The historic Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood sits just between downtown Indianapolis and the Broad Ripple Village in an area known as Mid-North Indy. What began as a rural village located about three miles outside Indianapolis has developed into a popular suburb where Tudor, Colonial Revival, and Arts and Crafts architecture still line the streets. New residents continually move to the trendy neighborhood, drawn by its beauty and excellent location. This mixed-use neighborhood contains a variety of shops, businesses, grocery stores, restaurants, and parks.

Property Ratings at Buckingham & Balmoral
Lived here for a little over a year, the property is very beautiful and easy to navigate. The fiber internet that the property provides is very high quality and affordable. It is very quiet, and the noise level is at a minimum (considering how busy the road is) Very close to downtown ~ 10 mins traffic depending. The maintenance staff are very helpful and quick to respond, and the property manager is very nice and quick to respond as well. The only gripe I have is the crime level that is associated with this area, and the amount of break-ins that happened even inside the gated parking. But, this is no fault to the property at all, and I could see this decreasing in the years to come. Overall, a good property and I would highly recommend it.
Property Manager at Buckingham & Balmoral, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback, good or bad we like to know how our Resident's feel.
I have been living here for just over half a year and have to say that it has been a pretty good experience. My roommate and I moved from downtown when our previous apartment management took a downturn and we no longer wanted to stay. Matt and the maintenance crew have always been extremely helpful and accommodating. We have never had to wait very long for any requested maintenance, including having our outlets swapped out.
Affordable, basic updates and close to everything. There is no padding under the carpet so it's very squeaky and it's easy to hear upstairs neighbors walking around. The front doors need to be redone. There is lots of space all around the door and almost half an inch under the door making it very noisy when people come in and out of the small hallway. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear people talking sometimes, especially if they are loud or having a party. I hope they invest more and do some soundproofing updates. A lot of college students in the complex so there are 2-3 parties a week, especially on holidays. People will not complain too much about the student parties but you will get noise complaints about dogs that do the average amount of barking. Therefore, it is better to have a dog that does not bark very much (like more than 1 minute). There are dog bags and a decent size bark park. Overall not too bad if you get get neighbors and you take measures to soundproof you door.
Nice staff and property well maintained, but the apartments are old and have paper thin walls. You can hear your neighbors conversations and the music they are playing. If you are seeking a place to live in peace and quiet, look elsewhere.
My townhouse has a ton of room and is incredibly close to everything in Indy- easy to get downtown or to Fountain Square and the staff id very friendly.
