The intersection of Route 29 and Gallows Road has been reinvented as a 31-acre mixed-use development known as the Mosaic District. This area, named to honor the many different neighborhoods that encircle Merrifield, features shops, restaurants, a modern film center, a hotel, and office and residential space.
