Property Ratings at Burbank Center Apartments
This was a great apartment yes small but perfect it was clean, great location, great vibes , and amazing management team .. I would recommend this place to any single person out there looking
I moved here in 2019 and stayed for about 5 years. It was my first apartment after graduating college and a really perfect place to live! It was cheaper than a lot of the surrounding properties while also being situated right in the middle of Burbank Town Center. I never had a car, so it was difficult to get around LA, but it was manageable living in a more walkable area here than you'll find in a lot of places in LA. Management was always really kind, patient, and understanding!! Also very quick to respond when I had maintenance issues. Only downside of the building is that the washers/dryers aren't super reliable, but other than that it was perfect for me. I also loved the layout of my studio because rather than being one square room where I sleep next to my kitchen, the room is divided in such a way that it almost feels as if you have separate rooms. I've recommended it to friends of mine and twice I've had friends move into the building because they loved it too! :) Definitely recommend!
Nestled right in the middle of the hustle-and-bustle of Downtown Burbank, Burbank Center Apartments is the perfect option for any solo tenant who's looking for the convenience of all the food and entertainment they can imagine just down stairs. I lived here for six years and loved calling this place my home. The location simply can't be beat. If you're a foodie or a big movie-buff like me, this is an ideal spot for you. The management team is incredibly helpful. Hats off to Ash, Amanda, and Kaitlyn as they have always been communicative and accommodating. As far as property managers go, they're the cream of the crop. Some other stand out perks for me were the sizable bathrooms, especially for an LA apartment, and the security of the parking garage. I had a west-facing third floor unit, which was far enough away from the noise from the street and offered daily views of LA sunsets. My camera roll is full of them. The units are studios, so not particularly large, but the layout at least offers some separation in the space. One of the biggest reasons I left is to upgrade to a larger place. However, if BCA had one or two-bedroom units, I certainly would have considered sticking around. In terms of negatives, the kitchen is quite small. If you don't cook often, this shouldn't be a problem, but if you're trying to throw down in the kitchen, just know your space is limited. Also, my unit sprung leaks a number of times during the heavy rain spells. I was eventually given a discount in rent for my troubles, which I genuinely appreciate. Something to keep in mind if you're on the top floor though. Overall, I really loved living here. If they had larger units and allowed pets, I would probably have extended my time. If you're looking to live alone, I think this is the prime option. Thank you for being my home for a majority of my 20s, BCA!
I moved into this space 7 years ago and loved every second of it. It's a fantastic, clean, walkable location, for a great value. The management team is very helpful and responsive. For a studio, the space feels very large. The bathroom is also very spacious for an LA apartment. They've made an excellent use of the space. Great food options that are less than a block away, movie theater across the street, and the included gym is EXCELLENT. (As a bonus, the Burbank Farmers Market is 3 blocks away on Saturdays). Garage parking in this area is great and easy to access. I cannot recommend these apartments enough. If you're looking to live alone, this is the perfect situation. Don't hesitate!
I want to start off by saying how delightful the location of Burbank Center Apartments is. There are numerous lovely places within walking distance, with a bus stop just 5 minutes away and the train station a mere 15 minutes away as well. Choosing this as my first solo apartment was a decision I didn't regret; I consistently felt secure during my stay. I'd like to highlight the exceptional management team, particularly Amanda and Kaitlyn, who were consistently helpful with any concerns related to my unit. They ensured prompt handling of maintenance requests. Unfortunately, I had to move out before my one-year lease term concluded, and the management team is now extending their assistance in finding a replacement tenant for the remaining months. Their kindness is truly unmatched. On a note for improvement, I would have preferred more convenient rent payment methods, such as online payments, as the current option involves checks, which feels a bit outdated. Online payments would have been a significant time-saver. To sum it up, the location is fantastic, and the support from Amanda and Kaitlyn is commendable.
