We were enjoying our apartment until new tenants moved in upstairs and have had to file multiple noise complaints. There has been no resolution of the situation yet. Would give our apartment five stairs if it wasn't for our current situation, but the quiet hours aren't being enforced. We're still waiting to be able to get a good nights sleep again.

It’s a nice apartment, though I would highly suggest not moving in during the summer as the prices are MUCH higher compared to the winter prices. If you move in, I highly suggest being incredibly thorough when initially checking for existing damage as there are many places you can miss.

The tenant portal is unreliable and cause for much frustration including, especially, incorrect accounting for calculations of monthly rent and fees. The numbers don't match up even between the tenant account by two different room mates and the office has yet another set of numbers to go by. Time is wasted and frustration generated because one must devote time to resolve the issues the raised. You can't ignore it because late fees are added (that the office will retract, but the portal doesn't reflect. it, so everyone has a different set of numbers). The difference in amounts is not insignificant. We write checks for our rent because the portal terms of service provide that the third party handling the matters has full access to your bank account information, not just for the transaction, but your entire bank account deposits and debits (checks, ATM, withdrawals), everything. The terms, if you agree to do it electronically, provide they can sell all of your banking information!

It’s been great living here so far. I barely hear the neighbors and the people I’ve met so far a really nice. The only thing is that I went to check my mail for the first time yesterday and it was all for the previous tenant.

Love our apartment layout. It's very functional for being a one bedroom. And now that it's cold out it's been great being able to use the gym they provide. So far everyone has been polite and friendly. Sometimes things get noisy but it hasn't been terrible. That's normal with so many people living in close proximity.

I love my apartment and the surrounding area. All the stores are easily accessible. The building is fairly quiet and so far, quite safe. I've only lived here for 6 months.

This apartment complex is perfect! The spaces are quite nice and I feel safe in the neighborhood. We chose the one bedroom, one bathroom complex and it includes plenty of space for our items.

I've been living here almost a year and love it so far! Great neighbourhood, and plenty of nearby green space for my dog! The folks that live here are kind and friendly people, the maintenance crew is top notch, I have all new appliances and a great space here that works well for me as a student. I've never had such new and nice appliances or a walk-in closet with so much space and storage for my things... it's so nice living here. Very happy with Brooklyn West!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! It’s a well taken care of community with the place staying clean and the landscaping doing an amazing job!! The rent is too high for not having very many amenities. Taking our ability to bbq and cook food and live like we want to live makes me want to move to some of the new housing that being built and is much cheaper to rent and live better. The added fees every month to live here should have all been incorporated with the higher rent. I have lived here since they were opened and unfortunately all the extra fees is pushing me to want to move.

Noise of tenants above you is an unsolvable problem due to the type of construction used. Parking is a problem unless you pay extra for a covered space. While pets are allowed, landscaping is very poorly maintained. Nearby neighborhood provides area for pleasant walks with walkable access to grocery and drug store. Lease terms are detailed (40 plus pages). Lease does not allow for month-to-month when term is up without a huge rate increase,; you must sign a new lease to get/keep the cost in the same ballpark. Remodeled units present well, all appliances are entry-level models. Ceiling lighting is really harsh, with only a few lights dimmable. For the price, I really thought the place would be nicer than it's turned out to be. Lots of dust coming from new construction to the west (through no fault of this apartment complex), but will be negatively impacting us for at least another year.

Brooklyn west is a great apartment complex I have never felt so welcome and same thing with my kiddos. Everyone I have met has bein friendly and even introduce themselves and that is something I’m not use to so I honestly would recommend the Brooklyn west to everyone

Well so far my apartment community it great havnt had a complaint nor have I needed a complaint. Everyone is down to earth and respectful even with their dogs it’s nice seeing a community respect each other the way this community does

Although prices are a Little high there is great communication with the office and a very peaceful living space. You aren't bugged by neighbors much so it's mostly quiet. The communal area is kept nice and beautiful.

I absolutely love it here. neighbors are kind and office staff is always helpful. the coffee bar and gym are a huge plus! the view is also unbeatable!!

I’ve had a great first couple weeks here! I’ve got plenty of room and have made the new place feel so cozy! Just tried the gym the other day and it was great!

We just moved in and the process was super easy and efficient. For the price I was expecting it to be a small space but that is not what we got at all. The living room is very spacious and the kitchen as so much counter space, perfect for making meals at home. Lots of great perks too, the club house is neat and I can't wait to try out the gym. One thing that could be better is the grassy areas for our animals to use. It's small areas that are out of the way or wood chips that they don't like to go on. However, so far it's been adequate for outside time.

These apartments are super spacious and clean. Maintenance is always fast to respond. This is the best complex i’ve ever lived in! Love it here.

I love it here! Great apartment with everything I need and plenty of space. My only complaints are hearing planes go over the building and that the ac unit can’t cool off the bedrooms.
