The first thing you'll appreciate about Grove City is its excellent location -- it's on the southwest side of Columbus, bordering I-270 and with I-71 located on the city's east side. With commutes to Downtown Columbus taking just 15 minutes, Grove City apartments are perfect for commuters. But once you start exploring, you'll quickly realize there's much more to love about Grove City than your commute time.
With Ohio State University just 10 miles away, college sports fans will appreciate being able to cheer on the Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium. Art lovers will appreciate the Short North Arts District, the Sommer House Gallery, and the Little Theatre off Broadway (paranormal enthusiasts will enjoy learning about the theater's ghost). Parents will appreciate the excellent schools and numerous parks, and history buffs will love the beautiful historic sites.

Property Ratings at Brookfield Village Apartments
I've lived here for a little shy of a year now. I moved in right before everything shut down due to Covid. I've had a few issues in my apartment (such as the freezer stopped working, a shelf in one of the closets was missing a supporting bolt, and the toilet lid broke off) but maintenance was quick to help! I have however had an issue with the fridge in my unit for months now and have since contacted the office about. Each time they send the same maintenance guy who always says it has a temperature control issue. Each time our freezer stops being cold making us have to throw away a lot of money worth of groceries which is very upsetting. After the first time it broke, he told us that we we're on the list to get a new fridge. He has since been back here 2 more times for the same issue and we are still stuck with the same fridge that works every once in a while and has cost us a lot of money in wasted groceries. There is preventative pest control every few months where someone comes to spray for bugs which I really appreciate. I've only ever seen stink bugs in my apartment the whole time I've been living here. With all those positives being said, there are 2 downsides. The parking here is AWFUL. There aren't enough spots for everyone. Up front by the office, there are about 10-15 visitor parking spots if that and then another 10 (if that) being spread out throughout the entire complex. Every person that lives here gets a tag that we have to display in our cars windshield. If it's not displayed, it will get towed, or so they say. I've never seen a car get towed (except for my girlfriends which was wrongfully towed due to an error on the company who repaved the parking lot). It sucks coming home late at night and all of the spots out in front of your building are taken and you have to walk super far at night in the dark, while a lot of the spots are full of cars that don't have tags in their windshield. There should be at least 2 spots minimum per apartment (since they're 2 bedrooms). Another issue that happens every once in a while is that there is only one dumpster. Yes, the dumpster here is huge and is also a trash compactor, but, it still gets full and all residents just throw there trash up the ramp and around the compactor on the ground. It doesn't bother me as much because I'm not near the compactor, but I can imagine for the people that do live near it, it stinks and attracts animals from the near by woods.

I have lived here just shy of a year and my experience has been awful. I'm currently fighting a huge trash problem with the management of this property. There are bags of trash lying around the compactor constantly which has caused a rat problem. Before you sign a lease with this property you should know that they charge a trash fee which is laughable seeing as their trash service does not function. I will be leaving this scam of a property as soon as possible. Think twice before moving here.

Brookfield Village thanks you for the compliment and sharing your thoughts with others. Our staff works to provide the greatest customer service experience from the office to the maintenance. If you know of anyone looking for a new home Brookfield Village has a great resident referral program. Just make sure they mention your name when they stop in to tour. We appreciate you!
I have lived here almost a year and about to sign for another year. The staff is very helpful and really make you feel like this is home for you. Updated counter tops and cabinets really won this decision for me to come here in the first place. Its a nice apartment community that offers a lot. Gym, Pool, Community Events, and close to 270 from Georgesville or Grove City side. If your looking for an apartment in Grove City, i would highly recommend Brookfield Village.
Greetings, We have only lived here for a few months and cannot wait until our lease is up to move yet again. They are truly under staffed with only 1 maintenance guy that does not have a strong knowledge of fixing things. Also, one of the leasing agents just returned recently from maternity leave and only had 1 other leasing agent that was here during that period of time. This community needs happier and friendlier staff!! I am looking forward to the future at a much better place and touch of country in the city.
