Dubbed "the community that Disney built," Celebration is a fantasy: beautiful homes, mature trees, tidy sidewalks, white picket fences, tropical foliage, and meticulously maintained parks. One of the neighborhood's main streets, World Drive, connects the community with the Magic Kingdom. Planned by Walt Disney World in the 1990s, Celebration is very walkable -- and you'll want to walk, just to soak in the natural beauty of the community.
Stroll along Water Street -- a tree-lined greenway with a creek, sidewalks, and benches -- from the Celebration Golf Club to the Town Square. Resembling Disney's Main Street, this brick-paved shopping and dining district contains sidewalk cafes, cozy boutiques, and terrific restaurants. Across the street from the square, you'll find Celebration Lakeside Park, a large park featuring a lake, rocking chairs, a fountain, and a swimming pool.
Ideal for anyone working at Disney World, the theme park is directly north of Celebration.
