Property Ratings at Brookwood Villas
We're going through an issue in our apartment with a huge water leak in the wall between our bedroom and bathroom. This is the second major water leak we've had in the same wall. Upon the plumbers cutting into the wall we could see the inside of the wall filled with mold. I am seven months pregnant and had to leave the apartment due to health concerns. Since we had to vacate there has been a lapse in communications, delays, no estimated time of completion for repairs and they're refusing to offer rent compensation for the time we are unable to live in the apartment which will be 2-4 weeks! We aren't even asking for relocation costs, simply for a credit on our rent for the time our unit was uninhabitable and they're refusing even that or to offer any other solution for us to have an inhabitable apartment. Day 12 update: There is still no update as to when construction will even begin let alone end on our unit. We have been unable to safely inhabit our apartment for almost two weeks. No other solutions have been offered to have an inhabitable apartment. Still no update on any type of rent credit for the time we are unable to reside in the apartment this month. This is all despite me reaching out via phone call and email multiple times a day.
I have lived at Brookwood villas a total of 7 years. Two of those years back in 2010, and then the past five till current. Over the years I’ve always felt I could call these apartments home. They are clean, safe, walkable to parks, good schools and the office is extremely responsive. I’ve been through an entire property renovation while living here. The property was communicative, quick, and mindful of the impact a renovation has on the residents. The leasing director Erika is someone that is personable, reliable, friendly and transparent. She has gone above and beyond for my family time and time again. The property does an amazing job at keeping the grounds immaculate. The response from maintenance is super quick, usually less than 24 hours for non urgent and asap for urgent. The property is located in a great part of Corona, it is very easy to get to OC and LA. There are most stores on Ontario Ave. I highly recommend doing a walk thru and checking out brookwood villas. It will always be “home” to me.
We have been living here for a few months and love it so far! We had a few issues maintenance wise but they responded so quickly and fixed our issues fast. Friendly front office staff as well.
The first thing I noticed upon moving in is how helpful the staff were. They seemed like they genuinely cared about my children’s and my needs. After moving in, every time we saw any of the staff in passing, they acknowledged not just me, but each of my kids by name. They are friendly and authentic. I’ve never had problems and have always had my questions answered and needs met promptly while living here. If I weren’t moving out of state already I would absolutely renew my lease.
They work hard at making the place feel like home for everyone . Friendly managing staff and there maintained is on point .
Highly liking where I chose to make my home!! :) Love that it’s very peaceful, and safe since there is lighting all over. Haven’t seen a single roach as others claim for other apartments. Also looking forward to the new club gym that is opening in 2020!
What I think makes this complex special are the people that work here! They always greet you with a smile and if you need something fixed it gets resolved quickly. The grounds are well kept and there's plenty of parking. From leasing to maintenance you couldn't find a nicer bunch of people
My family and I lived at these apartments for a year and during my time there I had my car broken into, Management complained about people leaving they're car parked in they're own stall and not moving it. Cars being "too dirty" and threaten people with tow notices. Worst of all when we moved out we asked if everything was fine with the apartment management said yes, and they'd let us know about giving us back our deposit. Not only did we not get our deposit back they hit us with fees for "repainting the apartment, replacing carpet" and I only found out about it because they sent the bill out to collections which damaged my credit. They did this instead of just contacting me and letting me know of the issue. Of course they had our cellphone numbers since we lived there for a year. Tried to submit reviews on other sites but most other sites they've disabled reviews due to people's poor reviews..i.e. Rent.com
I think the title says it all but we love this place, the management is friendly, the maintenance crew is responsive and fast! The grounds are well kept. Our only complaint is that the apartments are a bit on the lacking storage side. Would highly recommend living here though.
The first thing that struck me when I was touring this community is how much pride the management takes in the community. The woman showing me around picked up a wrapper from the ground as we were walking through the tour path, and it's those subtle details that make a big impression. The community is very well kept and landscaped, and offer plenty of amenities for residents (my favorite is the dog park). The only issue I had was that the apartment smelled of cigarette smoke from a previous tenant, and I requested that the management and maintenance team do whatever they could to get rid of the smell, along with some other cosmetic fixes to the apartment, prior to me moving in. Unfortunately they didn't get around to doing any of that, and the apartment still has the cigarette odor that I'm trying hard to get rid of. I have the maintenance team coming this weekend to fix the other issues, and they have been very responsive and accommodating otherwise.
Nice complex with a house like feel. This complex beats other complexes within a 2 miles radius. Has washer and dryer in the units.
This is the perfect building If you want friendly neighbors, a fantastic maintenance team and a wonderful safe living environment. If you are a "health buff," this is the perfect building for you; with it's fitness center, racquetball court and tennis court. Now if you are just looking to relax and soak up the sun; this building has an amazing pool and spa to offer with BBQ stations conveniently positioned all throughout the complex. This five star apartment building is gated, has a beautiful water fountain at the entrance, and is animal friendly; so friendly that this building has its own very clean, large and fun dog park. For those with families, there are exceptional elementary, middle and high schools all within walking distance. Not to mention grocery shopping has never been easier; when the grocery store is a quarter of a mile away. If you want to have some family fun at a gorgeous park, well lucky you! There are multiple parks within walking distance that have all the things needed to have a great time. Once again for those "fitness buffs" there is a fitness park around the corner that has a track to run on and a obstacle course ranging from wall jumping, rope climbing, monkey bars, the list goes on! For those with hobbies, you have a huge patio, option of a garage and a hobby shop within walking distance. There is still so much amazing things to write about this gorgeous property, but my fingers would fall off it I tried to write them all down. The best option is to try it out for yourself and you will see no other apartment can compare. You get the opportunity to live a great life without burning a whole in your wallet. A place like this encourages you to want to live well!
I'm only joking. This place has been GREAT so far. This is our first time moving out into an apartment complex and the staff at Brookwood Villas have been nothing short of wonderful. Although we have only been living in the apartment for a week or so, I'm sure we chose the right apartment in Corona, CA.
I was pleased with the staff and despite being extremely busy, they paid attention to each and every person visiting. I really liked the overall look and feel of these and they are one of my top picks for when I move.
