Property Ratings at Cabana
I lived here for 3 years and every year it got worse. They lied about my move in date. I was late moving in by almost a month due to "renovations" that were not done properly. The new floor peeled up within the first year. The apartment was infested with fleas when I moved in. By the time I moved out the whole building was infested with roaches. Managment could not get their act together the entire time I lived here. They messed up every lease renewal. Moving out was a nightmare. They lost my 60-day notice and couldn't figure out how to prorate my rent. The water would burst every winter in random buildings or the laundry room. Getting maintenance to show up, let alone fix the problem, was a huge headache and you had to call multiple times about the same problem. If you were not on top of it, management would just forget about you the same day. The police were there more times than I could count. I liked the convenience of the location but everything about living here is a nightmare.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. Providing a comfortable and well-maintained environment is a top priority for us. Your feedback is important, and we will use it to assess and enhance our management and maintenance procedures. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for highlighting these concerns for us.
Current tenant. I've been living here 2 years now and there's been nothing but problems. The main problem is our management. Not only are they rude but they tend to be deceptive about how thing's are done. One of them is just done right mean all the time. The maintenance men or Carlos most the time, are over worked and under appreciated I'm sure. I've had 2 floods in my bdr closet, flooded hot water heater, leak in bathroom from upstairs neighbor and today ice make flooded the floor. NEVER HAS THE TWO POOLS WORKED. LAUNDRY ROOM IS A JOKE. WELCOME TO CABANA!!!!!
Roaches. No management of property. Do not care if you have issues. Just horrible horrible people. Never move here. Ever. You'll regret it.
0/10 would not recommend!! I was miserable my entire 12 months. Leasing staff is slow with bad attitudes except Kim. Maintenance takes forever to fix anything and did I forgot they’re infested with roaches! My patio door was broken 9/12 months with continued promises to fix it.. it never got fixed. My air janky air conditioner was going out. The show room is NOT how your apartment will look. I could go on and on.. Pay a little extra because this is not worth it
I moved in last summer and there's a long list of reasons you shouldn't move into these. starting with air conditioning it works half of the time all summer I got up middle of the night in sweats bc it cut off and would take me 30 min to get it back on just for it to cut back off they said they couldn't do anything ab it and it was fine. any maintenance issue takes 3 months to get worked on even essential things like sink not working. they charge a fee for literally every little thing possible it's $2000 to get out of your lease. the staff is sooo unprofessional and needs some Jesus to say the least. I had an issue with noisy neighbors like insanely noisy and they told me call an after hour number which means they wouldn't get to it. 0 out of 10 apartments by any means necessary avoid these. it's worth paying a little more somewhere else then to be stuck in this hellhole.

I lived here for the full year of my lease and would not recommend to anyone. Consistent issues with building maintenance and unfriendly staff are the name of the game around here. I had a water leak in my apartment for over 3 months go unfixed. I had to threaten to call the department of health to the property management company itself before someone even answered my email on the matter. The office workers consistently had poor personalities and were extremely rude. My dishwasher went out in March and when I left in November it had still not been replaced. On top of that the area had plenty of things happening, vehicle break ins, people rummaging through the dumpsters, and a couple shootings nearby. It’s a no for me.

If you have pet. There is no reason to get an apartment here. The pet “deposit” does not covers damages. It’s just a “fee”. The are not as pet friendly as they claim to be. They do not give official letters about anything that is owe after you move out. They just call you one day and tell you if you don’t pay it in 24 hours it goes to collections without a prior notice. They failed to reach out to me professional via my others sources of contact. AKA via email. They are rude, nosy and plain unprofessional. Bathtubs are gross they just paint over the problem and it comes back. The air conditioner stop working in the summer. Maintenance is horrible. The laundry rooms has one a few working machines. Also, the neighborhood for the cost is not great. Police is always over there. Etc. save your coins and don’t move here unless you really have too. There are other places that are cheaper that treat their tenants better.
The Manager Kim at the leasing office is the most mean girl rude person I have ever met. The most petty too. It's a.shame, the apartments are nice. But she is so bad, I rate it one star. We will not be re leasing because of her specifically.
They are money hungry! They make it their mission to find anything to charge you. They treat you nice to get you to sign the lease, then afterwards they start to nag and find ways to charge you for something. Make sure you read the lease, because it's one sided. Non refundable deposit, so they can charge you for anything when moving out, even as simple as not sweeping the floor they charge you 40 dollars. We payed are rent on time with no problems, and still had issues with them. Foundation of the apartments are old and bad, you will constantly have problems with pipes, door offtrack, floor nails coming up, etc. Never been at a apartment that hassle and nag a good tenant! I recommend for anyone not to sign there, don't make the same mistake we did! You'll regret it. We are now taking legal actions towards them! They retaliate for moving out. We moved out after the lease was up and paid, and even was forced to stay and pay extra days because of a notice. its horrible!
The leasing staff as well as manager are not very polite. It seemed as though everything was going great but when they feel as though you may not lease it is a different story. I had to change the date of when I would like to move because my my nephew was in the hospital and I could come that day to sign any paperwork. Making sure he lived was my priority however they sook it as I was flaking. Ashleys tone demonstrated she was annoyed and when I asked her she replied- well you keep changing dates so...- I changed my date once and there after I called and was told to what until the following monday to talk to her. If this is how they are now, I can only imagine what they will do once I am locked in a lease. While I was filling out the application I heard there maintancd staff yell at a guy. She came back in and apologized for the tenants behavior, I told her nothe maintance staff memeber was out of line before the tenanat said anything.
I've lived here a year now. I will be renewing my lease. I've honestly had no major problems since living here. Every minor issue that I've had has been fixed promptly! I never had to call more than once or put in an online request more than once for my minor issues. The only downside is that I think the prices could be a little lower considering the fact that there are no washer/dryer connections inside the units. There is a laundry facility onsite but the prices on those have gone up as well. Also, the parking lot needs to be updated. Other than that, no issues. It's quiet, I never hear the neighbors above or beside me.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I put down my money & filled out the application and was given one price, then was quoted a even higher price right before it was time to move in. Kim was very inconsistent with her pricing. They refuse to give me my money and said "that's just how it works" It was fradjulent & I feel jipped. It is also not worth $600 based on how run down it is. Do not move here!!!
I love where I live. The staff are wonderful and the complex is very neat and very quite.
I love my apartment complex. The staff are wonderful and they answer every request I put in no matter how big or small in a timely manner
Ever since we changed apartment managers things have been great. We'be gotten rid of bad tenants, repairs are being upkept, and the property is looking more like a suburban neighborhood. I love living here. The community is very diverse, & everyone looks out for each other. The property is very clean. It's also pet friendly, with dog walkers living right on the property. It's a good place to live if your single, a professional, or a family getting started. The one & only down side is there are no dryers in the units, but thereally is a washing facility available.
The bedrooms and closets are great sizes and maintenance is very prompt with fixing any reported problems. My only complaint is the bathtub is not really deep enough to be functional even for a small person like me and the bathroom lacks drawers or cabinets of any kind for storage. Overall, the complex is nice and I've enjoyed living here.
I was so impressed when I visited this community and was excited that this is going to be my future home. The people are really great!
