The second largest city in Michigan, Grand Rapids rests on the Grand River, about 30 miles east of Lake Michigan. Formerly known as the Furniture City, Grand Rapids is now nicknamed the River City as well as Beer City USA for its riverside locale and proximity to 40 craft breweries. Grand Rapids is also the hometown of former United States President Gerald Ford. Fans of the 38th president can learn more about his life and impact on American history at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
Notable as an artistic haven, Grand Rapids hosts the annual ArtPrize competition, a 19-day affair drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city and featuring artwork all throughout Downtown Grand Rapids. Frederik Meijer Gardens exhibits an expansive variety of sculptures and gardens both indoors and outdoors. Meyer May House is revered as one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural masterpieces.

Property Ratings at Burton Square Apartments
The staff is great helpful moved me in with no problems Amanda I believe it is her name
I Am So Thankful For The Property Manager Helping Me Out 2 Years Ago ... She Cares For The Residents and Tries Her Hardest . These Apts Def Have Made A Turn Around . Never Have Had A Bug In My Apt. Never Heard Mice In Walls ... Plan On Being Here Another Year Or So :) Also, Its Literally By Everything ! Food, Gas, Stores.
This place has rats what ever you do don’t live here
Roaches, mice, bed bugs, earwigs. They let any and everyone in. The turn around for maintenance employees is ridiculous. The office "manager" babysits her granddaughter in the office. The buildings are not cleaned regularly and all of the cobwebs you may find in the corners are blamed on the residents. Screens are missing/damaged in almost every window. There are many gaps in the floorboard that are not sealed which makes it very easy for bugs and rodents to come through. I heard mice in the walls many many nights. The "manager" curses and threatens residents, mainly because a lot of residents are of low income. I moved there because I needed to move quickly but I should have shopped around more. I am not rich by any means but there are many more places in GR to live that would give better customer service/maintenance repairs. Please don't make the same mistake I made because you don't see many reviews. Many resident's will not say anything because of their fixed income or because they are foreigner's that do not speak much English and the "manager" will threaten to terminate their lease. However, the kitchen is spacious and the walls are clean.
