Washington Park is located on the South Side of Chicago, and is named after the park located in it. The park has been the setting of many literature novels – its unique and breathtaking features include the historic DuSable Museum, Fountain of Time fountain, and the National Guard Armory.
The Bud Billiken Parade is a popular festival for the Washington Park locals. Every summer, the city’s cricket team faces off in a championship tournament within the park. Residents are just a short drive away from the University of Chicago campus. Many restaurants and bars reside here, close to Interstate 90.