Clearly the location is amazing. Restaurants are everywhere and so close by that when there's a long wait time for a table, I just walk back to my apartment until I get the notification. The downtown area is always bustling on weekends with live music (and one awful saxophone player) as well as occasional local merchant fairs where you can get cool locally-made food or souvenirs. The downside to being around all that activity is the noise. The windows are thankfully very good at dampening the sound, but there are a lot of proudly noisy cars intentionally revving up. I don't have any big downsides to the place, just small things that add up. The kitchen size isn't great. I can't open the refrigerator door the whole way. The oven is made for munchkins - I can't even fit a baking tray in there - AND it's not fan-assisted. There are no amenities bar some ok common rooms. There's a gym next door, but it's not included. There's no online rent payment, so you'll have to order these ancient scrolls called "checks". The rooftop terrace was closed for renovations for my entire 15 month stay - I don't even know what it looks like up there. Also, some rooms have problems with roaches, but in all my time, I had only one roach and one spider come in uninvited. The management here is awesome. My bar for apartment managers is somewhere adjacent to the Mariana Trench, so it's not exactly hard to beat. However, Ash has stratospherically cleared that bar. I adore Ash. She's been very helpful and flexible. I would actually be homeless were it not for her. Or I guess moved out of LA to some shed in the Midwest selling propane and propane accessories. Overall, I enjoyed living here. Again, the location is just fantastic. The only reasons I moved were the no-pet policy (which now includes no fish, thanks to yours truly ??) and wanting more space (for fish).
This was my first apartment on my own and I couldn’t be more happier that I made the decision to stay here for over a year. Although I didn’t want to leave, I just needed more space. Ashley and Amanda are by far the best kind hearted people. I will never forget my interaction with amanda when I first went to check out the apartment. Knowing I was going to be there alone she reassured me and I never had anything bad happen the whole time I was there. I always felt safe. Ashley is the one who is there managing majority of the time and my interactions with her were always great. They make sure they do all the maintenance requests in a timely manner. All in all I would recommend this place and you wont regret living here!!! ????
The only reason I left this apartment was to save some more for the business I’m opening this month. Otherwise, I would’ve spent a few more years in Burbank Center Apartment. Location is great, and the interior of the apartment is better than any apartment you can find in Burbank. But the best thing about Burbank Center Apartment is that they have the best management team you can find in CA. The team is proactive about every part of apartment management, and they really care about their tenants. I’ve been moving in and out of a number of different apartments in California, and I hardly got any help from the managements for any maintenance and repair requests. But when I moved into Burbank Center Apartment, things worked different that they would send the technicians the next morning when you request for a maintenance the night before. Burbank Center Apartment management team, especially Amanda and Ash, actually care about communicating with their tenants, and you will figure how unusual this is if you’ve been living in apartments as a renter. They will be more than happy to help you out on any issues you have with your unit, and that a promise. If you are looking for a place to move in and some how you are reading this comment, then you just hit the lottery. Have fun and Grats that you don’t have to apartment hunt anymore.
Let me start off by saying that the location of Burbank Center Apartments is absolutely prime - located right in the heart of Downtown Burbank. The apartments themselves are very nice. But when something breaks, it has been a nightmare to get the maintenance team to come out. If I put in a work order, they do not reach out to set up an appointment. I always have to follow up with management. The quality of work that they do is generally pretty bad as well, and often times the problem is patched rather than completely fixed. Also, they advertise that there is a "roof top walking track and lounge" which has been closed off and inaccessible for the near two years that I have been here. In addition, they removed all of the chairs in the courtyard and it has been in shambles for 1-2 months. Also, the hallway carpet that they said would be replaced "very soon" (management has said this for as long as I've been here) is snagging and has caused me to trip near the elevator a couple times. There is only one trash chute for the entire building and often gets backed up. I currently live on the third floor and it backs up all the way. I cannot see myself renewing my lease when it is up. For the amount that they are charging for rent, I would expect to be able to use the amenities associated with my building and have things properly fixed within a reasonable time frame.
Bad Management from the Property Manager, Celine. Underlying to show the apartment, she made appointment as available then lied that, apartments are not available. Very bad management, and she is not recommended to be a Property Manager.
its a big building, has a gym and rooftop, also had TVs in the hallways but they were removed. TV reception isn't that great so prepare to buy cable. Good thing it's literally close to everything walking distance.
