Situated on a barrier island off of Long Island’s South Shore, Long Beach is known as the “City by the Sea,” with more than three miles of white-sand beaches and a vibrant boardwalk stretching over two miles long. Beach culture is especially prevalent, with popular activities such as swimming and surfing in the sea, as well as biking and jogging on the boardwalk.
Long Beach is home to a close-knit community. Residents come together for a wide variety of events, including the Annual Arts and Crafts Fair held on the boardwalk every year. Visitors flock to Long Beach in the summertime while the winter months tend to be quieter. However, apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses are all available for rent in Long Beach year round. Quick access to the Long Island Rail Road connects residents to the many metropolitan delights of New York City.
