Property Ratings at Bull Mountain
Very responsive people, helpful and the best at what they do.
If your looking for a clean, refurbished place that?s got all the amenities and in a 2 mile driving distance of all your needs This is it! If your a heavy smoker and don?t have plans to quit it?s not,
I love the place and despite the frustrations above I think it seems like a great place to live
I LOVE my place, but my family still cant believe I pay to park or that there is no handicap parking (Besides the 1 up at the office) There are no kids toys all over, there is a walking trail I never have to drive more than 2 miles to get anything!
I live in fear that something will go wrong and it will take days/weeks and/or I will have to contact the office several times to get someone in to fix it! Even before COVID, it has been very slow in getting a maintenance person in to help. I think the last request I made was the first time in nearly 3 years someone came in and fixed something in a timely manner. I understand it is difficult to get hired help these days, however, this has been an on going problem that began once the property management changed the last time (again around 3 years ago). It's also frustrating to not receive a response to emails at times or when no one is in the office and I have to leave a message with the answering service who must never forward messages since I don't always get a call back. I will say this, Vanessa is always very nice and professional.
I first liked moving here because the apt. Allows direct TV satellite TV. And you Allows big dogs.but my big dog passed away. I just don't know how long I can stay in apt. Or how many years I can live in one apt.hope I can live here for many years too come.
I think all Mountain Heights feels like home
I would recommend this apartment community. It's clean, safe, and in a convenient location.
Very clean and well kept community.
Good, convenient location, good management, clean and safe apartment community.
BMH is a well maintained community and the apartment is by far the nicest I've ever lived in. However, I've been SUPER unimpressed with the management.
I don't ow how the other units look but I really like everything about mine with the view, high ceilings, wood floors, fireplace, balcony, stainless steel appliances, wood blinds and everything I need is so close to drive too!!
Very nice and new. Clean and kept up. Maintenance is quick. Bad during winter. Very little parking and narrow parking.
I have lived here for almost a year now and love it. Great location, friendly staff, safe and secure. Very happy I chose these apartments

yes
It's good community and close by pretty much everything. The only thing disappointed me was all the charges/fees when moving out. I lived there for 8 months. I cleaned the apartment very well. Even cleaner when I moved in. But I still get these charges: 1. $75 for carpet cleaning. I am ok with this charge. 2. $100 cleaning. The manager said I left it with clean condition. The charged me $100 instead of $135. Only $35 off. Which I was very disappointed. I cleaned the apartment very good. It was cleaner when I moved in. 3. $75 painting. I was there short time. Not a single mark on the wall. Basically, I like the place but just disappointed with all the moving out fees.
It's a great place. Well maintained & office personnel (Janell) is great! My apartment is wonderful. I love it here!!
Difficulty in contacting the management. Everything else is satisfactory at this point.
Moved out early October and have been in a constant battle with getting my deposit back. We left the place in perfect condition. They first lost my keys when I returned them, told me that I never sent in a latter letting them knew I was not going to be renewing our lease for the following year which they did later later found 2 MONTH LATER. Had us in month to month which I called multiple times that we no longer lived there and didn’t even have the keys. They have broken the Oregon law of not returning our deposit with in 31 days of moving out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT MOVING HERE! They are crazy over priced for there location and it’s obvious they do not care out there residents!!
Pinnacle Management won't answer emails about leases and fees, but has no problem answering when their grand opening of the new clubhouse is. They will charge you fees without giving you a heads up, then charge you a late fee when you try to clear it up but get no answer. Maintenance is on the ball. Very quick to fix things. Grounds are maintained every Tuesday at 9 am rain or shine. Sometimes they clean the dog hair and dust balls out of the stairwells. The fire alarms haven't been fixed--the main alarm in our building chirps every few minutes, but you only hear this outside. There is no security. We had a license plate stolen off our car. Although, I will say people leave their garages open on accident and things seem to stay in place. The kids play in the parking lot (the new dog park is centrally located, but the kids play structure is up by the office) and sometimes they "graffiti" with chalk (we got a community email about that) or beat the crap out of property. The apartments are spacious, lots of storage. The floorplan is pleasantly different than many other apartments. They're remodeling a lot of the units. The water pipes in most of the buildings have burst over the last couple of years, so many buildings have new pipes. Meanwhile, we're paying house-sized water bills. The shower stalls creak in every unit (read other reviews). The units are not soundproof. The lady upstairs is a five foot nothing waif and we hear her run back and forth all the time. I can tell what toy her dog is playing with. The only reason we're here is for the elementary school

I feel the apartments are kept up pretty well. Service needs are handled pretty quickly. My only issue with the grounds is that people are constantly smoking and I have to walk around it and through it. Reminders to folks might be good and taking complaints seriously about smoking and noise could improve quite a bit. All around, I would recommend the community at this point. The smoking is probably a pretty common issue.

This is a great community for commuters as it's close to 1-5 and HWY 217 (which gets you to 26 and 205). It's a 30 minute drive to the airport, and 20 minutes to downtown Portland. While it's right off the Pacific Highway, it's not too noisy and gives easy access to multiple malls--Washington Square is 4 miles away, Bridgeport Village is 6--and Safeway is 1/2 mile away, Haggen is 2 miles away, WinCo and Fred Meyer about 5 miles. The management company has changed hands a couple of times in the time I've been here, but there doesn't seem to have been many issues. All maintenance issues (of which I've had very few) I've had have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Landscaping crews are here once a week and garbage is picked up twice a week. The grounds are usually pretty clean (there are sometimes issues with people not cleaning up after their dogs, but that doesn't seem to happen very often). Neighbors are respectful, and the noise seems to be kept to a minimum after 10pm, and there are few issues with parking. The gym could use some updating, but the pool and spa are well maintained and open for a majority of the year.
