Neighborhood

Hillsboro Beach is an idyllic coastal community occupying the southern half of Deerfield Cay. Florida’s historic State Road A1A serves as the only major thoroughfare, locally known as “Millionaires’ Mile” due to the numerous swanky estates in the area. The community is almost entirely residential, with the local rental market ranging from beachfront mansions to high-rise condos.

Nowhere in town is more than a few short steps from the ocean, allowing everyone to live the beach lifestyle to the fullest. The nearest commercial district sits a few blocks north of town, with several restaurants, bars, and shops clustered around the foot of the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier; a smaller shopping plaza sits just across the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge. At the southern tip of the island, the Hillsboro Club is a popular hangout for many locals, and the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse serves as an iconic emblem for the community.
