Located only 10 miles southeast of downtown Miami and connected to the mainland by the Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne Village provides residents with a relaxing, true island-living lifestyle. It is the population center of this most southerly of Florida's barrier islands with which it shares its name. The island offers four beaches that all lie within easy walking distance to apartment residents of the village. The largest of these beaches, Crandon Park, enjoys the distinction as the most popular. Dog owners can walk their leashed pets at Hobie Beach, and the warm climate creates the perfect settings for enjoying the beach all year long.
Key Biscayne Village also offers several hot spots for dining, including Putino Key Biscayne, a fine Italian restaurant. For more casual dining, residents have the option of Pita Pockets, which offers food prepared fresh daily using produce from local farmers.
