community area it’s a quite environment if I have any problems DeAnna In office is always there to help shes been a huge help with the help of her I have no concerns because I know it’s going to be token care of she’s very understanding I truly appreciate the opportunity of being a resident.
I recently moved in and my experience was great. The ladies in the office were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I especially like how Shon and the lady that does accounts worked with each other. The office was very busy but they handled everyone fairly. Big Thanks to them. Happy to call this my home!
I’ve live at Brook Lane multiple times in the last 10 years, it’s always been a pleasant living experience. Every where you live there will be issues that arise, what matters is how it’s handled. Since there’s been new management in place things have been ran a lot smoother and efficiently. Whether it’s a issue in my apartment that’s needs to be fixed or just a concern, request are answered right away. The new manager Ms. Sonteria always does follow ups to make sure work is done and that I’m satisfied, that’s what you need in apartment manager and I appreciate that. Brook Lane is lucky to have someone that cares about the complex like she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend someone to move here.
Brooklane Apartments has it all. Not only are the apartments nice and have all the amenities (grills, pool, workout room etc) but the management cares. Management puts on resident get togethers, very timely in response to questions, and just does the little things. Highly recommend this apartment that is in such a great area.
Definitely a lesson learned, would rent here again
Luckily my lease is almost up. Moved into a dirty apartment. Said it was the “policy to have the apartments cleaned.” Paid so much money for cleaning supplies. The tub had hair in it, floors filthy, grease all over the kitchen, walls dirty. But hey- it has new carpet( be careful when you walk the staples like your feet). Asked to talk to the management multiple times. Never once received a call- it’s been almost a year. Have had nothing but issues since moving here. Pool has been closed down- didn’t tell residents there was a bullet shell found in the pool. I’ve been lied to by management and by maintenance. Office staff doesn’t call back. Laundry room is disgusting. Doesn’t look like it gets cleaned. You pay money a environmental fee, community etc for a property that is not kept up. Would not recommend moving here.
Clean amenities and friendly office staffs. Safe and quiet neighborhood
Due to a time crunch with moving, I had to move into a 1 bdrm without seeing it beforehand. I did tour the complex and saw the 2 bdrm model. I was not disappointed when I saw my apt on move in day. The major selling point for me was the indoor pools, one in my building and one in the fitness center at the middle of the complex. The office staff is also very nice, they know the renters by name. I am pleased with the size of my apt for the price and the perks of living here like laundry rooms on first and second floors, make it a convenient choice.
