Don't live here, they promise and don't deliver, the manager is very rude, I applied and they never showed me the apartment I could live in, they only get you excited with a sample one... I asked them to return the $180 I paid, so I went back and forth. for 3 weeks and they never opened the pool or the gym either.
If you like the worst customer service in the world and nothing being fixed in months until you bug them everyday for a few weeks, then this is the place for you!
Theres a bad Roach problem! It was so bad my Son refused to cook.They came out like you invited them to dinner..while we were there,not just when lights were out.Also be aware these super old buildings aren’t insulated well or something because you can hear everything your neighbors do.We had a couple that argued all the time and we could hear their personal business. Lastly when we moved out,we got charged for the partial month & the following month for everything even though I left it super clean! They charged for a full water,trash,sewage & pest control (which they hadn’t done in months).

Our issues began before we even moved in. We asked for a 6 month lease and thankfully, we read everything we are sent because Arnold wrote the lease for a year. He blew it off as a mistake and fixed it. I have since learned that he has done this to several tenants to trap them into a longer lease. That aside, we have had maintenance requests in for the drain then entire time we’ve been here and still no plumber so still no draining, we have had pest control requests in for several months with only one visit, so there’s still roaches. We have made noise complaints and off leash dog ( who charge at us and are aggressive) complaints and nothing has been done about that resident. Finally, when the ceiling in the bathroom started raining, we have been left with a gaping hole under our neighbor’s toilet that, even after a plumber, is still open and leaking and still allowing access to our apartment for the bugs that pest control hasn’t treated. All we get are excuses and “we’ll look into it” and no results. Save your sanity and your money and look elsewhere.

If you have a dog you should absolutely under no circumstance rent here. I've lived here for 2 weeks and I've already had 4 unleashed dogs come up to me and my dog on our walks--2 of which were aggressive towards my 30 pound dog. Additionally, there dog park, and property in general is absolutely filled with dog poop, litter, cigarette butts, chicken bones, etc. Dog poop in the dog park has been there so long that it has began to turn white and chalky. I asked a week ago that at least the dog park be cleaned up and I know they've been receiving such requests much longer than I've been a resident here, but the requests have been ignored. Additionally the actual apartments are not the greatest either. First of all, I had bugs painted into the cabinets... how something like that happens is beyond me and I think speaks deeply to all the other issues with the property. All the drawers, cabinets, and doors are either hard to close or don't close fully because instead of replacing the obviously damaged cabinets etc. they just covered them with exceedingly thick coats of paint. The space dedicated for a washer and dryer is much smaller than most washer and dryers, so unless you have smaller units, they won't be able to fit through the frame. Honestly, even with the lowered prices with the rent special, the rent is still too high, and I'm shocked that the rent was ever any higher than it is. There are many options nearby of much higher quality and similar prices, and if I could I would honestly break my lease today. Please please please save yourself the grief and rent elsewhere.

Do not live at Bungalow 09, it will be a huge regret. Maintenance is a joke. Office staff is an even bigger joke. Walls literally leak and crumble and they do nothing. They will overcharge you and not issue a refund. This place was a complete nightmare.

Roaches, neighbors constantly yelling, Cops getting called. The staff was ALWAYS rude. Never cared about your problems. I talked to them when I was planning on moving in, if I would be getting a bathroom with a tub and one of the bigger backyards. No bathtub, smallest of smallest backyard, where the femce didn't even close. When moving out they charged me ridiculous and unnecessary amount of things.when I called NUMEROUS times, they never gave me a straight answer. Said they would call me back and it's been over a month and they haven't called me back still. They either never answer or make horribke excuses. Worst staff I have ever dealt with. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS.

Was told we would be getting a refund for $250 but have not received it yet. It's been 4 weeks. We were told by Michael that we could transfer over to the Beverly amd we'd receive our refund in 2-4 weeks. The leasing agent that worked with us is no longer there and he never took us out of the system. So they're still showing that were moving in next month. Thank God we never signed the lease because there's no telling how much crap we'd have to go through to break it. I could never get a call back anyway. They never answer their phones when I call. Terrible service and the apartment they offered us is even more sorry. The yard wasn't maintained at all and it was half the size of what we were expecting. There were dips in the hardwood floors when we were touring apartments. They don't have standard washer dryer hookups, they have to be stackable. When we toured the property the second time there was a car on cinder blocks. Someone stole their tires. This place is too good to be true.

I rented apartment there since they have a yard, however, after moving in they informed me that the gate to the fence was broken and not attached. I got this place so my dog could securely roam the yard. I frequently asked them to fix the fence and after 6 months I had to give up my dog for security and liability reasons. I couldn't risk having my dog break through the propped up gate and get hit by a car. I mentioned after moving out that I should get a discounted\waived moving out free, however, they had no sympathy and was only interested in obtaining my money rather then leaving a client in good terms.
If you want to live in a roach and mouse infested apartment where the AC goes out once a week, then this is the place for you. The maintenance repairs are made to shut up the tenants for a week. I have the AC looked "repaired" at least twice a month. The electric bill has doubled due this poorly functioning AC. Maintenace asked that I "draw all blinds, do not cook and just be smart" to keep the apartment at the lowest possible setting 70. You call the office and no one is there to help.
These newly renovated apartments are barely renovated. If you end up getting the regular apartment instead of the designer all that is new are the kitchen appliances and hardwood floors. And the workmanship is a little shoddy. It is still a comfortable place to live with the open floor plan, but definitely spring for the designer. The location is absolutely perfect! It is central to pretty much everything in San Antonio. Everything is about 15-25 minutes away depending on traffic.
Bungalow 09 apartments are nestled in a good location. Only minutes away from the Quarry and easy access to the 410 and 281. The buildings themselves are fairly old which can cause headaches with Internet and plumbing. Despite the close proximity to the freeway and airport it's actually a very quiet and peaceful area. Would recommend springing for the designer apartments. I know I will be if I decided to reup on the lease.
We moved in a few months ago and are already moving out. The new office staff is rude, we have had 2 leaks for over a month with a two.huge brown stains on ceiling that have been fixed, when it rains it floods the kitchen because of outside door seal cracked. Both issues have not been fixed! The neighbors upstairs are absolutely horrible, no respect. There is wood floors so you hear everything!!!! Thank gooddness we are out of here within a week!!!
I moved into this apartment in May. The staff is great and very caring. The interiors of these apartments are amazing! They are building a new fitness center, computer area for the residents and several other amenities. For the price, this is great! Dog park and yards too!
This place does NOT look like Alamo Heights. My Husband and I heard that the insides were redone and modern looking but the outside looks terrible. The landscaping is the worst I've seen. Some of the "backyards" were just pits of mud. All of the grass was patchy and unkept. If they are really trying to turn this place around they better make it look appealing very quickly. I do NOT recommend this place for the price they are asking. I would be embarrassed to have friends/family over!
