Property Ratings at Brookside Park Apartments
At first glance you can see that the buildings are not new, but you also can't help but notice how well the grounds are maintained. I never had any major problems, but when I had any questions, Tracy and her staff were very courteous and professional.
We lived at Brookside Park Apts fir. 8 years. It is a beautifully maintained apt complex. The grounds are lovely, and not a dog poop to be found. I found the maintenance dept to be prompt and helpful . When my microwave broke I got a another one, when blinds didn’t work, they replaced them, when the garage door mis functioned I got an upgraded garage door opener. Who does that? They regularly check yr smoke alarms and free carpet cleaning yearly for the asking. Tracy and her staff were most attentive and friendly. I give them 5 stars !
The Apartment was infested with Roaches?? this apartment has not been remodeled sense this building was built The apartment is not worth the price The staff is uncaring I’ve never seen them leave the office to visualize what tenants problems are. The tenants pay different rent for the same apartment size Find a better place to live that is worth the price. And better class staff.
Cheap paint and cheap water pipes. Flooring is sagging.. surprisingly not falling through. Management will enforce rules before you move in. They make all residents sign off on these mandated house rules. But apparently only a few oblige these rules. I am not able to open my windows due to neighbors smoking in their garage with the door open. Stinking is the whole area. While their cars were parked in front their garage all night. If you want parking in the complex area. Forget it. Everyone leaves their spare cars in there and never moves them. There is a mandated 7 day only parking then you gotta move it. But they don't care about that either
I have been living here in my two bedroom apartment since 2008. It has been a great place to be a single mom. Raised my two boys we always had a great time at the clean pools. My boys really enjoyed the basketball half court would play there till I called them in for dinner. The garage was one of my favorites to get in car when it's in the 100"s and car still be nice inside is wonderful. Having the park like setting is nice to be able to walk or jog/run is nice to get the exercise on. I would recommend this place to anyone but it's really nice for raising children. Lots to do and close to everything.
Brookside Park apartments is a great place to live. Nice size units with garages is a plus. Townhouse have W/D hookups and attached garages. The grounds are kept up and clean nice to take walks. 6 pools and Basket ball court and tennis court and play ground! Maintanice keeps on top of work orders. Over all great area of Redlands to live I would definitely recommend anyone to come check them out!!!
I thought I was going to give them a good review, other than the spiders and other bug issues… I have never had cockroaches in my life (other than here)…I packed very carefully, and I no longer have bugs…Phew!! The maintenance staff is nice and quick to fix most things. **My oldest son moved in as I was moving out, because we did not laps in tenancy, they do not give out the $100.00 referral. (He lives on the other side, and in the first 2 months, found his first brown recluse) I was told, (I am sure in the tenancy agreement it reads 3 years, my bad) I asked and believed the 2 years I was told. That if I painted the walls, so long as I was there 2 years I would not be charged a re-painting fee. I was there 25.5 months. *Fee I, upon leaving vacuumed (I did not clean the carpet) and cleaned all the floors. But I guess I missed the oven, $130.00 (full cleaning fee) charged. By the way, I had to have them fumigate several times for brown recluses, I found 5 over 12 months. I was bit, my arm was hot and swollen for two weeks; that was 6 months ago, I still have bad scaring from it. I stayed because the 2 bed room w/attached garage was a good price, after two years the rent went up 20%. It was no longer a value to be in such a small space that I shared with so many creepy crawlies.
I just recently moved into a townhouse in this complex (less than 30 days) and am not very pleased with both the condition of the townhouse and the grounds around. Maybe I'm being too critical and maybe I'm not, I haven't lived in an apartment complex in years. First of all the unit has two story I'm in and the master bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. The first thing I had to deal with was the window A/C in that bedroom. The A/C was so loud and rattling I couldn't even hear my radio when I went to bed. I had to complain and they did send maintenance and he said they would have to get a new one. I waited almost 2 weeks and because of the heat had to contact management again and they finally did put a new one in. What a difference. However because of the age of the buildings it has single window panes and when either the downstairs or upstairs A/C goes on it only keeps it cool for a couple minutes and then turns on again. I'm dreading my electric bill not to mention the waste of energy. Another problem that was also fixed after the 2nd notification was one downstairs window wouldn't lock shut. Another complaint is with the yard maintenance, when they do the grass one guy comes by with a blower and blows dirt and tree droppings under my fence that surrounds my patio. And after watching this guy all he does is walk around blowing everything around and doesn't even blow it all to an area to clean it up. Just makes it look. These are my main complaints, there are other small things, doors sticking, berry droppings from tree above patio (I have to clean up daily or they will stain the carpet, weather stripping on doors leaking and so on. I do feel this place is over priced for what you get. The only plus is I have a garage however do have to pay for it.
Spacious 3 bedroom townhome with a 2 car garage. One full bed and bath downstairs allows for private feel. While the unit is larger than most in the area, the buildings are old and the central air is not so central. Upstairs stays hot most of the time. Upstairs has unusual design. The floors squeak and the walls are thin. Nice sized patio.
