Property Ratings at Brownstone at the Biltmore
I have lived at these Townhouses for 5 months now and this is my honest review: Although it is close to the high school the students pose not threat to the area. There is however a home around the corner which brings an element of shady people who tend to loiter along the Townhouse property. The grounds are landscaped weekly however there are many dogs in the area an a bunch of irresponsible pet owners so there is dog poop everywhere!!! The units themselves are spacious but the management is really lousy. And when I say lousy it ranks atop the worst I have ever dealt with in 35 years of renting and owning. There is always something not functioning in the unit from lighting to simple fixtures to broken cabinet drawers, broken screens etc. Sadly, the maintenance is mediocre to poor. It seems to take forever to get anything taken care of. In the 5 months that I have lived here I have not had a fully functioning stove, the dishwater is in need of a top rack, The front door needs new weather striping and I can go on. These units are aesthetically beautiful but beware!!!! They are pricey for what you get and you may never have a fully functioning unit
